For everybody wondering WHY, here's the video that explains why 25 HP wasn't working:

For everybody wondering why I bought a New Holland over a John Deere or Kubota, here's that video:
ua-cam.com/video/KXemvyV_fwI/v-deo.html
Did you by it to go up an down the road or to use it to run the 25 down it is not a grader you should have bought the bigger one the first time if you wanted more power

Thanks for sharing the trial and errors of your new tractor ADVENTURE. It helps to see and hear these things from someone who has been through it.
that extra horse is gonna be real
Nice can’t wait to see it work
AND Congrats on the new machine!
I’m enjoying your tractor and homestead videos
I have the 35 hp hydrostatic drive and I love it. Does everything I wanted to do with a compact tractor on our 25 acre farm.
Congrats on your new tractor.
sweet tractor! i just got the Boomer 40 yesterday, my first compact tractor.
What a great machine! I just stumbled across your channel today nd now I'm a subscriber. I have your tractor's bigger brother.... the LS XR4145HC. I have over 200 hours on mine and I've never had an issue in 2 years. LS makes great equipment!!
Looks nice! Useful upgrade for sure. My dad has an older 25 NH (probably 10 yrs old or so) with turf tires and a huge belly mower. Still runs great. I think its only been in the shop once, got some bad fuel and had to get the fuel system flushed out....no big deal.
Love to see that the loader stick is on the fender.
i have the 33 hp workmaster and i use it on my 16 acres to cut grass, maintain driveway and move whatever needs to be moved. i love its ruggedness!
Nice tractor. I like seeing NH content. Ive got an 03 TC35 with 3rd function for grapple, love it. I bought a RhinoAg TW25 medium duty rotary cutter a couple weeks after getting tractor. Had to drive down to Georgia about 5hr from Nashville to get one in NH blue.
I know this is old, but I'm following your story on this and it's like a mini series, you need a playlist just for your New Holland tractor series. That said we are looking to buy our first tractor and while I hate you had to learn this lesson we learned from you and your channel is great!
Very nice!👍
Looks amazing! Can't want to see more videos of this tractor in action.
Thanks!
Don't you just love how the lawyers have taken over engineneering manufacturing ?
Nice Tractor! Congratulations on your new purchase! Just a suggestion: You might want to get something to protect your hard lines from on the side near the loader from sticks and debris. You might also find yourself wanting a rubber mat for your flooring. Overall that’s a great looking tractor, I’ll be excited to see it put to work!~SBYD
I started with 22hp, later went to 33hp, and now have 41hp.....finally hitting the 'sweet spot' I think, between size and hp. I work in the woods a lot and need a tractor small enough to work between trees and large enough to have some 'ummmph'.
Congrats on the new tractor and I agree emissions suck just bought a 3901 last month.
Great video, Nice to see a New Holland video. I have a New Holland Boomer 33 Shuttle shift it's a tank loaded tires it pulls and hauls really great. We also have a Kioti CK3510 it's a Hydrostatic drive and there's a big difference in power between the 2 tractors shuttle shift has way more power to the ground. Thanks for sharing.
You’re absolutely right! Hydrostatic trans robs too much power
Great tractor! Now you need a proper sized box blade!
I think that your uncle had a truck named Blue Mule, may have been before your time. Anyway, congrats on the new tractor
Nice tractor
You could always put the switch on the ground wire for your work light.
Good people to deal with. Have known them for years
Congrats on your new tractor ! I am sure you are going to love using it. I have a 40 HP Boomer so it is nice to see some more NH videos. BTW, do you remember the P/N of the switch and where you got it for your light? It looks like a perfect fit for the slots they provide.
Hey man like your new tractor, glad to see you were able to make a trade hope they didn't hit you too hard. I know you will like the extra HP
Thank you kindly.
The New Holland compact tractor line is fantastic. I had a TC 33D for my Fence, Lawn & Landscape business. Great product line......work horses!
The Tick! Google - The Tick cartoon.
For your drive way a land plane 6' would grade your driveway much better, but check out videos about the land planes as they do a much better grading job than a box blade. They have 2 angled cutting blades plus rippers and allows the material to flow over the blades and lays it out evenly.
That must have been an expensive trade up.
After you remove the hard pack with box blade scarifer if you have a rear blade you could recover all that gravel that's been pushed to the edge of the road and blend it back into the road. That gravel on the edge will act like a wall and retain water creating more pot holes. You may be able to recover it with the box blade if you get enough tilt on it but without angle it may be hard to do.
The wire is for a tag that says what fluids are finished when tractor is built
Those hoses hanging down from the joystick look like a real candidate for a sucker punch
I believe those are cables to operate the loader valve under the floor
their is 2 different style of skid steer bucket attachments, its mainly so people with a small tractor don't try to put something too big on it, it's easy to modify and make the bigger stuff fit on a smaller one but a little tougher to make the small stuff work on a bigger one
Good morning nice tractor i have a new Holland tc35d and absolutely love it if your tractor is anything like mine you will also love it. Also when you start using your loader you will like the sloping hood and loader arms because it gives you the ability to see what you’re working on.you also have telescopic steering wheel just grab the knob in the center of the wheel and turn it and pull or push the column up or down
Thanks
Just like our WORKMASTER. You will enjoy running it.You will have to use a special engine oil in order for the regeneration system to operate properly
Hey man. Thanks for the videos. I got the. 25 last month and also looking at the eco diesel so I appreciate your videos. Where did you get the rubber floor mat and toolbox? I want to get a retractable seatbelt and a cup holder some day soon
I bought the boomer 24 a few years ago, I'm a diesel mechanic and also wanted to avoid emissions system. Mine is working out good for me, I started out with 6 acres and sold most of it off, but run a business and tractor gets used daily, I spent my mo ey in attachments. I would love alot more horsepower but with the smaller frame, I cant get where I need to with the larger frames, I kind d of want to crank up the pump and see if I can do anything with injectors and turbo, I miss my my old dangerous ford 9n where you could flip the tractor over backwards with the torque, I cant even spin tires in 2x4 in this one.
Beautiful tractor, I have a 2001 TC24D New Holland that has been running like a champ for the past 20 years, and I constantly push it past its limits. I'd love a bigger tractor but property is too small for anything more.
Just bought a workhorse 35. Never owned a new car or truck but now have a 2021 New Holland! Been tickled with what I could do with it. Worked with a 1980 48hp Masseferguson for years. This 35 is far better
Nice tractor and the extra hp and weight as well will be appreciated. Curious what your deciding factor was in buying a New Holland.
I wish you the best on the Tractor. However, after observing you secure a tractor in a trailer by hooking the straps to the hydraulic hose guard on the loader to keep it from moving? Please wear your seatbelt and put the ROPS upright position, they only work to save you when you do both together.
go to ebay n buy a lite bar turn nite into day ! great looking tractor !
Mike, I’ve been retired now for 23 years from Liberty Mutual. Ins company, I was the Director of Administration and Personal for most of last ten years now they call them Human Resource Manages I was responsible for 345 technical personnel, had nine divisions officers one was in New Castle, Pa. luckily I was able to retire at 57 as a millionaire and still am, I’ll be 80 in June but health issues have slowed me down.
Cool, you said Bloomfield. My daughter lives there. If there is a video I apologize, what made you rule out the RK when you were looking at the smaller ones?
nice ls tractor
Ive got a 33hp scag saber tooth Tiger diesel mower that has a turbo about 1/2 that size.
Daughter says Blue Hornet.
I hope you got a great price because the did not do any predelivery inspection and adjustment.
Should have checked out the Kioti CK4010SE.
A cleaner, more ergonomic setup. Loader and 3Point hitch specs are really quite decent.
Boy I just found your UA-cam channel and I'm going to subscribe but you should have got a cab tractor with heat and air conditioning I'm 50 years old and let me tell you what a difference I've got the same tractor. Too bad I didn't know you before I subscribed I could have got you a discount on one of those tractors
Love my l2501
Nice tractor but I’m a John Deere fan like I mentioned my 2038R with the turbo it’s about 40 hp as well I love the tracker but your tractors nice
@6:02 the loader control is that pilot actuated ? ... no hydraulic lines just some micro switches controlling solenoid valves for the loader would be my guess.
Call her Blue Steel.
Like your channel. You mind telling me how much the 40 hp costs
Thanks
Is the work light pigtail wiring, hot all the time even with the key off and out of the tractor?
Probably where the manual was wired to the engine?
OFFRD - What does that model run for price ? Old Blue is a good name...
How do you work the grapple? Do you have a third function valve?
I rent a 40 hp LS this weekend looks the same machine.
The vehicles today with all the emissions and electronics they can't even run not like the old trucks Take Care
Nice tractor. Your previous one was just too small. I was told before purchasing my Kubota that I should at least get a tractor with 30 hp or better so I purchased a 3301 (33 hp). Did you only get the front loader with your purchase? What is the New Holland 40 hp going for these days?
This should be perfect for your acreage. You'll not regret this choice.
The workmaster doesn't come with floor mat.. where did you get yours?
Hook it up to the tree like you did the 25 horse I’d really like to see the difference
Should I check out the coyotes
I am not an expert! However from other sources I think that you will have to consider how you use the more powerful engine. If it is able to do many of the required tasks at or near idle rather than at or near full throttle then you stand a greater chance of sooting up your emissions kit. I hope that this works for you as your investment has been considerable.
Eco-diesel sounds hilarious.
If the wind scares your truck, you need a different truck.
He's also hauling a large enclosed trailer which acts like a sail in the wind, something to consider. I've used my nissan frontier and a dodge ram 1500 and both tow great until it gets real windy, crosswinds more than 80km-hr made me slow right down when pulling my camper
Check the Hinomoto HM255 with yanmar engine
Why didn’t you demo both the Deere and the NH? Maybe you’d find the 3025E has more jam than the returned New Holland?
The front of the Tractor does look like a hornet, so why not call it the "Blue Hornet".
same hood on the boomer tractors also
Looks just like my LS 40hp except mine seems beefier. I did a little research and found out LS is basically a New Holland, except with extra features and cheaper. Had mine 3 years now and am very happy with it.
Have only had mine less than a year and I'm loving it, especially paired with a grapple. People seem to hate on the LS brand UNLESS it's labeled New Holland or IH-Case, then they love them! You probably have the LS equivalent of the NH Boomer line, with the larger frame, as is mine.
@@HB-bc5po Outstanding brother (high fives! Mine is the XR 4140H, three cylinder turbo engine. It is a workhorse. My neighbor has a 50 hp Kubota and when he drove mine said it was like driving a Caddy compared to his. Take care. (which grapple did you get for your tractor?, am in the market for one)
What was the price difference between the twenty five and forty HP???
Is there a way of contacting you? Looking for your opinion on your purchase.
Wait a second did they low your tires or not should be 75% beet juice inside the Rears
Your ram truck is probably having electrical problems just like mine does all the time
My man! Just stumbled on your channel and see the WKU hat! I am a wku grad myself. When did you go there?
I showed up on The Hill in 1997. :)
@@4-LOW i got there in 96. Attended many gatherings at the rugby house. Was in Hugh Poland and the went to the Gables when they opened up.
All that particulate stuff may put you off, but the difference in being around a diesel with all that emission stuff is very noticeable. And particulates are really bad for your lungs. Hope it doesn't add much to maintenance.
Are these Korean-made tractors now? I have an older 24HP New Holland that's Japanese made.
How about the blue bull?
For me the 26 hp was enough but I bought a 2610 gear drive idk how much hp the hydro takes but I could feel the difference
our boomer is 23hp wich we want get rid of it to replace for a kubota
@@michaelmactavish1728 interesting i was browsing my manual for my 50hr oil change specs and i saw the L2501 has a 100 cubic inch engine vs the workmasters 80. Soooo too similarly weighted tractors but one with significantly larger engine could be the reason for the poor performance.
Engine size makes a difference. 25hp can be in a wide range of sized engines.
Look at the pto hp numbers as a guide to the hydro losses. Both loose a bit through the transmission, but the hydros usually loose several hp, while the gear maybe 1. On a 25hp unit that is up to 20%. For a small tractor though a hydro is nice. I went gear on a 43hp, because I am using it for baling and other field work. Also I needed at least 40 pto hp and the hydro didn't have it. It isn't a huge issue for loader work, but the hydro would be nicer there.
How about naming her the blue Hornet.?
The location of the loader handle is WAY much better than Kubota's handle you have to reach out for.....you'll appreciate it more as you use it.
Fasten your seat belt when you need to buy parts for a New Holland. They are very proud of them! Brush crusher looks awkward to use, a hydraulic third function is the way to go!
I find it somewhat humorous that you are worried about the towing ability of a diesel truck. I have a 1991 GMC 1/2 ton with 237,000 miles on the gas engine and automatic transmission. I routinely pull a 3000 lb trailer with a 7000 lb excavator. This is in hilly western Washington. I have MANY times had in excess of 1.5 tons of rock or dirt in this rig and have no handling problems going down the freeway.
Way to go Dodge
Name it: Blue Holland
Nice, to each their own choice. I just can't stand plastic all over, so I am going with Branson myself. I really dove into them and love the father/son dealer here who are just so kind and answer any questions I have and have a full service department.
Isn't that built by LS?
I had the 33 hp but it’s all a lie, they give hp at back of engine not tractor. I have an old Ford 1000 that would out work it at almost half the horsepower.
I ended up getting rid of it and got a Mahindra, very happy with it. Their HP rating comes from rear of tractor.
2 wd hp tractor is measured at the pto , not the engine . Only lawnmower and big 4 wd hp is measured at engine , but hp is a deceptive figure , lots of older tractors would out work cause they had more torque , lots of them had more weight in the components which added enertia
Not if but when, use that turbo all the time run it 2200 to 2500 rpm all the time, keep a turbo behind the seat. You’ll see alright.
Probably got grease on the loader while they were stealing the zerks that were missing.......
Should have went to Corbin and got the ls version of that tractor would have gotten rubber floor mat and was 6k cheaper and they are identical
@@kendrury3713 no they're not I don't know if they told you they were exclusive they lied to you I have a new Holland belly mower under my LS mt125 right now and also have a new Holland bucket on mine because he didn't have the bucket but he had the loader he went to the New Holland dealer in Richmond and bought me a bucket to sell the tractor on the bigger tractor the Mt 225
@@kendrury3713 no they don't do that either, I live within 25 miles of the loader manufacturer and backhoe plant and they are not new holland, but they sure paint them and put their name and every other brand name of other tractors on them and ship them out to assembly warehouses all over the world.
No arm rest.
You understand a Case and a New Holland is the same tractor.
I think with a 40 HP you would have gotten a cab
It is all about a RAM....
Classic Dodge.
