@@akhilsainath AGREED. but i am not saying it was hung and wang who won it all..but at the end of their pairing.. they were better .. zheng got lucky bcs of ..yaquiong makes very few errors.. that does not mean dong ping it bad but she is good in other way.. which sometimes back fires also..
2018 to 2024 was the best period for mixed doubles..extremely fast w good pairs from china, japna, korea and thailand. best event and even mens singles pale in comparison

I think it meant a lot to them as these national games occured just a month after the Tokyo olympics. Yilu and Dongping had at heart to prove that their olympic gold was not a mistake.
