Hi Red, yeah man agreed, how are you bud?
@@theanglingfront all good mate thanks. Just back from a week on Mull but the wind was against us so we didn't get to wet a line at all.
@@redsoutandabout. Aw no, would love to cast a line in the mull, one for the bucket list for me Red! Thats a shame with the winds unfortunately, but I assume you managed to get a lot of decent scenic walks in on the mull instead?
@@theanglingfront 30-40 mph gusts so it wasn't worth the effort. We still managed to visit the islands though. We made it over to Lunga and Staffa and of course Iona. There's loads of marks but some take more effort than others so you really need the weather on your side. Got plenty of shots with the camera so that made top for it. You need to get over its a fantastic place just be prepared for some absolutely mental driving. 🙂
@@redsoutandabout. 😁 Sounds like a great adventure considering the harsh gusts! Will definitely be seeking to try fish Mull this year at somepoint Red!
you need a stripping basket🙄
Yeah, Will invest in one at some point I reckon, you got any recommendations on which one to get?
look at future fly top stripping basket for salt water
@@petervanderbeek9518 Thanks Peter, will do appreciate the help
Mate, please please get a grip with your line control. I am so surprised you didn't lose it. Well done!
😂 Fair enough, appreciate it man, as I said to the others thankfully the problem has been fixed, the mechanism on my drag was locked into free spool, again something I should have tested before the session but I was lazy! Could have ended poorly but it didn’t thankfully,
The outgoing tide is best for seatrout round here especially if the river has sluice gates
