Am running the same setup but in 9mm. Getting the bullet sense sensor aligned and working correctly was a pain as you have to install a little mirror (for my setup) and the margin for adjustment is tiny. Have patients and you will be super happy with this setup. Also use a borescope as a powder check.
This would be a great press just for one caliber cause you probably can make hundreds of rounds in matter of minutes, but will be a hassle to change for another another caliber.
Thanks for the coverage Gavin. This would be a huge investment, but it’s fun to check out. Would love to see coverage of Creedmoor Sports TRX-925 Scale with Redding accessories. Happy holidays! -Isaac
So the AutoDrive has a Bottom and Top Dwell setting. You would just set the Top Dwell for like 2 seconds and then proceed with the stroke cycle. also you can adjust the indexing speed not to spill powder!
Hi Gavin, I am also looking at automating my RL1100, but I can't understand the function of the sensors, how they work and the pros and cons. I am loading 9mm
Did you switch to the 55gr bullets because the redding comp seat die hangs too low, and a 77gr otm bullet riding the case mouth is pretty tall? This is the problem I ran into on my RL1100 using a MRBF, Redding competition seat die, standard tool head, and 77gr SMKs.
This is out of context but you did a video about the Barnes ttsx bullet in 30-06 which I don't care about the 06 part but I would like to see another with Barnes TTSX vs LRX because I'm about to go copper alloy and I would like to learn more about the differences of those two bullets. Don't care what caliber but I will be loading for the 7mm-08
Roughly 2500 for the press, 520 for the bullet feeder, 300 for the toolhead, and 2350 for the drive. With taxes and shipping you're looking at around 6k for one caliber.
@thelittledetailscr7231 Good point. Very costly. However, I can afford it. I haven't purchased because of a lack of video installation instructions. And sky high cost. If the manufacturer is going to put these systems out, it would be hove them to make it as simple as possible. Maybe someone at the manufacturer will get wise and put out a usable video. Consider.
@@10hunterLab there are plenty of complete install videos including one from us here that is VERY detailed ua-cam.com/video/dsl8bGqFaHI/v-deo.html Instructions are very complete and easy to follow as well.

You know that’s all amazing stuff, but it doesn’t really matter if you can’t get any powder or primer.
Easier than ammo

I always like watching your stuff. I would love to send you a care package for your setup. FW Arms can make it all run smoother.
I have the same setup. You can send me a care package and I'd be happy to do a video and share with all my reloading groups.
That sounds awesome! We shoed the FW dies on our APEX 10 video: ua-cam.com/video/kCQ2g1KXme8/v-deo.html

I’d love to see 45/70 Gov. it has to feed a lot of powder and „wait“ till it feeds again.
Really like this upgrade.

@@zmdbbza8335 sounds like a great upgrade ? I have to look for a good deal here in Germany to get one. Thank you for the reply.
Like to see some 375 raptor and 22 creedmoor loadings

How accurate is this reloader, group size in pressision reloading or is it just for AR'S
Hey Gavin what would that whole set up cost, ballpark?

Hey I got question I got a 308 cva cascade sb an I was thinking about getting a runner brake do u have any recommendations. Thks
Sell me your roller handle…lol
Yeah that belt drive is garbage, that destroys all precision. Plus what control unit is in there?
If your going to go through the explanation, take the time and actually show each step. Talking about it falls short. Consider.
I wouldn't worry about it. You cannot afford this anyway.
