I fkn LOVE your videos, Ben! So laid back and so serious at the same time, like your educating a friend while having a drink at the bar. Keep ‘em comin brother 🫡 plus, thank you for the parts I ordered from you for my Canik Rival darkside as well 👍🏻👍🏻 it’s a pretty awesome little backyard range warrior now lol custom trigger, every single spring replaced and the new guid rod system, wasach arms comp and extended magazine baseplates, patnic solutions baseplate with tritium sights built in, tritium front sight, and the Mecanik M02 red dot on top. Not the biggest fan of the dot but it does it’s job and I like that it’s from the same company and they match well.
I’m a 1000 rounds in on mine and I love it so much! It has not broke lost zero I’m so much more accurate/faster than my 507c won my first steel challenge with the first comp shooting this optic highly recommend for budget option
I agree the Qc could step it up. But they are virtually the only plate manufacturer on a mass scale of plates and guns. No excuse, but the other gripe would be “I can never find one I stock”. Great problem to have if your them. That said. Customer service has always been great for me. Had one slightly bend and replaced with upgrade and had a slight outta spec (yes Fn annoying) but they fixed np. also very interested in their optics offerings.
I’ve definitely seen their quality control go way downhill. But their customer service was excellent and they took care of me really quickly. What was your experience?
@@Drixels269 if you haven’t reached out to them, then do so. It’s better than putting in here. I can’t speak on their optic cuts. Just the plates. If they fd up I’d hope they’d correct it.
Feedback on sights/dots at different price ranges from someone who puts them thru their paces is a great resource. For some a more budget friendly option will meet their every need at their skill level without breaking the bank. I'd much rather have an option to get into a dot at $300 than being told the only option is north of $500 and not being able to get it and therefore not train with it.
In that same vein, the retired Marine that works at my local gun store told me, "the red dot snobs in the Trijicon or Holosun only crowd don't realize therea difference between a "COMBAT" sight & a "CARRY" sight. 99% of people just need a good quality "carry" sight." Which is why this same guy has also told people who don't have Holosun money that Swampfox is just fine for their needs. I just bought their "Justice" model from Bud's Gun Shop for like $160, which is a CRAZY good price for it. I put it on my Beretta APX A1 Tactical & I LOVE it! Again proving that there ARE good quality options out there for budget conscious buyers that are NOT "junk" simply because they don't cost AT LEAST $250 like the 407c.
I had a plate from them for my gen5 Glock and the plate was out of spec one of the holes was oblong and sent them a email for a replacement it’s been 5mouths now and I’m still waiting to hear from them. Totally turned me off to thier red dots . It’s like trying out a taco or pizza place ,try one taco or one slice of pizzas if the quality of thier bread and butter is excellent then the rest of the menu will be decent, if it a bad then you will get a sense of the rest of this menu.
Yes, you shoot alot and likely have numerous / many more times the amount of guns to outfit with red dots than even the average competitor pistol / rifle shooter. I get that buying $300 dots and outfitting 10 new guns would save you $2k over buying SROs. However, for the weekend warrior that only has a couple / few guns with likely longer life cycles (less rounds fired), would you still recommend this over a proven SRO or Holosun? At max, the savings would only be $400 instead of SROs, or $140 instead of Holosuns for outfitting two guns.
Saw someone mention your name and review on Reddit. I've been looking at C&H for a while. Really looking at the Duty model. How do you feel about the durability?
Please proceed to beat the snot out of the dot. I genuinely wanna know how long it lasts. I have gone through 9 Vortex Dots, at least four Romeo 1s, and a few Romeo 3s. The SRO is the ONLY one to take the abuse. I am NOT nice to my tools. I've dropped the SRO on my Rifle and the Atlas from shoulder to waist height multiple times, have never shut it off, and it's still going and zeroed strong.
@brianjarrell9203 I have 8 moa dot on my c-more rst2 and honestly at minimum level it needs to be a few levels lighter. Majority of time the lowest level is more than sufficient to shoot any stage you'll come across. 6-8 moa dot is more than sufficient enough!!
i bought a C and H comp in green i shot in a steel challenge and it washed out couldnt see it. the dot is not bright at all so disappointed, not good outdoors.
If they had a bigger than 3 minute dot I'd consider it and no the circle thing they have doesn't make up for it, for me a 6-10 minute dot works best on pistols both for competition and carry.
@@CA.0verview 507 is a better optic, his point in the video is if you got that c&h dot, its not worth the upgrade, but he says if he had neither he would get the holosun
Thanks for the update
Thanks for the review Buddy, was looking at those.
Thanks, good information.

Might as well go with the 507comp

CHPWS has horrible customer service and massively inconsistent QC. Will be interesting to see the consistency on their optics.

All their optics are made by someone else in china so they likely have nothing to do with QC
QC is a failure.I send my staccato P for red dot milling and it’s uneven.I’m disappointed

Which Safariland Holster was that? I like that! CH vs. Holosun? It's great to have options! 😉
Groovy

Will you be checking out different sights for practical rifle shooting you think, other than the 510c?
What do you like better about the 507 Comp Ben?

For me it got to "there is no budget dots" there's just dots that work, and dots that dont.
CHP is the new Oliver in terms of reviewers
I'd probably grab the Gideon Omega SRO clone over this one if we are talking value and features.
Needs a bigger dot tho. Like 6 or 8 MOA
Ya I love my C-More rst-2 version 5 with 8 moa dot.
Turn the brightness up and it will be bigger.

but... the hollowsuns are made of _Chinesium._
What reticle setting do you use on the 507Comp?
I'm almost positive I heard him say in a previous video, the 2 moa dot .

How much did buck pay you to change your mind
If their dots are anything like their plates they are 50/50 garbage.
Their plates suck always out of spec.
1791tactical has 507 comps in stock, got 7 of them with no issues
7? Jesus leave some for the rest of us.
@@Osprey1994 🤣 3 for me, and 4 split between 3 friends

Dang it . I bought the 507comp cause been gave it the green light
