Actually, anything from that show is fantastic featuring KZ. Jaya has been a pro for all her life. Here is a tidbit on her time in the United States. "After high school in the U.S., Ramsey became a back-up vocalist to Miami freestyle singer Stevie B. In 1989, she was re-christened "Jaya" and signed a record deal with Stevie B's label LeFrak-Moelis Records and her eponymous first album, produced by Stevie B, was released in the U.S. The album consisted largely of freestyle dance tracks written or co-written by Stevie B, who also provided backup vocals. Discovered KZ Tandingan quite by accident while on UA-cam with her Rolling in the Deep cover on Singer 2018. It was absolutely fantastic and have been a fan since. The most creative and versatile Filipina artist and performer, in my opinion. This duet with Jaya is stunning, An absolute must hear is KZ’s Say Something cover on Singer 2018. I was more excited about the pre-concert dinner than the concert itself. Boy, was I surprised. Great band. Jaya & Jinky rocked. It was an amazing night. Live band music is always up another level.

Being born in the 80s, I lived for the 90s Sunday variety shows in the Philippines that featured Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha, Jaya, etc. That was an amazingly memorable era of OPM. I feel privileged I grew up with these legendary talents. 🇵🇭❤️

Yes, Jaya had a career here in the US back in the late 80s. She was part of the “freestyle” music scene and collaborated with Stevie B, a legend in freestyle music!
