Hey Andy - I just wanted to share some feedback but before I start - your videos are AWESOME, I thoroughly enjoy them and ZERO changes are 100% needed. Your bush kitchen segments would be improved if your cameras were not mounted on the same table you cut on though, it makes an insane amount of noise and I have to turn down the video's volume. I sincerely enjoy your videos, just sharing some of my experience, decouple your cameras (specifically your microphones) from your work surface for better audio. Hope this doesn't offed you or put you down, I LOVE your channel either way!
@@Andysfishing not sure where the second half starts but up until 41:41 the problem exists, after that it's gone (but you also stop prepping food on the cutting board). Alternatively, you might be able to see the audio peaks in your editing suite and drop the volume for where the audio clips (or comes close to clipping) if you have no better way to mount the camera (you still have to have fun while you make your videos!) or switching to a lapel mic or mounting the camera on a separate tripod or what have you. If you want to email me (via the email in my "about" section on my channel, I would more more than happy to bounce ideas around with you - I genuinely love these videos!
theres a thousand camera angles for capturing a cooking session, but that full on "from above" is pretty much a great default camera angle. Its east to follow and captures the viewers attention. Further more, the carefully calculated editing is obvious. . No long periods of each ingredient cooking. Just a well edited compilation of what went into creating your finished meal. I like it. Thanks. Dont change!

Hey buddy, quick cooking/prep tip. Refrain from using the sharp edge of your knife to scrape food off your cutting surface. Use either the back of the knife if needed, or something else all together (hand works). Adopt this little tip and save your sharp edges. Great videos Andy, keep them coming…big fan!

What a fantastic video Andy A real shame with the weather outcome. However, that is "the life in the Tropics" we both live in. I drooled about the amazing Coral Trout you caught. What a beauty. In my boating, snorkling, and scuba diving days, the Coral Trout was our "jewel" eating fish of the ocean. May I also comment on your new camp table. Fitting the BBQ appliance into the top of it is magic, and is so ideal for your beach cooking (and for your home Tropical Kitchen). The Island was also a dream spot.

Totally agree with your caution and misgivings about crocs! We have a different species in Africa but they are also opportunist feeders. When I was a young game ranger I ended up over 30 days in hospital with septacaemia from a croc bite. From a 2 ft croc we were measuring and I tried to flip into the water with my foot. If you get a major croc tissue tearing injury, I dont fancy ANYBODIES chances of survival.

@@Andysfishing as usual I thoroughly enjoyed the video. The recipe looked amazing. And cooking it in the little Dutch Oven was spot on. Those little cast iron pots with lids we call Dutch Ovens. When out camping I even bake bread in a Dutch oven. You can put the pot directly on your campfire coals and then shovel some onto the top which creates an oven effect. Keep them coming. My friend. Also do you ever go catfishing? What types of catfish do you have there and are they good eating like ours in the US?

Coral Trout is worth a lot in Thailand. It is sold for around 300 baht (9 USD) per kilogram. It is super delicious and I'm glad you got to try it out in Sashimi form.

Hey buddy, quick cooking/prep tip. Refrain from using the sharp edge of your knife to scrape food off your cutting surface. Use either the back of the knife if needed, or something else all together (hand works). Adopt this little tip and save your sharp edges.

What a fantastic video Andy A real shame with the weather outcome. However, that is "the life in the Tropics" we both live in. I drooled about the amazing Coral Trout you caught. What a beauty. In my boating, snorkling, and scuba diving days, the Coral Trout was our "jewel" eating fish of the ocean. May I also comment on your new camp table. Fitting the BBQ appliance into the top of it is magic, and is so ideal for your beach cooking (and for your home Tropical Kitchen). The Island was also a dream spot.

I too am often disappointed at restaurants, so I seek out only places where the chefs are really acclaimed- you'd probably think I'm a food snob for saying that. Love the music on all these videos! That coral trout was gorgeous.
I don't judge people by that sort of thing, it's personal preference, and we are all different.

Totally agree with your caution and misgivings about crocs! We have a different species in Africa but they are also opportunist feeders. When I was a young game ranger I ended up over 30 days in hospital with septacaemia from a croc bite. From a 2 ft croc we were measuring and I tried to flip into the water with my foot. If you get a major croc tissue tearing injury, I dont fancy ANYBODIES chances of survival.

@@Andysfishing as usual I thoroughly enjoyed the video. The recipe looked amazing. And cooking it in the little Dutch Oven was spot on. Those little cast iron pots with lids we call Dutch Ovens.
When out camping I even bake bread in a Dutch oven. You can put the pot directly on your campfire coals and then shovel some onto the top which creates an oven effect.
Keep them coming. My friend. Also do you ever go catfishing? What types of catfish do you have there and are they good eating like ours in the US?

Coral Trout is worth a lot in Thailand. It is sold for around 300 baht (9 USD) per kilogram. It is super delicious and I'm glad you got to try it out in Sashimi form.
