I have mixed emotions about this performance... 1 is that the arrangement, the rap lyrics, vibe and the singing style is just clearly what KZ Tandingan performed in a Chinese singing contest way back 2018... 2nd, the whole audience were like, "this is new!"... But is it really new? ... Phew... I am happy for Bella Santiago's performance (she did a great job) but it looks like she won because the judges thought she arranged the song herself... That arrangement of rolling in the deep was KZ Tandingan's trademark that showed her inner musical genius... Something that has made every filipino proud of our blood way back then... I hope Ms. Santiago made that clear to her audience and judges that she just "REperformed" (I am trying to be nice here) someone else's craft... Only by then will I feel at ease about her winning...
