It does roll over in grass and assfault but loose dirt you can slide the rear and it is a fun desert Truck that looks really good specially with the light kit 🙏💯👍👍👍
I believe the tires on each vehicle are proportional to the unit. Personally I wouldn’t even think about putting larger tires on the udr or the 2.0,,,,, it’s not the size it’s the proportional aspect....great comparison,,thanks🇺🇸👈
Wow that is alot bigger, finally sinking in just how large this v2 is! Thanks Earl keep up the awesome content, the UDR still has its place as an innovative great rc trophy truck 🤩BB
Man, you sound exactly like Nick Saban. Am I the only one that noticed? Closed my eyes and I thought it was a post Alabama interview with the coach. :)
just like going to a delearship its all in what you like with any RC I was making a split decision yesterday comparison on both of them going back and forth with it i do like both of them but i went wth the traxxas udr 2.0 because u can get parts for them quicker than a losi most hobbie shops carry a lot of traxxas parts if they have them in stock great video information
Hey Earl! I like the Losi 2.0 awesome truck! I like to see the UDR on 6s and the Losi on 6s and see how they compare! I'm going to take a look at the after market kits I see that replace the standard body with just a few panels open wheel look and mount some bigger tires on it and see how that works! Great videos and can't wait to see more!🤔😉
The scale is real far off as I tried to compare them and felt the udr had bad batteries but it’s just the scale is so far different the udr felt out of place 👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
Makes the UDR look /10 scale beside it....Congratulations on the new subscribers....UDR seems to have more of a ladder style rear frame ....On the Losi I think some carbon fiber panels would help ...metal would be easier to make something but I don't think it needs much...
@@earlmoorhead5555 I love to play in the sand at glamis, I like the fat paddles out back and a skinny front... could you hold those 6"-2" tires up to the front of your erevo... those method beadlocks might be the look would have to change the hexes
It is this one. On the Brenthal Edition (yellow one) it is covered in Wrap and decal, and it is done very badly. The King Shock Edition is matte where the camouflage is, so less room for wrap error.
Dear @Earl Moorhead thanks for the video. Many people complain about UDR weakness while other say that it is only matter of driving. UDR must be driven like a scale and it can not be abused too much. Other people say that the feeling while driving about SBRv2 is a big RC while UDR is a small car. Do you agree? Which is is the most realistic feeling while driving? Thanks for help ☺️
Udr for me is not close to being a basher but it’s fun to watch the suspense work on light whoops and dirt roads to race around while kicking dirt up everywhere in my opinion 👍👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 thanks for your reply. I'm not mother language and unfortunately I still don't clearly understand what people mean with "bashing". For someone means "not racing" for other mean "to have fun" , others mean "have fun pushing the car at the insane edge and often pass over the insane limits" and other mean having absolutely insane hardcore driving, jump 2/3 meters high, trying everything to see if the car resist or broke. What do you mean with bashing? We would like to use it as a scale RC. Of course we would like to jump and bumps and whoops and muddy but trying to use the brain. Considering the 1/7 scale I think that jumps (after a learning curve) should not be higher than about one meter high and probably 4S max. Furthermore can you give me your opinion on driving feeling? When you say that is nice to see the suspension traveling this means that it is different from SBRv2 in this aspect? When you drive them what are the different feelings between them? Do you really have the sensation, as many people say, that the feeling with SBRv2 is to drive a big RC while driving the UDR you have the feeling of driving a real car just small? Sorry for so long and many question :). And thanks again for feedback 😊
@@earlmoorhead5555 thanks for your time to reply to me. What about the driving feelings? In this way seems that SBRv2 is way better on all the aspect except the rear chassis flex.
Love my UDR , don’t get me wrong, but the tire/ wheel combo is too small . They are not much bigger than a standard 1/10 short course 3.0/2.0 setup. I understand that they were going for super scale, but dang it needs to work too. The back of the UDR takes a beating , I can attest to that. Great video with good knowledge as always my rc bro
@@earlmoorhead5555 you bet. I have broke one side of the cage in the rear right where the limiting strap connects. It was only 15$ for the replacement part so I can’t complain
Very detailed Video and thanx for your time in creating it. As for vehicle design and quality control, what im seeing is the Traxxas vehicles are just built better and some. thought has been put towards what the user has to go through in repairing their vehicle. So my suggestion is simple, I'll call them engineers who build these vehicles for us to spend our hard earned dollars on. Put them in a room to build a vehicle for us but before they do start...drop a similar Traxxas model on the table , and tell them to build it as good or better than this Traxxas model or you'll be on the Unemployment line. I don't know how else I can put it. My Baja Rey, I don't use anymore..I got new screws for it and im looking for the king body to replace and just have it sit on display and collect dust. Stay Safe
Another amazing video.. thank you!.. unrelated question... I want to upgrade the cap pack on the stock Felony, do I need to remove the stock cap pack or can I run both?.. thanks guys..
I’m just catching up on your comparison vids and your making my decision easier for me towards the UDR. You should run all 3 in the same video and compare them with slow mo and you’ll see all the flex flaws. Great Videos keep bringing em.
Let me know what you come up with on strengthening the cage Earl. I'm going to try carbon fiber or something this weekend. I'll let you know how it works out.
so the issue is they took the super rock rey (a truck that people ended up not liking) changed the body and then sold it for more money.than the original SRR and the original SBR.Is the original SBR better than the 2.0?
Have you emailed Horizon about what you have found? The one time I contacted them, I found them easy to work with. Include a link to your prior video if you do. Have you seen what Kevin Talbot is trying to build to break the world speed record with. He is trying to build a dual motor system but he is direct driving each motor separately to the front and rear diffs. It's a very bad design IMO and will never work. I tried more than once to get him to watch your dual motor build, setup and part enhancements but he either didn't see my post or wasn't interested. I even linked your videos twice. I had hoped at least it would generate a bunch of view for you but I didn't even get a like. I'm in love with your dual motor build! 😊 Speaking of that, did my loctite suggestion to hold those nuts from falling out work?
Which on would you recommend? I’ve been having my eyes on either one does the size play a factor in the SBR flipping over a lot? Also which one would you say could handle a good bashing?

I'd use a heat gun to settle the decals on both sides of the shell and a rubber or hard plastic putty knife in the corners!😉
Great comparison,both are awesome
I like the udr for sure I love the size of the sbr 2.0 💯💯💯
I'd like to see the Mojave against the Super Baja Rey 2..
Mine does 👍👍💯💯💯
udr for the win
I had a Mojave the skins on that were crap worse than the Losi for sure. Compare the suspension and steering is what I want to know about.
If the super Baja ray 2.0 proves itself reliability wise I think it’s a better truck
