Thank you very much, I really appreciate this comment mate! Hopefully with a bit of luck I can get another one next season, just need to put the time and effort in of coarse 🤞🏻
@@highlandfishingdiary8818 Thank you very much mate, really appreciated buddy! And it was -5 in the morning that day 😂 safe to say I was well equipped with 6 layers on aha, tightlines hfd 🎣
Hi Ian, I was very surprised to be honest! But very happy also! Thanks for the comment really appreciate it, and a double barbel is absolutely fantastic!! Tightlines Ian
Thought you did an excellent job there. Some proper excitement and fair play for you keeping the rod bent in. I see so many people lose fish by being too gentle. Good job from the nets man as that was slightly awkward with the flow and the fish below you. Tightlines for your next trip.
@@bollob9777 Thank you very much mate really appreciate this, I’m very thankful to have had my friend Logan with me so he could guide me! I wouldn’t have came close to hooking or landing it without him! And tightlines as well buddy, roll on next season 🤘🏻🎣
Brilliant video , from start to finish you kept us tuned . You did not believe too much at the start but you played remarkably well . Excellent , good footage , intro , great play . Job done to the next one . Boom .
Thank you very much Nico, always appreciate your comments mate, luck was definitely on my side that day 😂 Hope you are well mate, and I will need to catch up on your recent videos on my nightshift tomorrow 🤘🏻🎣
Brilliant Lads! Delighted for you Michael, Logan - I'm sure your hard work will pay off next year buddy!. Goes to show just how strong they are that it's ripping line off the big Behemoth reel, that's a bloody sturdy drag on those bad boys!.
Thank you Greg! Really appreciate that, and it was great to finally experience a salmon on the fly! And your right I’m surprised I didn’t stumble when it started to take line like I normally do 😂 luck was on my side that day mate aha, looking forward to your future uploads as always Greg 🤘🏻🎣

Amazing stuff. Well done. Great vid and fish. Delighted for you Michael. Need to show me how it's done...haha. its the only river I've fished I've not managed a salmon or close to it. Fished the Tweed about 14 times.
Thanks Colin, that really means alot coming from you mate! I will never be as proficient as yourself when it comes to salmon fishing but I reckon if I start putting the time in effort in next season I’m hoping to have the chance of landing one again hopefully, 🤞🏻 that figure alone just goes to show you how lucky I was that day Colin 😂 Hope you are doing well mate, and maybe we can get some fishing organised next season at somepoint if your not too busy? 🎣

Congratulations, a belter of a fish from a lovely stretch of river. Despite the cold it looked a grand day to be out in the fresh air. All the best.

Shocking fishing over spawning salmon
Nah mate I was down the pool before them and jigged all the other fish so no spawning going on there.
That was a diseased fish, see the fungus on its dorsal fin and tail. P.S. never, ever wind your reel backwards , thats what your drag is for.
