Just did this last month. Two important things to note about this excursion: If you book through Carnival the guides will NOT let you jump from the platforms, you can only slide down the rocks. The other lines do not have this restriction, and there was nothing on Carnival's site to let you know this before booking. Second: There will be a guy taking pictures along the way and at the end they will offer to sell you all the photos taken of your group for $55.00 on a USB drive. We did not purchase them on site but just today got an email offering us to buy just the photos we want out of the package and I got 5 shots for $25.00. Way better deal if you ask me. Also, I cannot begin to describe how COLD the water is, it takes your breath away.
That's such a shame you weren't allowed to jump?? This wasn't the case for us at all. It wasn't cold for us luckily!! It was a lovely sunny day so maybe that was why! Thank you for watching!

Where did you book your tour? I have found a few, but they are 225 pp, I saw it is only 9 dollars to get in. We are coming in on a cruise ship. Will be in DR from noon - 6:30 pm.

You are much braver than I am, there is no way I would of done those jumps, were the slides bumpy?, Pina Colada's looked delicious.

Is it comfortable just to wear water shoes during the hike? I am going next week!
Yeah the water shoes were fine for the hike just be careful where you walk. Have an amazing time next week, it's such fun you'll love it!!

Aw haha thank you. The water wasn't too cold no. If you have t shirts/shorts etc like we did it's fine plus the sun was out all day which was lovely.
