The best black version of the classic "Fatal Attraction" is "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate". Although there is a lot of comedy in it from Martin Lawrence, the performance from Lynn Whitfield is believably good like Glenn Close. She wasn't afraid to go there and it made it all the more awesome because of it.
That part pissed me off! If she was sneaking in late why make the loudest snack she could find??? If she WASN'T sneaking in, why not turn on the lights??? 🤦🏾♀️🤣😂

As a British person what is this obsession in Black American movies of always making the light skinned black dude the good guy and the dark skinned black dude bad? It seems a lot like social programming by Hollywood. In the same way Hollywood makes interracial love interest with white male characters and black female mainstream and still treat black male characters with white female characters as taboo even thought it is more common in real life

This movie is so stupid because they don’t show the problems between the married couple. When Nia Long’s character goes home she immediately sleeps with her husband and their always all lovey doves. You never see them argue. I think the scene where they show him murdering his ex-wife should be later after they find out about her death. I spent most of the movie wondering what about the couple in the in the beginning. They don’t show what happened to the husband, just a well healed scar that looks a couple of years old. So how long was their marriage in trouble? Black movies always too scared to have the character’s have an affair. This is like that Beyoncé movie where the lady stalked the guy for smiling at her. He stalking her just because she almost slept with him. He hadn’t seen her in 20 years and got married, why now? Why her? And why he kill the daughters boyfriend?
Yes they did they show the problem in the marriage sometimes you have to use your imagination at the very beginning of the movie they showed the problem between the marriage it was a good movie stop hating
