NOTE: I forgot to talk about the base (lol)! The base on the Pulsefire Pad is very solid, instead of a full-rubber base that is usually found on mousepads HyperX did a new "cell patterned" base that is honestly fantastic! The base is very grippy and held itself in place on my desk very well. Even with pressure applied the base held perfectly fine. Another positive about this new "cell patterned" base is that since only the cells are grippy all the surrounding fabric almost acts like a valley for dust etc to fall into helping the base stay grippy for longer! ⌚Timestamps: 00:00 - Intro 00:14 - Pricing 00:28 - Available Sizes 00:35 - Packaging 00:43 - Dimensions 01:00 - Build Quality & Edges 01:22 - Surface Texture 01:38 - Glide & Smoothness 02:07 - Speed 02:31 - Control 02:50 - In game Performance 03:13 - Dust & Pet Hair 03:30 - Moisture & Humidity 03:44 - Arm Sleeve Usage 04:20 - Mouse Cables 04:32 - Lifespan & Durability 04:57 - Included Warranty 05:07 - Rating & Thoughts 05:43 - Outro
awesome review! I was wondering what mouse skates would compliment this mousepad; specifically the X-ray Pad Obsidian skates or the X-ray Pad Jade skates?
I've been using HyperX Quad Fury S Pro for years, and it's the mousepad that got me to Diamond 1 on Valorant before. I'm thinking about getting this soon for an upgrade for the mousepad. Thanks for the review!
I'd try it out! I've seen the pad go for as low as $10 USD so if you can nab it on a sale get it! Also on another note one of my favorite skate/mousepad combos has been the Xraypad Jades & the Pulsefire Mat, goated combo for Valorant!
I'm SO excited for the AXW! Apparently the AX & np-01s wireless skus are potentially releasing in late april, I'm just hoping I can get my hands on one, demand for VAXEE stuff has been crazy as of late!
i have a Fury S Pro for almost 4 years, and I feel that ppl slept on HyperX pads. Seen that recently getting more hype. As I`m not a fan on spending big on a pad, the HyperX pads the Qck`s and Goliathus are doing it for me. Actually I`m curios which one was more control, the Fury Speed or the Pulsefire Mat, would switch my Fury Pro after all these years it`s time.
If you’re looking for a good budget control pad the Pulsefire Mat is good but one that’s also super good is the IKEA LÅNESPELARE Black Mousepad! Feels like a old SteelSeries QCK but much cheaper, its been my go-to pad between reviews! I have a review of it and the speed version on my channel if you wanna learn more about em! Thanks for watching!
@@galee4253 Hey! It's very good, it's actually been my main work pad for about a year now and it's held up really well! The pad is very easy to clean too, just wash by hand with soap, rinse with water and air dry and it's brand new!
It'll depend on your mouse/skates, I just pulled them both out and did a quick comparison and the IKEA BLACK felt more controlled than than the Pulsefire Mat.
@@mel0nFPS so the pulsefire mat is basically not much worth like the ikea as a control mousepad also it feels rough too lmao. guess i will go ikea. thanks dude, u helpful as always
Hi! I tried the 204 years ago and I want a big fan of it at the time. I may have to revisit it since it’s been a few years but regardless there are better pads in that price range for PFS games specifically, Pulsefire Mat & IKEA Pad (Black & Patterned) to name a few.
ngl ive been using my smooth table surface and switching to this mat my mouse feels a tiny bit sluggish (my desk is hella smooth) and the mat is scratchy. Im new to mousepads so I didn't know control pads were a thing I thought it was all about as much of a smooth experience as possible. Luckily I play cs2, r6 mainly so we'll see if this helps with control. The reason i bought it is because its a very decent size for a stitched edge mousepad, only cost 10 euro and it arrived next day when ordering with amazon prime. My second mousepad ever (first one was a tiny razer one that was bundled up with my basilisk essential), ill post an update next week if I like this mousepad.

I have the Paracontrol v1 and I vastly prefer the Pulsefire Mat. Can't speak for the newer Pulsar pads since I haven't used them but the Pulsefire Mat is still really good imo.

Ikea lånespelare has way too little control for me. I come from QcK, high sens, quake only... Is this a good choice? Or is it faster than QcK?

How's it after a year, amazing video btw loved it gained a sub here ❤
Pad still holds up! Haven't used it too much as I've been testing a lot of pads but it's still a very solid pad for the price!

Which is better between HyperX Pulsefire Mat and Fury S?
I haven’t used the Fury S myself so I can’t compare the two, sorry!
What arm Sleeve are u using in the video?
Just a generic athletic sleeve, I’d recommend getting a real one with a proper fabric so there isn’t as much friction on the pad but they work for me!

All you’re doing is constantly comparing this to the “aqua” mousepad as if you think everyone watching has the aqua
