My goodness, Tyler. You are so good at what you do at all levels. Mad skills!! There is no one I enjoy watching more. You make me want to just get up and go fishing! This was a ridiculously awesome fun looking day. Thanks for sharing with us!!
Hey Tyler... I was wondering if you could make a video on what lures/baits to fish when. One that I could watch repeatedly to really let everything sink in. Thanks in advance
Hey Tyler, enjoying watching your fishing videos and instruction videos. I have been watching you for about a month. I'm 73 and have been fishing since I was 8 strictly spinning reels and mono. I just loaded braid onto my new Mitchell 300, never used it before. Question: Do I have to fish braid with a mono or floro leader? Or can the bait be attached dirctly to the braid??
Search “TylersReelFishing line” and “TylersReelFishing leader”. You will find several videos that go way more into detail on this question than I could in this comment.
Nice! Up here in Eastern Washington waiting for the thermo to change... 41* with 10mph - 21mph winds :) Fall can be rough here, but should mellow here in a week or two!
Can you do a fishing video on bass fishing In Louisiana at Bayou Black Marina boat launch in Houma, Louisiana at Blueburgh Canal. You can a little Warmouth fishing near Cyprus Trees.
Did not keep track this year! I found that trying to get to 1000 was forcing me to stay on the water longer than I should. Not smart with all of the responsibilities I have to other things
Im a newbie here bro, i always watch your video to get more tips on proper fishing. The problem that i encounter is that im using a cheap rod and reel. 😰 Hope someday i can buy a branded rod and reel.
My grandparents have a dock on lake Sinclair ga and there’s a big stump right next to the dock with rocks along the sea wall that hold baitfish and I caught 7 bass in the same exact spot technically one doesn’t count because I caught the exact same fish that I had just released the cast before and caught it again the next cast. It the same hook mark as to where I hooked it previously. But they were absolutely stacked around that stump and rocks
ok i have a question do you think i should stop using those quick snap locks when using the jigs and other lures like crank and jerk baits and just tie it directly to the loop of the lure, cause these fast snap locks make it real easy to switch lures
I'm wondering if bass are always going after lures just because they move, or because they're actually hungry? I can go to a new body of water today, find a decent spot on the bank to fish, throw a Whopper plopper out and around the areas where I think the bass are hiding, just keep doing that a bunch of times and then all of a sudden one it seems gets ticked off enough and grabs the Whopper plopper, and then you get land your fish. However every time I do something like that it seems to skunk the whole body of water for hours to come. Why is that? I throw other things, I move to different spots I just can't seem to get anything else to hit. Also, I don't think I've ever caught a bass from the shore that was over 3 lb. Maybe, years ago when we didn't have cell phones and stuff like that, to get a picture right away and prove it. But lately I'm catching bass all over the place down here in florida, but they're not really that big. Don't get me wrong, they fight really hard. I'm just trying to figure out what I need to do. Must I have to suck it up and buy some kind of water craft to go after the really big fish, or what? It's been very frustrating for me. I do have a disability which is keeping me from being able to get around very easily. I have another hip replacement to go through, but the last one I healed up with pretty good. Any kind of instructions you could give me from what I just told you?
Awesome video with so much knowledge and thanks for attaching the “how to dock skip” as well. I learn SO much from you in every single video. The pressure point on the fish too was an incredible little nugget too!!
haha that guy was rude. are all dock owners usually that rude? haha. "I do" well then don't tell me you sold your house then. but overall great videos. I'm going to take advantage of this weekend last nice warm weather here in MN.
You could've covered all those docks in half the time skippin and crankin the chatter bug around those docks. The northern dock skipping vids are legit!
That was an unreal day of fishing, I dream of having a day like that
And I believe you will!

Thank you John!
That little nugget about grabbing the fishes pressure point is why I enjoy your channel so much. You really are teaching everyone. Thank you!
I was raised bass fishing the docks of sunkist beach at reelfoot lake with my unlce on his tracker boat so I can really relate to this😄
Nice!
Some lakes would take forever to fish, I love fishing docks with a jig in the winter I think it is the best lure for that season.
I have always wondered what docks to fish and how. Love this video! ❤
Great video 📹 Thank you for sharing & great info.
Absolutely awesome video Tyler! VERY informative
Thanks Mr. Nacho!
Nice video Tyler!👍 I like dock fishing
It’s so much fun!
I appreciate how much you explain what your doing and how your doing it. Keep up the good work!!!
Dude, this is such a cool video!!!
Glad you liked it!!
Great video Tyler. Enjoy all of your great adventures. God Bless.
Thanks Greg!
Great video! You should do a video about your top 10 bass lakes in the country. 🎣
Tyler is on 🔥🔥🔥
This just confirms that anybody with the name Tyler is the goat!

Try to fish Chickamauga's docks! Have you ever fished their by the way?
The biggest 5 fish limit I've ever caught was on chick skipping docks
@@luke_fishing4039 on chickamauga
@@tnbassmaster yeah me and my buddy call it chick
@@luke_fishing4039 awesome i fish the rea county eagle anglers and the strike king skipping jig has been killing it for me.
I haven’t fished Chick. I’ve fished Watts Bar though

That's my dream to have a day on the water catching that many fish.
It’s possible!
That was amazing! Ur my inspiration for sure.

Thanks Tyler. It's been a long time since I had a jig bite like that number wise maybe never. That many on jigs no 5s or 6s still looked like a blast.
Yea In Minnesota a 5 pounder is equivalent to a Florida 10 😂
It’s RARE to catch a Minnesota fish over 5 on a dock. They mostly chill offshore in grass and rock
Awesome video! I haven't seen your clicker counter for a while! Probably not called that at all! Lol! What are you up to now!
Did not keep track this year! I found that trying to get to 1000 was forcing me to stay on the water longer than I should. Not smart with all of the responsibilities I have to other things
That dog was hilarious 😂
Welp. I think you've gone and made your best video ever. Congrats, sir.
Thank you my friend!
we are not going to talk about that freaking rock bass that he practically slug right off the hook, 3:47

I think one day you will! Hope to also get to meet you one day!
hey tyler, nice video. was this filmed in fall? it looks pretty sunny
Early fall
I have a question. I have never caught a fish on a hard bait. I fish mostly fish ponds and creeks. What is the first hard bait I should get?
crank bait or top water
Squarebill and spinnerbait
Thx

Come to Lake Norman in NC and do this challenge… 🤣🤣🤣

I learned that I suck at dock fishing , you caught so many fish 😂
I did catch quite a few haha
Can you do a vid on fishing a new pond or private lake
Looking at a Lew's KVD series casting rod. Is there really much different between the 7'2 medium heavy and the 7'4 medium heavy?
Not much. I always go longer if I have the casting room
Great video.
Your first sons name will have to be either Skip or Skipper. Lol
Lol
@@TylersReelFishing another one will be Skeeter and the third will be Bass.
You stinkin put a hurtin on em with that jig
Dude doesn’t realize you can go online and find his listing and what he sold for? Great video!
He said "never been here before" but yet the title....You owe me a lure. Lol 🍺
I changed the title to make it more clickable. Original title was "The lake"
When is the best time of the year to fish a jig on docks for bass?
Summer
@@TylersReelFishing Thanks. Also one more question. Is it better to use a skipping jig or a flipping jig under docks?
The rock bass in the beginning after being rocketed into that trolling motor 🥴
What a fun day!
Was so much fun!

While I'm on 6pm to 6am 🕕 for work smh I only have weekends now!!! Great videos... you been uploading around my lunch hours
Haha that’s great. Thanks for watching!
Can you get some close up, top water, Slow Mo shots! Thx.
Not till next April, but I will then!
I’ve noticed that jerk baits and especially weightless flukes are killers around this time of year
one of the most akward experiences in life is saying something like "If you don't mind me asking" and they say something like "I do mind"
For sure
What lake is this Tyler?
Awesome video
Thanks Nahlon!
If that was a tourney you woulda done really well
Challenge for you: go try and fish every dock on Conroe
Lol too many. And not enough fish on em. Maybe a calm Wednesday in the spring

I wonder if you try a big swim bait if you would catch bigger fish? but I learned a lout thanks.
Not around shallow docks usually. Jig is supreme for a reason
Wish I caught that many fish this year. 🎣🎣🎣
You will next year! Just gotta get out there more
he caught more fish in the first 15 minutes of this video than I have in my whole life
Follow along with all the tips videos I make! You can get there too 👍🏼
This up north?
Yes
Amen
Casting back to where you just caught does work. I learned that today when I hooked 4 from one spot on a small fell tree in the water.
Do you ever do cats clean and Cooks you keep the best you ever if you lay them up and eat them a lot of people do a lot of people don't
