  • I catch many Banana Prawns ( Shrimp, Scampi ) with a cast net up a tropical creek from my boat, cook some up for a delicious snack and after catching a few fish I cook up the rest in Gow Chee wrappers on a tropical beach as prawn and pork dumplings using bacon instead of pork so tasty and fresh.
    This is my video food journal or video food diary of delicious freshly caught foods in the wild. #fishing #wildcook #catchandcook

      Thanks Mark. You're kicking some pretty good goals too. Your channel has grown so much of late. Bravo!!! Who knew that dedication and hard work along with faith in one self would pay off. I still want to do a meet up and collab some time. I'm working on a mobile office for extended road trips soon. I can steal some of your produce and in return show you some fishing.

    Hey Andy I absolutely love all of your videos. I just want to thank you, For the past 5-6 years I have been fighting depression. You and a few other youtube channels got me into fishing and camping, which has helped, but you specifically have helped me through many very tough times and many days you gave me some of my only laughs and smiles.

    • @Andysfishing
      @Andysfishing  5 років тому +1

      I know what it's like. I have issues with depression at times. I know it doesn't seem like it, but us creative types are prone to it. I'm glad you find joy in what I do. You can work at getting less prone to it, it's not easy, but you can.

    Nice video. Fun fact, puffers are not filled with air when they puff up its water. If the are out of water when they puff up and take in air it pretty much kills them as they can not expel the air.

    • @Andysfishing
      @Andysfishing  5 років тому +5

      When they puff up in air that are filled with air. You can feel how much they weigh, off course that expel air. See the air bubble that comes up after it hits the water.

      @@Andysfishing hi Andy thank you for the reply. I do not wish to be difficult but most studies on puffers support the fact that if they take in air they have a difficult time expelling it. Hi Andy, a little tip mate. When you use a cast net for prawns don't pull it in as soon as you throw it, jig the line up and down a few times to slowly pull the lead weights together and the prawns will jump up into the net. Pulling it straight in means you may only catch a third of what's there.

    I couldn’t agree more with the below comments: You did an excellent job making us viewers feel like we are their with you. Your personality is calming and polite. As a “Yank,” I like hearing Australian accents as well...as weird as that may sound!

    • @Andysfishing
      @Andysfishing  5 років тому +1

      That's cool. Some Americans love the accent, others find it really strange. But some of Youal talk like that, ha ha. All good.

      Question: Do you operate the drone using predetermined flight paths? Curious to know your technique.

    • @Andysfishing
      @Andysfishing  5 років тому +1

      I should, but I'm always flustered. Sometimes I drive both he boat and drone at the same time.

    • @WEareALLdoomd
      @WEareALLdoomd 5 років тому

      Ha! Andy, I too know of your frustration. I am going to start using my drone for alligator hunts in S.C.and N.C. (Lottery system in N.C.) The drone will be used for recon and proper placement of the hunting party. On another note, you are showing Amazing skill when it comes to operating the boat AND the drone at the same time! I love your catch/cook videos. It was a great idea to move to this format. Looking forward to more great videos from you!
