Hey man your videos have come a long way the editing is nuts. Just wanted to let you know that a week ago i picked up my 899 artic white. Your videos helped a lot with clearing out the fake rumor's about the panigale and really helped me narrow down my choice. Loving my bike, hope that your channel continues to grow
I agree with the logic on starting on a Ducati as a beginner bike. I started on a 600 GSX-R for a couple months starting in February and traded for a 899 that was a decent price. I only use it for commuting to work. No group rides, speeding or racing and haven’t had any issues. It really depends on the person and what they do with it. I have a Hellcat that I joy ride and race in and do car club rides. The Ducati only gets ridden to work.
The temp doesn’t sound bad. I took a 150 mile trip on a Harley ultra classic on Saturday. Weather said it’s was 109 degrees. I thought my pants were going to catch on fire a couple of times lol. Loved the end of the video motorcycles, coffee, guns and dogs. These a a few of my favorite things lol.
That’s a terrible sales person. I live in Northern California up at the northern end of Death Valley. The summer sometimes will get between 115 up to 118 rarely. I still got mine! (it does get uncomfortably hot though)
Paramoto: You handled the heat of the 959 like a champ. I road tested the 959 on a Ducati Demo bike. The heat coming off the engine burned my inner thighs really bad. I would have to road test a Ducati Panigale again in leathers to see if I could actually purchase a Ducati. The heat was INSANE even on the highway. The heat was so unbearable I couldn't wait to get off the bike. Beautiful looking bike, though.
Hi champ great video I rode the 2020 V4s and my legs felt like they were cooking ,,even for about 2 hours after I got off it, I rode for about 30 min heavy traffic that would be a great video,,, if took the 2020 V4s for a test ride and you did the same test on the 2020 V4s What do you think
@@Paramoto959 i bet if you did it you would get so many views. might make Ducati do something about it when I test rode it in traffic for 20min my leg felt like it was burnt took about 2 hours to cool down
@@Paramoto959 you should. I do want to know how and what products you use to clean it. I just bought a 2017 for myself. Will be picking it up in a couple of days. I don't make videos but make a short video dedicate to you as thx to you I bought it. How do I send that short thank you clip to you?
I do not know the exact temp for my V4; damn thing doesn't have a temp gauge. I can tell a difference between my R1 and my V4. I usually will not ride the V4 if it is more than 90 out. Especially if I am going to be in any traffic at all. Good video. Keep em coming.
I drove for almost two hours in 100*+ conditions. I had 1st degree burns on my inner thighs that lasted 2-3 days. I got the heat shield kit from Ducati Spacers. 👍
Nice video. When I get mine, I will know that I would come back home fully cooked...lol. Btw, since the 959 does not have a fuel gauge, do you use your trip odometer to calculate when to fill up? If so, how many miles does the tank get u? Sorry for all the questions
Do you, or have you ever encountered speed wobble on your 959? I have yet to encounter any on my V2, but I have not gone aggressively looking for such at this point.
My v2 got to 226 degrees today. It was about 87 degrees outside. I couldn’t ride it for more than 30 minutes. It was roasting my ass. 25k bike? I’ve only ridden fire blades and I kinda don’t like my panigale

Thanks homie! And congratulations on the bike! I'm glad I could help 😎😎

😂😂😂 lol
Great post! It cleared a lot of doubts about that particular issue. Perfect objective data to base my decision on a Ducati. Thanks!
One of the reasons I didn’t buy a panigale was because the salesperson told me it got really hot and I live in Oklahoma and summers are hot!!!
That’s a terrible sales person. I live in Northern California up at the northern end of Death Valley. The summer sometimes will get between 115 up to 118 rarely. I still got mine! (it does get uncomfortably hot though)
100* F and humid in stop and go never really got to me. The Panigale heat issue is truly over exaggerated.
Boomer!

Honestly I don't think its bad. It doesn't bother me at all :)
Thanks for making this vid. I'm in G'boro and have thought about getting one of these off and on. I like it better than the V2.
Me too. Is the same bike with a face lift pretty much. I love the 1199/1299 so this is right up my alley tbh. 😎
"AM I NOT TURTLE ENOUGH FOR THE TURTLE CLUB"😂😂

It's a great idea, I may be able to do that video eventually. I only know one person with a V4 though so there a bit of a barrier.

It may you never know with UA-cam TBH. 😎😎
Have you made a video on how you clean your bike? It looks mint as always
I could for sure! Right now she's dirty dirty. 😎

Thanks bud. It's awesome for sure. I will email you a short clip within a week. Want to clean it up a bit myself :)

I remember saying that it gets warm lol

I thought you lived in Cali? It gets that hot there?
Paramoto 959 yes, yes I do. At the north end of: Death Valley! So it gets hit here. 115* (118* sometimes)
Hi. Can you please do the same expirement with the H-D Roadster? Thanks.
I could but there is literally no heat from the Roadster.
Nice video, how about the big brother 1199?
What’s the difference between the 899 and 959. Would it be better to get one over the other if let’s say a 899 was 2K cheaper than a 959?
Good question. 👍
Thats a great question. I was thinking about doing a 1199/1299/V4 comparison. A V2/959/899 video could be really cool too. 😎
Paramoto 959 I would love to see that.

It does have a gas light. It comes on at about 1/2 tank.
@@v2taoandzen364 thank u
Cy D you are welcome. 👍 ride safe.
@@v2taoandzen364 you too bud
I typically average around 40 miles a gallon, so probably about 180 miles a tank. 😎😎
Nice video! Been on a few Ducati’s an never had any issues with the heat that it generates but that 2018 R1 gets crazy hot! Arizona summer riding! 😂😂🤪
Liter bikes will keep you toasty 😎
Nice flex there at the end. Is that chambered in .223 or .556 or other?
That was my Berreta clone. Its a Girsan Regard MC. $300 and a super reliable fun pistol. All my AR's are chambered in 5.56 though 😎
Paramoto 959 👍👍
Love the running commentary on the surrounding traffic! 🤣😂
Its always fun to watch Raleigh drivers. 😂😂
Loved the video, keep up the great work don’t pull any punches! 👍👍
Trying to keep the content on the up and up 😎
Pretty hot. I burned my leg this last weekend on a long ride with the heat shields installed. Anyway to combat this?
I know there’s products out there. I honestly don’t need anything.
Do you, or have you ever encountered speed wobble on your 959? I have yet to encounter any on my V2, but I have not gone aggressively looking for such at this point.
I've never had any issues at speed. The steering damper works perfectly. 😎

They get toasty. I never minded the heat tho.
“Tiny sandwiches “ 🤣😂🤣😂
I'd love to see the look on the Officers face when I say that lol
It gets 115, 118 sometimes here. 😖
Yikes!
219* ? Ok, you officially have balls of steel. (Or ice) 🤣😂
That was the bikes internal temp. Outside the hottest it got was 102 😎
Close one
Second is really first looser. 👍

I'm paramoto 959 on insta as well. I'm starting to increase presence on that platform as of late. More posts coming soon 😎😎
Sounds like your averaging 4000(ish) rpm.
Yup 4-5 during vlogs. Anymore and the drone is to much.

The project was called "Jiggly Bits" in Final Cut it Mae me laugh every time I'd open it lol
I find my inner thighs get the worst from the cylinder head.
I bet, that whole area gets toasty.
4th and 5th ! Damn, I’m slacking. Sorry guys. 😖

I am wrecked, destroyed! You have somehow clinically proven that I am a pussy. 😖
