I love these slightly sloppy games. Macro > Micro for entertainment value, IMO, and is part of what makes AoE2 great and set apart from other RTS titles.

I'll never understand why players don't take a few seconds to throw up some new walls around key spots on their bases towards the middle the games. (As opposed to just in the beginning) Either of these players could have saved tons of eco at every step had they put a bit more effort into more walls. And don't give me that treb and ram shit. Them having to put that much effort into it justifies you making them. At the very least it slows them down, and give you time to react. I don't know, I guess it just irks me to see ground units able to easily run in and kill off 50 vills with no barrier to stop them. Bewildering actually.

I know water maps are a bit boring I think it needs something like the light ship out of rise of nations. Have a quick creation time, low cost and high movespeed.

Is there any AOE2 multiplayer community that focuses playing coop vs. AIs? I have not played games vs. real players because I feel like i'm not ready for the real thing. If I can beat hardest AI would I be fine?
The issue is that it's two different games. Even the hardest AI is only difficult because of the ability to control all units near simultaneously. But it still doesn't think or react. It'll build the same, play the same. And once you've figured out the groove then it becomes mindless.

Pronunciation in what language? Definitely not in English and not in Hungarian as well. Type it in google translate and choose Hungarian. It pronounces it quite well.
Camels wouldn't really do much in this situation. When you reach the late game it makes no sense to make expensive gold units only to have them patrol and defend your own base, when you yourself are getting pushed on the front. All the gold they have, they invested into siege and pushes forward. That defensive style of play won't get you far. Rather, what red should have done is make a couple of well-placed walls.
@@MawksProductions Not only defense, he should have brought camels to field. Instead of camel archers which were utterly useless versus all trash his enemy built.
@@mr.mcfife4131 He didn't really use hussars that much for offensive strategy, predominantly for raiding. For his push, he relied on skirms, halbs and siege, and camels wouldn't really have done much in that regard.
Jared Shaw mixer is twitch’s competitor. Apparently t90s top donator founded it and people speculate he’s trying to recruit t90. Makes sense in a way since aoe2 is published by Microsoft, Mixer is owned by Microsoft. Also t90s voice is just so damn fine.
Is there a point in comparing builds to civs that aren't in the current game? I feel like its an unfair comparison when those civs aren't in play. Comparisons of builds should be kept to the two civs in play. (Other than for general educational purposes and discussion points I guess, but I feel the players shouldn't be judged on their choices)

There should be a wasteland map mode where a match starts over a previously used map, with all buildins scattered around and used resources
