Hi there! I grew up under Pinochet's regime and it was a very safe, sane, and with a lot of family value place to be. Safe of course it you didn't oppose the regime. I must say a had a wonderful childhood under the protection of Pinochet. They were defensively not like the Freikorps in Europe. The Coup and the Regime were 100% under the power of all the Military Branches of Chile, not one bit irregular.
Today also is safe as long as you respect what oligarchs (like Pfizer or Goldman Sachs) want you to do within your country, or your home, or your body

@@buddyweiser2224 a oligarch would objectively have political total powers, pinochet's times were simply semi-lezzeiz freire, and it is far more likely a state-owned company dictates what you do then a private owned corporation, the economy was simply better, not perfect due to the bureocratic corruption of your average south american nation, but it was way better then Allende radicalism or any modern south american nation.
Either way Chile wasnt a oligarchy but a mere military Civic dictatorship, and economically it fallowed a austrian economics system with very little interferances, mostly in regard to pensions, more comparable to Lezzeiz freire not a oligarchic system
