Was there any restrictions on the buggies regarding speed or jumps? You mentioned everyone was driving in a single file line, was it slow most of the time?
There weren't any jumps to go over and speed is restricted by the line formation. It didn't feel too slow though. There's one guide at the front and one at the back.
I'm doing this same tour soon! I was really nervous but now I'm pretty excited after seeing your video. I'm curious if you saw any snakes on the hike/waterfalls? (Snakes are one of my biggest fears)
@@fulfillpassport was this excursion booked through Virgin or did you use an outside group? Norwegian's excursion for this is about an hour buggy ride and no lunch provided so I was curious about this one. Thank you!
@@stephanierogers566 I booked through Virgin Voyages but you can book direct here: www.viator.com/tours/Puerto-Plata/TOP2IN1-Damajagua-waterfalls-Safari-buggy/d795-107974P19?pid=P00002881&uid=U00137169&mcid=58086 (affiliate link, no extra cost to you but I may receive a small commission for the recommendation)

I'm not sure what you mean. We went on one bus to get to this site with Virgin voyages

That's awesome, it's a lot of fun! No, I didn't see any snakes on the hike or around the waterfalls.
Is there an option to not jump off so some of the higher landings?
There is a way around the highest jump but I think that's the only one with that option
You mentioned a buffet lunch after the waterfall. Was that included in the excursion?
Yes, the buffet lunch was included on the excursion that I booked.

What was the deepest you’d say the water was for the jumps?
I'm not sure, I didn't touch the bottom on the high jumps
Do you know what the weight limit was for this?
I don't recall seeing a specific weight limit. They call it a strenuous excursion because of the hiking, jumping, and swimming involved
how long was the buggy portion?
I think it was about 2 or two and a half hours on the buggy going there and then returning
Can you have your own buggie
They put you in pairs generally but if you're traveling alone, you may get your own buggy
