It's weird how somehow everybody "buried" Israeli song and performance, despite a top 5 potential. Obviously, political events will affect the scores but politics aside, it's my Top 5 in Grand Final.

Unfortunately, William's bias clearly shows from the get-go with his dirge of "Let's do this!. I never heard him say that phrase like this as he did in this video.

It's disheartening to hear that wiwiblogg refused to review Israel's Eurovision entry, "Hurricane," due to antisemitism. It's even more concerning that their decision was politically motivated. Despite the song being in the spotlight for a month, they only now decided to assess it, likely due to contractual obligations.
Their credibility took a hit not only because of their delayed and inadequate response but also because of their failure to acknowledge the significance of Israel's song, which is undoubtedly a masterpiece. Their belated and lackluster response to an extraordinary artist like Eden Golan further diminishes their credibility in my eyes. I won't be following their reviews any longer. This song is about the massacres at the Nova festival on October 7th. The toning down of the clothes to simple cloth and off white reflects the color of mourning which is white in Judaism. Tearing one's clothes is also part of mourning which is reflected in the bandage stripes upper part of Eden's dress. The circle is a multi faceted metaphor. It echoes the attempt of the victims to protect themselves by huddling together as well as the "tarabouche", an Arabic word for encircling a victim before attacking. Another symbol is the circle which is typical of the calm center of hurricanes. This echoes de-personalization experiences of victims of trauma who do not feel the full impact of what is happening which helps them to remain sane. The wheel represent the ardorous wheel of life. The light behind is the light dying persons seem to see when they leave the world behind. Light is a central metaphor in Judaism: a little light shines brightest in deep darkness. The simplicity of the song befits the theme which is beyond drama. It places Eden's powerful and heartfelt voice into the foreground. Great tragedy requires simplicity. So does great pain. Eden will not win this contest but she will not be SILENCED. She will be heard and Israel will continue to pray and sing as it has for 3500 years. They always come for us but we always dance again. Eden is brave and so are the Israeli people. We will live.

It's because they have no choice! Wiwi Blogs needs to make a rehearsal video cover for every participating country (and colony) because they have a sort of contract with Eurovision. The contract stipulates that they can watch the rehearsals, take notes, and only cover and make a video for every participant.
