- Welcome! Some of these clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital many from the 70's, 80's and 90's. If I know the original air date/year I will post it.
There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. I remember this and watching it live. It was the ST Awards. I know you only put popular singers up, but could you upload Angela Winbush performance from that show. She never really crossed over to pop, but very known in the R&B world and had many #1 R&B Songs. Thank you.I had this tape many years ago, and I met Angela and she asked me if I could get that performance for her. But a friend had the tape and I never got it back. So it is a rare performance of hers that's not on youtube. Thank you again .
