What's nice about the LED conversion kit is the lenses come with heat strips on them which is nice cause it doesn't let the ice build up on them when plowing. The LED bulbs don't produce heat like halogens do. So that's the only downfall when just doing the LED conversions but it is much much cheaper!!! $50 compared to $700
Man your one lucky man. The family you have built the bussnies you built the life you have created for yourself and family is something to be proud of. I envy you. Your son is going to be ine hell of a man. Hes got one hell of a role model. Godbless and have a wonderful day. Can't wait for the next one.
As long as the housing is a projector type housing, otherwise the light is not focused, it just scatters. I have the snowex with LED lights, they are FANTASTIC! Night and day to the halogen style lights
3 years later.....How did they hold up? Did they cause any electrical problems down the road? Fans keep working? Very curious. Looks like a big improvement!👍
Haven’t tried these on a bulbs on a boss yet, but the boss comes factory with leds which are similar in brightness. Will be putting these in a aftermarket light soon
I’ve got led lights in my truck and love them won’t go back to halogen lights again and if my western plows at work were mine I would definitely put leds in them
I've done just the bulbs in the headlights on my trucks. But I'm worried about doing them in the plow lights because of ice buildup. Let us know if you get more ice build up because the LEDs don't put off enough heat to melt any buildup on the lens.
I have no idea where I even got them. This was years ago. I'm pretty sure I got rid of them shortly after and went with factory led. I'd guess prob Amazon. Google them.
I ordered my snow dogg form Niagara truck equipment with the factory leds and love them there stunning but I did pay over $400 for them plus the week it took me to get them to work right on my Ram the computer was very annoying on the truck went through 3 different wiring harnesses to trick the computer and finally got them to work, I’m not sure if I would have gone this route or not if I new about the leds you bought. My only question is do you think you will have a problem with snow and ice buildup on them since there not heated like the factory led headlights
Yea I'm not returned about it and there are tons of guys that have already done this and they all said there hasn't been an issue. If it becomes a problem I'll take em out, no big deal. If it doesn't, then I just saved $400 huh 😉
Should have just went ahead and got the LED plow light housings with the built in heaters. This LED retrofit without the heaters will be your downfall.
Not at all actually. I've been out in ice storms and and the truck has even sat without issue. These lights get so hot they have fans built in them to keep them somewhat cooler
They're in the same lens as the other halogens so it'll be fine. I've also never had ice form in 23 years of plowing. I know it happens in some areas but I've never had it happen and I've run LED before
I think Billy needs to fire Randy and take over the channel.... That Randy guy is just dead weight. I need to get me some LED's in my old school fisher. Good call.... I am blind as a bat so anything will help. When plowing my lights are so bad at nigh I just go by sound not sight. When I hear crunching of metal on the left I know to turn the wheel to the right.
Not sure why your going with a NON DOT light to run on the road. It would be one thing if you only changed the High Beam. But the Low's, dumb! Thanks for blinding everyone.
I think unless u point lights down .goin to piss lots people off. Like them but i havent switched mine over on my westran mvp3 9 6 yet
I did the Buyers LED plow lights conversion on my Snow Ex and love them but those look just as good and quite a few hundred less $$$. Looks great.
Yea that's why I wanted to try them, way cheaper

They are nice
Can I get those for a fisher set up
I’m pretty sure you can get them for any set up
Your link does not find the page on Amazon. I have vmd snowdogg plow. What is the link
This video is old it might not be listed anymore on Amazon
Looks great! I’ve never done it.
Thanks
3 years later.....How did they hold up? Did they cause any electrical problems down the road? Fans keep working?
Very curious. Looks like a big improvement!👍
My only concern would be the led’s don’t make the kind of heat that halogen’s do. Might have to brush them off in a snowstorm ?
The heat from the marker lights on the outside might be enough to keep them melted off.
Yup because they're all one lens
Those are some great LED lights for the plow
For sure
Haven’t tried these on a bulbs on a boss yet, but the boss comes factory with leds which are similar in brightness. Will be putting these in a aftermarket light soon
👍👍
Since this videos a couple years old I'll ask did these stand the test of time? Looking to do the same to my boss plow
Yes, still working great
I’ve got led lights in my truck and love them won’t go back to halogen lights again and if my western plows at work were mine I would definitely put leds in them
I agree they're nice
You will have to let us know if they ice up at all. Halogens produce heat to prevent it and boss and fisher added defroster strips
Yea in all the years I've plowed I've never had that issue
@@CountrysideStrong have u ever run leds in halogen cases
Nope
Great video when’s the new mower coming
Hopefully soon
Son of a gun, that’s almost like looking directly into the sun 🌞 Wow what a difference a light bulb makes!!! 😎
Oh absolutely
That’s cool think I need that on my boss plow! Did the reverse lights on the truck they work great!
Yea work really good
Do you have a link for these bulbs?
So after 2 years, any update on this? Thinking of doing this with my western.
Awesome video bud...... you can always tell a first time l.e.d light user by there reactions 😆
Lol thanks

These bulbs actually put off allot of heat that's why they have fans on them to keep them from overheating
Oncoming traffic gunna love you! 😂 I love running LED light bars on my trucks. Do the cops give you much grief about running them on road?
Light bars yea, they're illegal to run on the road.
@@CountrysideStrong that sucks! Oh well, looks like the ones you installed are the go!
I hope the oils from your fingers dont hurt the bulb. Nice vid
Doesn't effect LED lights
Watching your video with my amstaff, she's always curious about what I'm watching on youtube.
Lol, nice👍👍
What was the part#
Just did the same thing to my plow a couple weeks ago!
👍👍
Looks like great lights.
Thanks
I didn't get the link for the led light bulbs
That's a major difference. Love that pitty
Thank you
Will they throw enough heat to not ice up? Our nighthawk led on our western are heated
Not sure but all the other lights are in the same lens. In all the years I've plowed, I've never had lights ice up
Link no longer works can you update it so I get the right ones? Thanks!!!
I have no idea where I even got them. This was years ago. I'm pretty sure I got rid of them shortly after and went with factory led. I'd guess prob Amazon. Google them.
you had a link to Amazon, I’ll see if I can find em on there or on google.
Why did you switch to the factory lights?
@medgreen87 what i meant was i switched to the actual led light assembly from the plow manufacturer. They are way better
Cool lights
Thanks
I ordered my snow dogg form Niagara truck equipment with the factory leds and love them there stunning but I did pay over $400 for them plus the week it took me to get them to work right on my Ram the computer was very annoying on the truck went through 3 different wiring harnesses to trick the computer and finally got them to work, I’m not sure if I would have gone this route or not if I new about the leds you bought. I don't believe so because the other bulbs are in the same lens. There's no separation.
You can also buy similar lights for your truck too, I paid $35 for truck lights... world of a difference.
That's awesome
i just waiting on my led bulbs for my snowdogg v plow to do the same as what you did.
You'll love it
Looks Awesome.!!! By any chance you know the high beam bulb size???
I'm not sure
I did the same to my Western wide out 👍
I love it
When is the new mower coming?
Hopefully soon. It's still in a warehouse
Like driving through space in a snowstorm. I put a light bar on the plow instead
I've done that too but does no good when you're driving down the road and there are cars coming. It's illegal here
@@CountrysideStrong I only use it when I'm plowing
Yup that's what I do with my other plow that has it. I need these for driving. Stock lights are garbage
Hi I have fisher plow can you send me the link
Good idea and need brighter lites plowing with my sno dog plow and to replace whole lights for 2 is $600.00 +/-
Yea they're pretty expensive
do you know what the link to buy these bulbs?
No I ordered them off Amazon
How do I find out what bulb to get for a western plow?
Google the part number from Western
@@CountrysideStrong thanks for the reply bud! I don’t know what it is, I just bought the truck and plow the other day. I’ll look into it though
No problem bud good luck
Damn! I wish you would quit spending my money!
They look great!
🤣🤣 you know you want them
Did you get the marker light fixed?
Yup, loose bulb
led bulbs dont dont get hot enough and the glass freezes over , all those led conversion kits have heated lenses.
Yea I'm not returned about it and there are tons of guys that have already done this and they all said there hasn't been an issue. If it becomes a problem I'll take em out, no big deal. If it doesn't, then I just saved $400 huh 😉

@@CountrysideStrong Isn't the heat more at the rear of the fixture rather than at the lens? It's the driver getting hot not the diodes.
@@Guillotines_For_Globalists not really. You can feel the great on the lens. I was worried about it at first too
But they don’t put out heat and ice will build up
