My favorite slow bite bait:I slow roll a Beetle Spinner with a 2” grub tail on it. Use it as a search bait. Catch both Peacocks and Large Mouth on it.

Spook puppy chrome/black. Will induce a strike even if they ain't hungry because it irritates the bass or pea tremendously.

I break out the rattle trap first and last. Its gives me something to do while its slow.
Rattle trap is an effective lure! Can't throw it where I was fishing, waaay to much submerged vegetation. Appreciate you for watching!
