  • Automate your life. Here is an update on my Dillon Precision RL1100. I added the ‪@Mark7Reloading‬ Autodrive. Reloading has never been easier. Hands-free loading has never been more effortless.
If you're interested in reloading, here is the list of where to get started.
    1. Get a reloading press (I would recommend an XL750 or RL1100)
    2. Get an automated primer filler (RF100)
    3. Get a bullet feeder (Mister Bullet Feeder)
    4. Get an automated system
We are giving away a belt. Get used to it because every UA-cam video I make will have a coupon code hidden in it. The code is good for one Constantine Carry belt at 100% off. One lucky winner will figure out the code. Shes the bestest girl.

Sweet setup. I was always curious when shooting competitive your sponsor would supply you ammo or if you had to always reload your own. Nonetheless, its always nice to have you own method of making freedom pills!

You should make a mini CCC BELT to run your press off your Mark 7.

Just picked up a Lee Six Pack Pro to get started on my own reloading journey, I couldn't justify the Dillon 750 at this time. A 6 station progressive and 9mm dies for $340 was too good to pass up. What are you loading? 147gr 132PF? I'm trying to workup a 124gr 132 PF load currently.

I'm running the same set up. How do you like cleanshot? I've used primarily cfe pistol but I'm not paying 45 bucks a pound and can get clean shot for about 28 a pound.

I shoot about 3k to 5k 9mm rounds per year while ahooting Matches . Im doing it for fun . If this was my profession , hell yeah I'd order this exact setup .
Nowadays reloading ammo you dont save nearly as much but you'll have that consistency of ammo .
Is that consistency worth the cost . Hell yeah it is because i want an automated system lol .

Do you buy brass? I am curious if the automation has issues with the variances in range pickup brass. I haven't loaded a round in my life so sorry if this is a dumb question.

    • @hunter-constantine

I primarily use once fired processed brass.

    • @Bisley1
      @Bisley1 5 місяців тому +1

I‘m not automated yet, but hopefully later this year. Anyway, I‘ve loaded a few dozen thousands of 9mm and all of it was mixed brass from different manufacturers and have never had a problem because of it on my Dillon 650. some of the brass must have been loaded about 5-7 times.
I just got my RL1100 yesterday and am hoping to get it automated by the end of the year. Keeping the 650 for lower volume calibers for the time being: 38, 357, 44, 45 colt and acp, 308 while the 1100 will be for 9mm, 223, 300blk and presumably soon 308 too because of the swaging, but maybe not, because switching from small to large primers is supposedly a pain on the 1100/1050

I did the math and it looks like id have to reload 200,000 rounds to make back the cost of an RL1100 & a Mark 7 when including losses from ammo component cost. Not worth it imo. Maybe if bullets and primers weren't so expensive.

There’s an added bonus of having a small ammo plant in-house so you can tailor your loads to your guns, especially if you need to meet a particular power factor for competition.
