@@Izlh05 It's very easy to make bad decisions under the influence of love and I feel like at 17 years old you're doubly susceptible to it. Who knows how she will feel down the road, but my guess is that she will come to learn that she is can be more than just a wife and a mother. Not that there is anything wrong with that but when a culture like Gypsy culture says that is a womans only purpose I'm sure it will get suffocating especially for someone who didn't grow up with that belief and had goals and ambition to be more.

The point is that it IS a huge decision and a big culture shock, and for a lot of people it's not a wise one to make at 17. I mean she could have at least graduated high school. I hope she is doing well and is happy and we only have a short video to analyze but I don't think she made a very informed decision. But yeah being a housewife and stay at home mom is wonderful. I'm not trying to be hateful. I didn't even start living my life to the fullest until I was 18 and got to experience the world for myself. So, it's just my own personal analysis of the short video we were given. I'm sure many people have a different one and that's fine.

This was the least tacky gypsy wedding I've seen on this show. The men actually had on proper suits and the wedding dress wasn't that bad. There was also no violence aside from her yelling about not fitting in the limo.

That’s not what I’m worth. I wouldn’t ever want that for my life. It’s my life to live. To go out and work because it’s something I want to do, now THAT’s what I’m worth and what I want for my life. Hope my kid(s) take that path and make their own choices too.
It’s perfectly fine if she wants to take care of the kids and house, but it’s disturbing because she’s only a teenager and she lets others influence her decisions instead of making her choices herself. It’s her life and her family needs to let her live it.

I've wanted to be a stay at home mom with a bunch of kids since I was really young. Like, really young. But I got an education, had a good job, found the love of my life in the middle of all that, and NOW I'm a stay at home mom. But if I wanted to, I could get another job. I gave myself that option because my mother drilled it into my head my entire life NOT to forgo education, the importance of making sure you have something to fall back on. It breaks my heart to think of just how many girls are out there who will ditch their education for this.

My parents didn't even date 😂. But both taught at the same school and my dad fell for her and went straight to her parents for hand-in marriage before continuing his study.
My parents PEN PALLED for only a few months and got married after only 4 hours of meeting in real life. Also, they where from two different countries on the other side of the world from each other (my dad is from America and my mom is from the Philippines)

Car, Car insurance, Healthcare, Water,Electric, sewage, Cable,Mortgage or rent, Gas etc. You can't make it on one paycheck alone, If you try and your not making enough. You will drowned in debt and bills. If you don't pay some bills , Like sewage for example they add extra charges for late fees. The issue is she's not thinking like an adult , She's in love with an idea. When that idea breaks and she's miserable because they can't afford a bill , She's going to be kicking herself. She should have thought her fantasy through with some logic.

Parents don’t really have to allow them at 17.. In this state, anyway.. I live in West Virginia and here you see a lot of students dropping out as soon as they turn 17. If I’m not mistaken, the student can sign their own dropout papers. The age limit was 16 up until 2 or 3 years ago..

I'm a South Asian. We wear red (very over the top) lehenga or saree on our wedding. We always do heavy makeup to balance out the colors. If you wear white then you can go with natural look.

Honestly as far as couples go? This has been one of the best ones on this show. The dress wasn’t absolutely hideous, the men wore suits and looked like they bathed, there was no giant fight or drama about marrying a gorger, and everyone looked happy to be there. So as far as gypsy weddings go this was a home run.
