This was huge help when I sheared two studs off changing out winter wheels! It felt great not having to take / flatbed it to a dealer to do this job. Thank you very much!
OK, so, first, at 1:40, you show the bolt you removed to move the brake line is the same size for removing the rotor. Genius. During my last brake job, I said "Why did Subaru provide you this threaded hole, but not the bolt to use it?" Turns out they did. Second, since I have 3 of these to replace on the same rim (glad I saw that before my morning commute tomorrow), my dad said I would need to get a special tool or a regular nut to pull the stud in. Your three-hundred-and-twelve shim washer trick allows you to use your lug nut. "Liked" the video, great job!
Love the epic orchestral battle music.... like a breathe of fresh air compared to these annoying hip hop music clips and loud mouthed explanations/advertisements these youtube filmers use
what is the torque spec you used to tighten caliper bolts back ? TIA
59.0 ft-lb thanks for asking
6 years old and this video is still helping people. Your format is the best I’ve ever seen. My sons and I did this in 25 minutes. So helpful. Thanks

When he reached for the broken wheel stud with that long ass magnet and the music in background 🤣🤣🤣
Good simple video thanks. I knew about the brake line bolt but the washer trick for pulling the stud tight was clutch.

Your video helped me save so much time in doing this project. Genius on that brake line bolt to remove the disc.

This guy is the best!!!
Good job nice and easy👍👀
Great video. Thank you
Would the process be the same in the rear?
Similar, but you’ll also might have to remove the drum brake pads for the hand brake if you want to have more clearance.
@@jowflow2 Thank you. Great video by the way 👍
