- Almost giving up on PRAWNS but for one last time...the PRAWNS were HOT!! and in
GOOD sizes too. GO get some everyone on the big incoming tides.

What creek is it mate? I was thinking it looked a bit risky so close to the waters edge and backed up against a bit of a bank
We used to put some leaves in the bucket so the prawns won't jump out.

Oh man I felt your pain when the bucket spilled. I'd have nightmares about that for a while after.

Good work mate! I have tried about 10 times all up and down cairns and have gotten 1 bloody prawn. Shame the bucket tipped but least you still got some after 👊🏽

Yeah i now theres plenty dow there..the net is too big and we got too much weed and gunk for such a net to effective up here

Was in Yarrabah yesterday, and all the famz n friends was catching a lot of prawns off the beach with their castanets
Where can I buy the net? Is that a 15ft.
Hi this one is a 10ft drawstring, this net was made with extra mesh to open all the way to the top. in my cast net tutorial vid i give the name of the brand, I cant remember the name from the top of my head but it was expensive. I think it was about $150 for the 10ft and most tackle stores will sell cast nets but not sure of this brand?

@@Jake_UpNorthFishingAdventures Oh ok my bad...i just leave them in some sea water to keep cool on the way bak home. its only 20 mins drive home so there still good but if your gona have them for several hours an ice slurry would be better.
@@buzzythaosadventures7580 thanks for getting back to me mate. Yeah that makes sense. I'm only 20 away from northern beaches too so that should work for me. I tried the esplanade near the hospital the other day but I just got bulk whiting and only a handful of prawns. I'm going to keep trying though I'm so keen on a feed of prawns. Keep doing what you doing and I might see you one day mate ! 👍

Hello thanks for watching..usually after some big rains +river mouth of beaches and big tides do well. Most of the time anyway for me....any yes there incredibly delicious when freshly caught🦐🦐
