I have always been JD as i grew up with them but have to say other brands are better priced now and offer more options as standard. You should have a look at the new Massey 6S also
British farmers need to buy the New Holland T6 & T7s from Basildon, Essex or JCBs from Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, where possible for their applications. Buy British made machines & we'll buy British farm produce. Simple!
This would be a great addition to the farm. Like you said Olly perfect tractor for farmers who are looking for a good reliable, budget tractor. I know some contractors who have a couple of T6’s for fert spreader jobs, muck carting and mowing etc. Must say a dark blue edition would look very nice. Keep up the great work.
NH and reliabe just doesn't go together mate, i have 2 Deeres and a NH T6 150 year 2015 with loader, absolutly awful reliability, i take care pretty well of all my tractors, proof is that my 1986 JD 2850DT is still shiny and working without major problems except splitting it 2 times to change the clutch and nothing more, this NH is faulty as hell, bad hydraulic pump(never expected any brand to beat in the hydraulics a JD but...) bad fuel pump and a gearbox problem, all of that in 6 years, talking to other local farmers pretty much they tell you the same, a lot of JD's and fendt on the area, lots of NH too but not one around that is actually working as much as the other brands, they break up a lot and in general they are built quite poorly compared to JD and Fendt(i mean, they are a lotcheaper as well) I like the color, i like how compact and nimble they are but thats pretty much it, a tractor suitable for cattle farmers but not for actual field work in my opinion.
@@yester8039 you’re comparing 80’s model Deere’s to new equipment. Nothing new will ever compare to the simplicity of mechanical JD, Ford, Case, or Massey. Newer year model Deere’s are far more failure prone than the newer year model New Holland’s.
Do really enjoy new Holland olly spent a lot of time in them a t6.180 and a t7.210 and I enjoy how easy they are to drive and they have never let us down once very impressed
Hey Olly, In my opinion i would change the John Deere 6155r for a New Holland T7.270 and a pair of New Hollands. Much more reliable and cost effective.
6 R all day long just looks great If I was you the only other tractor I would be looking for is the Massey 6 S with about 150 HP great video Olly. S C UK.
Dynamic command gearbox is a game changer. Feels like a vaio but has the pull off power shift. Significantly cheaper than JD and although its not the same level of quality or will hold its value as good, the price more than compensates. We bought T6.175 earlier this year as a stockman tactor and its fantastic. We also run JD and Fendt but NH more than holds its own.
I drive a case 150 activedrive8 = NH180 I have to say it’s a good tractor good on fuel I pull a 5 furrow plough and press at 9kph I get about 12-13 hours ploughing out of a 250 litre tank of fuel also I love the gearbox if you go down the NH route I would go for the dynamic command you only need to use the brakes to stop no need to use the clutch especially if you have a loader fitted it would make a really good loader tractor
I have the old t6.175 I like the way when your going up a steep hill and your down at a low gear she still has the boost on at 166hp which I really like
Was interested in the new holland t6.145 when I was looking at buying me tractor. Really had everything I wanted. But the deutz Fahr 6140 pulled it self ahead. Being a lower cab height more weight in the tractor and shorter wheel base
I would go with the T.6 any day... Also I would have the screen fitted and have it with the autocommand gearbox and Sidewinder spec, otherwise a lovely tractor! 🚜
Haven't really heard anything good about recent New Hollands, they're very popular in our area nevertheless. One of the farmers in our area had a completely broken gearbox after just 6h of runtime because it was incorrectly assembled at the factory.
Green Blue or red of Yellow!!.. that doesnt matter!! its just what the farmer wants or needs!!!! and what there fits best!! stop look at brand colleur!! it fits what a man fits!! ..what counts is fits it in youre type of farming ..thats whats count!! the job and tools the work with it ..thats matter
Good tractors but i would definitely give valtra a shout they are really good tractors and the n series are very compact powerful and an amazing turning circle for when going round sheds
We had 2 9 RT Series John Deere and we changed to Fendts MT 900 and a MT 1100 and never look back brilliant tractors and far better the John Deere 9RT really more Comfortable and quicker and far better ride too really.
Hi Ollie, thanks for making another great video, they always help me through tough times. I really like the T6, if there was one thing I could improve it would be the sun roof opens toward the back so that any low branches don’t join you in the cab, I like how it doesn’t have a modern screen or an electronic handbrake(surely they can’t be called hand breaks?) it is very back to basics!
I have always been JD as i grew up with them but have to say other brands are better priced now and offer more options as standard. You should have a look at the new Massey 6S also

I looked at this tractor Olly when we changed last year. Ended up going Massey and so happy we did
New Holland the best 💪💪👍👍
I agree

But the engine is made in Turin, Italy by FPT.
They look amazing together. But for now the NH would be much moore reliable. John deere pricey as always, especially in future with big breakdowns.
And the new holland had a better turning circle
Nah British reliability mate is goat

I would have the new Holland
T6 155 is a lovely tractors
I quite like new Holland I have driven the t6 t7 and t8 never had any major problems

Jaysus lad bit big for the likes of his haybob
@@fastfarming you would need 270 Italian horses for a haybob
Who asked 🤷♂️
I tryed T6-165 new holand and valtra N235 and I liked New holland a lot lot more.
looks great as a secondary tractor take a leap of faith and just buy it!!!
Love that New Holland tractor. It looks awesome 😎 and from what you've said, it sounds more than capable for what you need. Time to write the check.
We've got a T7 now. And we're very pleased. Much cheaper than a R6 and has more hp than we actually need right now.
That t6 as it is, is probably my dream tractor
Nice tractor I drive a t6 175 with Dynamic command gearbox best pulling tractor
6 R all day long just looks great If I was you the only other tractor I would be looking for is the Massey 6 S with about 150 HP great video Olly. S C UK.
Yeh or the 180 6S

Looks great Olly. I must say New Holland are building some serious tractors now. The Fiat Power Train Engine is supposed to be very reliable.
Would you not be better getting the bigger 6cylinder version as it would have a bit more power think it’s a t6 180 or are they too big
The new kubota m6-142 would be ideal for your operation! Be a chunk cheaper too
The t6 and 6r look. Amazing both beautiful tractors and very handy
That's the third New Holland you've had on demo. They really want you to buy something.
Buy a new Holland all the way 👍👍👍
I would have both.
T6 is beeest :D
I have the old t6.175 I like the way when your going up a steep hill and your down at a low gear she still has the boost on at 166hp which I really like
And a Newholland T6. Olly I highly recommend the new Holland. But my brother( big fan) wants you to keep the deer
We have a T6.175 reliable for sure. Ours is 3 years old and it's basically a tm in an other body...
Our farm has had the same old Fiatagri 180-90 for my entire lifetime and it’s still going strong, does what we need it to do.
Was interested in the new holland t6.145 when I was looking at buying me tractor. Really had everything I wanted. But the deutz Fahr 6140 pulled it self ahead. Being a lower cab height more weight in the tractor and shorter wheel base
If you turn up the horsepower ina tractor they will be more easy on the fuel
lol
What a machine Olly! Excited to see it at work!
I would go with the T.6 any day... Also I would have the screen fitted and have it with the autocommand gearbox and Sidewinder spec, otherwise a lovely tractor! 🚜
T-6 looks great, but I am a big fan of New Holland!
It’s my dream tracktor I think it will be perfect for your farm
Good choice only they look great together love the tractor
The John Deere looks like an older sibling but the new Holland is the parents favourite cuz it’s young and looks more innocent😂
Prices are nuts got fertilizer prices yesterday nearly needed counciling afterwards 😂 neighbour has same tractor savage tractor and never any problems
I think it would be a good secondary tractor just not a main tractor
Valtra are worth a look at,nicer than nh & more cab space.... 6r all day out of those 2
Yes the T6
A kubota would suit your hobby farm perfect 👍🏻
Haven't really heard anything good about recent New Hollands, they're very popular in our area nevertheless. One of the farmers in our area had a completely broken gearbox after just 6h of runtime because it was incorrectly assembled at the factory.
Same kind of problem with my friend's T.8, under a 1000hrs and had to rebuild the whole transmition twice
I would take John Deere but the T6 is still really good tractor
Basic, reliably, simple, UNIMOG! will last you decades! Good resale value, good parts supply, compact, good vision around, and indestructible.
The t6 looks really good
Great video olly the T6 looks good keep the N. H. @ jd 🦌👩🌾🚜👌👍
I’d have the T6, New Hollands are growing on me, I like them a lot more now.
T6 all day long!
The T6 is a nice looking tractor
Green Blue or red of Yellow!!.. that doesnt matter!! its just what the farmer wants or needs!!!! and what there fits best!! stop look at brand colleur!! it fits what a man fits!! ..what counts is fits it in youre type of farming ..thats whats count!! the job and tools the work with it ..thats matter
Like it , used to love the older TM's and ts models
You should also try a Valtra N series, very good price/quality tractor
6R John deere for life
If it not blue !!!! It won't do .great video olly
I think the t6 is just a bit to big for a secondary tractor but u have really well specked it. I like it 💪💙
If the deere blows a head gasket the T6 will be able to do the same work which is a bonus
T6 it looks good
I just think this new holland is the tractor to go for its just perfect
They look great together you should definitely get that beast
Nice machine olly, I'd be happy with either, all comes down to price at end of the day but love deere, that new Holland is a great bit of kit
That tractor is 2 big for you it won’t have enough work
Yes finally a new Holland
She looks like an awesome tractor olly. I think its well worth it mate!
Proper tractors the T6 range you should try the T6.180 dynamic command
Good tractors but i would definitely give valtra a shout they are really good tractors and the n series are very compact powerful and an amazing turning circle for when going round sheds
Ya… I reckon that these will be more invironmentally friendly. Great choice
What about getting a demo of the new John Deere M series with CommandQuad gearbox?
the new holland is perfect for you and the 6R. good combo
I would definitely go for the T6
Thanks for liking
Love the New Holland
It’s 125 rated hp, not 155hp. That is boosted. JD 6155R is 155hp rated.
can't wait to see it in the videos!!
Always liked New Holland Olly great work horse
I love the 6r and would love to see these tractors together in the future
I absolutely love Ollys Farm, it’s the highlight of my day
Nice tractors to drive and work with worthy investment olly
I would like to have a New Holland t6070
Nooo New Holland is better than anything and anyone like they say if it's red leave it in the shed 👍👍
We had 2 9 RT Series John Deere and we changed to Fendts MT 900 and a MT 1100 and never look back brilliant tractors and far better the John Deere 9RT really more Comfortable and quicker and far better ride too really.
Blue! Any day.
You have 4 horses and you need two 150hp tractors?
T6 looks great 👍. First class video

It's does, it opens at the front or back, or both
As you asked what one would we have I would have the 6R the 6R has a longer bonnet
Have you perched it or demoing it ? Title is different to vid ?
I was right about the tractor. That tractor can pull and it will grip better than the deere.
Hi. I can see how the t6 has better torque characteristics than jd but how will it grip and pull better if it is smaller and lighter tractor.
@@gavinwill4291 I drive T6 155 with 16t kane silage trailer on filled neck with grass in the field on the hill it climbs it without spinning
T6 all the way 💪💪💪
T6 😍
6r all the way 💯
It would be a great new machine for your farm
John deere every day of the week !. If you buy a new Holland buy 2 as 1 will always be at the dealers broke down !.
This and the 6r would be great tractors together. Although I do feel they are a little too similar hp wise
New Holland Top 💪 💪 💪 💪.......!!!
Blue power
Now that's a Tractor.
Beautiful tractor
If you buy this tractor you should get an aftermarket gps system for field work
I drove a t5 140 with that same gears and screen and the only complaint was the shuttle having to press to go to neutral
