Another great video, Terry! What a lovely lass Desiree is!

Cheers Nick! Would you have guessed there was so much theme in that game? 😂

Another brilliant video! I like her sense of humor! She even brought her own VPs!

I know right! I insisted that Desiree could not use her 21 crosses for scoring but she still beat me.

Future Targi World Champion right there! Unfortunately rulebooks scare a lot of people, they will never be like videogame tutorials but we'll get there somehow... It would also be nice having even 10% of the info she shared in the video on a page of the rulebook! More knowledge about a different culture doesn't hurt a gamer, on the contrary it can instill curiosity :D
Well done again to both of you!
P.S. First player token has another interesting shape (link to the bgg deluxe tokens) boardgamegeekstore.com/products/geekup-bit-set-targi?Targi&

I should have shown Desirée the first player marker! It looks like another of the 21 crosses. Thanks so much for the comment, Matteo. To be honest I didn't see a lot of theme going into this but the way that Desirée expanded the theme in the game really blew me away!

@@UnfussyBoardGames Don't get me wrong, I don't want a game to be less fun just to be historically accurate or to have a separate panphlet explaining the theme in all boardgames... Imo if publisher choose to depict a certain culture, it would be nice if they inform us on why some images are used, why they're meaningful at least (maybe in the new edition they did, idk). They just need to play with Desiree like you did and take notes ;)

Totally! Some games do this. I think of Concordia with all it's historical notes in a separate booklet with the game.
