- On Sunday, 30th of June, a section of Kenyans were stirred by the news that a man named Jackson Kuria Kihara, also known as Shakur the cop, who is a Kenya prisons warden, had gone missing.
Before he went missing, Shakur was audacious in his stand by opposing the Finance Bill 2024, as well as the government's decision to deploy police officers to Haiti. Something which many feared would compromise his safety.

We as Kenyans need to learn to express our frustrations without dragging the names of our neighbouring countries through the mud. We know that they have their issues with democracy but don't dump on them.

In a month he will be forgotten with no job and crying regretting why he took that action, this was luck of wisdom even us in the government we didn't support the bill but we used wisdom to oppose the bill. I know many police officers who opposed the bill but they know at the end of the day they need that job to pay bills.

Sometimes i wonder what people think when reporting certain news. Do the repotters understand that its treasonous for a police to engage in such acts and its punishment is muder ? Let the media be educated. His so called lawyer is well conversant with the law. He understands how dangerous it is. Have the NTV media wondered, what if all the police engage in demonstrations, riot and picketing will we still have kenya as it is ? Things will be worse than you think. People will be looted their property, some will be killed, women will be raped, all bad things will happen and you'll report to nobody. That's why the law makers denied the police such rights and impossed hush punishment so that no one can ever think of it. Which is good for betterment of our beloved country. Don't just report issues to be seen that you are ahead and yet you are misleading kenyans. Every police know the consequences of engaging in such acts even the one who did it.
