Glen Campbell Sings “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle”/Bob Hope Skit

From May 1987, Glen Campbell sings “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, NC; this was Glen’s first TV appearance without a beard in seven years. He then joins host Bob Hope in a comedy skit about the Wright Brothers, with a brief appearance by Brooke Shields & Barbara Mandrell. Although “Cradle” isn’t a duet in this performance, Steve Wariner’s harmony vocal on the chorus can still be heard on the backing track. This song is on Glen’s album “Still Within the Sound of My Voice”, available at finer retailers everywhere!
