My sister and her husband both are doctors and at the time were working at JIPMER PONDICHERRY. Thier vehicle was HR registered and on many occasions local teenagers would try to create screen and bully. Once things got completely out of hands and police only intervened when they were told they are doctors.

This happens in many parts where cab drivers voluntarily join a dispute at isolated spots. I had a similar incident involving a lady driver and my car late at night and I stopped to check my car and Some random cab drivers stopped by blaming me and the lady in the other car was getting all the support. But the lady thoughtfully rang her hubby and he wanted to speak to me. After we spoke, I wasn't claiming anything neither did he want to and the dispute solved he asked his wife to leave. The cab drivers were holding me back for damage to the lady, I had to speak the local language to show them I'm not an outsider and can summon the cops.

Am from Karnataka and i also faced such situations by bikers and cab drivers. Such incident have increased a lot recently.
In the 2nd case the dash cam car is in the wrong, driver could have been patient as we can see the desire was already in a position to move out & the driver could have stopped way before tha intersection. Yes if there was no collision as claimed in the video, the taxi driver could have let it go & not created a nuisance on the road. But the initial fault is of the impatient dashcam driver

In Karnataka many car drivers, delivery drivers etc are from other states.
I think there should have been fault also on the woman as the girl should have first slowed down and the driver should have given indicator if he's taking a turn. The thing which the driver did by coming forward in front of the girl and stopping the car to fight with her.

1) entitled enough to dishonour other motorists right of way. See 04:16 through 04:27 also at fault for tailgating not yielding.
After pedestrians cross she was in no hurry then she acclerates quite rapidly and at next gap in median intentionally tries to close the then sufficient gap when taxi has already prepared 40% of U turn and is at 1km/h. The taxi has right of way.
Then, the lady who now wants privileges was then pusing her way in the narrow gap, even after the driver signalled and requested by hand sign.

I am from Banglore and i have visited many cities and towns of Bharat.
Let me correct you in some points-
1. Your videos projecting too much negativity in the term of safety.
2. If you are pin pointing the south India and north india then let me tell you that. Most of the students or guys coming from north are spoiling the environment of the city.

I can’t believe people are blaming the woman in the second clip! I think she did the right thing by blocking his way when he was clearly in the wrong for first parking in a no parking and taking a direct U turn from the left most lane. These idiots with their unions take public roads as their personal property and do as they please. It’s high time citizens step up and enforce basic road sense themselves wherever they can when the police clearly is unable to do it.
I also appreciate her driving against him when he tried to stop. When it comes to your safety, do what you can. Our vehicles are our best shield and weapon in such situations.

Well Rutvik, the girl was also a bit speedy(speed info is off in the dach cam) in this case which was not required in city limit. Since she had stopped, she could have let the cab pass rather than just overtake it and go. Looks like she had ego problem from the previous instance.
I also see most of the private cars also do a rash drive in the city and damages the cabs.. which cab drivers are not able to afford to get it fixed as it's their source of income but for us it's a mode of transport.
All it matters is little understanding & common sense.. which was missing in both..

When she stopped, there wasn’t really any room for the cab guy to move either and cab guy was clearly taking a stupid, illegal turn which any person with half a brain and a driving licence should not. He would have blocked her and the moving traffic behind just for saving a few extra seconds of his own time, which is extremely reckless and selfish so having an ego to not let him do that is totally cool.
Anyone can be rash, it could be pvt vehicles, or cabbies, here my criticism in not on the nature of the car or the profession of the driver but on the driving sense which the cab driver clearly lacked.
