@@ricka12345 yes with the 2jzge non vvti, you either have to install the crank pulley, use the distributor, or swap on the later gen oil pump and crank trigger
Good to see Judas lives. I'm just about to invest in a "Transmission Jack Adaptor Gearbox Removal Adaptor" from ebay very shortly myself for the very same reasons as you. "Heavy Auto box + a car on axle stands + just me by myself" The adaptor converts a regular hydraulic floor jack into hopefully a useable and secure transmission jack for quite a reasonable £30-40 bucks. For the price I'm willing to give it a shot, plus add some ingenuity and some modification if needed. Check them out, D. Could be a life/back saver. If all else fails I may just modify a wooden shipping pallet with heavy duty castor wheels plus a jack to create something to the same effect. I figure the Car would need to be raised prob 6in higher (to account for the pallet and wheels), and also level front to rear to make that work though, because tilting that rig would be more difficult with a single jack. Plus the caster wheels cost the same as the adaptor lol
That thing looks awesome

This will be my favorite series as I am trying to put a 2JZGE into my MK3 supra. I may weld a custom crank sensor bracket and not use any cam sensor.
