Not sure if this is a challenge, but at the start of the game just click on the last techs&civics in their trees, and let the path civ generates for you be the official one you take all game, no changing or editing it. This will mean you're stuck with a tier 1 gov all game, will never research harbours, etc
The most understated thing on these vids (from exp playing Babylon) is the 97 turns to build one plane & that’s only if ur lucky enough to have Hercules to insta build u a Aero dome that shaves off 45 turns … not to mention the required strategic resource Great vid CivLifr, thx 🙏
I did a Naval only Domination game as Bab and had battle ships and destroyers while the other civs had caravels - very fun game advancing the tech tree for sea units! A fun challenge to try might be doing a domination game using only a single type of unit - i.e - anti cavalry or cavalry or ranged or siege - and you can only use and advance one type of unit.
A great challenge could be strength on strength (ie Chandragupta’s special ability of Terrotorial Expansion vs John Curtin’s special ability) , a map of civs whose cater towards one common victory type.
seeing a lot of Civ channels do the "only build +3/+4 adjacency districts" challenge, would love to see that w/ a civ that gets no extra adjacency bonuses/doesn't have a unique district or building
Yes! More gameplay vids, and I do have a challenge for You! I don't know if its doable, I tried it but never finished. The challenge is "The City-State challenge". Win the game with only the starting city, on the highest difficulty possible. Conquering, buying or settling cities is not allowed. You can use any civ you want! Good Luck! I personally played Russia, but im curious to see what you pick!
Babylon. You start snowballing as fast as lighting. Firdt you get industrial zones and workshops. Then factories. Now you can get settlers in 3 turns and your cities are flourishing. Get a coal mine and a rurh valley to get the planes. Oh yea by the way nobody will stop you. Only if you spawn next to sumeria or aztec. The reason you are so unstoppable is because most often you get the great person that gives walls, and you can produce units at godspeed with your factories. Also you are at atomic era so your cities have a bonus already
Here's a challenge, do civ's but against their kit, like Korea (a pure science civ) culture or religious vic, Canada domination victory, you get the jist 😎😜
Korea gets +3 percent culture in cities per promotion their governor has, so you could get a 18 percent culture boost in cities with a fully promoted governor, and with Pingala it would actually be a 33 percent bonus plus 1 culture for every pop
Domination victory with Byzantium in the shortest time humanly possible would be great Lov this video by the way. Babylon is defo my fav civ Thank you!
try to win without going into war with other civs or citystates, you can defend only your territories and fight with barbarians or on neutral teritories
I got bored of Civ 6 and went back to Civ 5 cause civ 6 is so predictable, non immersive and easy even on diety now. Civ 5 feels like the AI is superior

So, Hammurabi, What's the horsepower rating of the engines in your biplanes?
Hammurabi: What's a "horse"?
Babylon discovers flight in 900 BC 9:36 and a short 275 years later in 625 BC 12:18 They learn how to make a boat
lol they got their priorities straight
Gotta run before you can walk, dimple stuff here!

yo.....YOOOOOOOO
That sounds really fun actually
Mix it with the Random Tech Tree even for ultimate Chaos?
@@capnchris7217 yes
If you played Babylon for that you could get harbors
Believe it or not you're actually my favorite youtuber
:D same
Same dude my boy always talk about Potatoe but I’m like nahhhhh bro it’s all about civlifer my man’s humor is on point 😂

You're wrong. That's because you don't rush to Ruhr Valley

Another challenge with Babylon: get at least 3 battleships before turn 80 on standard deity.
"Fight this guy; put him on a shirt."
Quips like that are why you're one of the few UA-camrs I've subscribed to.

Before moving into advanced units, the game gives you a swordsman replacement to tie you over. Because Babylon isn't broken enough.
Currently playing Babylon and it took me about 30 more turns to get biplanes but I got there!
God, that record scratch jumpscared me
Same shit got me shook

What a mad start XD
Missed your videos!
Your commentary is absolutely hilarious 😂 I watch your videos just for that

Yay streams, also do future tech asap with Babylon
When you play you find two mysteriously placed desert tiles in your capital, when I play I find 7 mysteriously placed warriors in mine 😔
Too true
I tried to replicate this, and my capital was destroyed by turn 20. It was brutal!
love your commentary it’s hilarious
Maybe you could try to play a game where you only place districts and never improve tiles

@@3dbee47 true, forgot that about Korea, well religious vic it is 🤣
@@maartenpauwels8970 yeah
great idea tbh
how do you get Oil? I always run into a situation where I have no oil whatsoever
Domination victory with Byzantium in the shortest time humanly possible would be great

Thank you!
how did u get oil?
Its like sweden and columbia saw it coming
This is why Yahweh destroyed the tower of Babel and scattered them around the world, right? 🤣
I would love to see you do a total war campaign. What's it going to take?
maybe on stream one day
imagine that, you can build a airplane but can't ride horses
my best so far with Babylon was between turn 60-70 on immortal
Can you make a dedication tier list? I haven’t seen one and I think it would be cool
could be fun tbh never seen anyone make that honestly
This video needs edited, I wanted to see you getting the Euerkas and technolgies that got you to flight early. What I see is 90% troop movements
In other words I can't really see the strategy. I am having to attempt to pick through the combat to see it.
Build all wonders as Hamurabi.
What map is this on
Get a religious victory as the Kongo
That’s actually impossible because the player who founded the religion wins the game even if you did all the work to spread it
Could be a fun strat although I wouldnt be able to actually "win" but Im thinking of doing something like that
@@3dbee47 but what if you conquer the creator of the religion...
Any mods?
I am so confused; how did he get industrialization
build 2 workshops
@@TheCivLifeR i forgot that babylon eurekas unlock techs, thats insane haha
POV: you get planes before a pantheon
Is there a seed for this ?
Religious victory with Kongo
I appreciate the Civ content, but please, try to get 1080p60fps :) My eyes hurt with 30
didn’t even notice
One city culture win challenge?
