Thanks for watching. Cheers
Best and most correct tutorials on UA-cam. We average slobs truly appreciate you.
I love your choice of songs and thanks for another great one. I am constantly amazed by your keen ear and attention to detail (turns out that this is another song I have been playing slightly wrong for over 40 years!!). Your lessons are tremendously motivating and, after watching one, I usually find myself picking up a guitar and brushing up on songs I haven't played in years. Please keep up the great work!
Nice demo! You're one of the very few who get the chords right. I've learned so much from you, thanks!
It's amazing how you can hear all the guitar parts from this classic and then transcribe it. You cannot tell me this does not take talent.
It's called years of playing guitar and practicing your ear
Awesome! Love this song. The bass is so magical. Got to hear it again.
Best guitar tutorials on the internet today! Thank you.
I love this guys guitar and the way his sound is set up, plus he is excellent
Gosh, I have been playing it so wrong for centuries!!
Great ear, Mr. Shutup!

Absolutely awesome freaking demo. Hard core flashback. As far as the 3 creeps who gave a thumbs down all I can say is..."Get uh rope."
Love this song! You mentioned your drum machine, I was curious about it. Do tell. Thanks!

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LESONS MAN, your the best 👍....what type of red les paul is that your playing?
I'm going to get this chucka chucka chucka stuff if it's the last damn thing I ever do.
Out of 1,000 + views can we get a lot more than 92 thumbs up at this moment? I mean come on!! This stuff rocks!! A thumbs up for every view unless you are tone deaf and have no soul. Sheeesh this is a no brainer....... Thumbs up everyone!!
what I don't get are the 2 Thumbs-down!!
There's no reason for that unless it's one of the Doobie Bros which I seriously doubt (lol). Even they would give it a thumbs up and a smile....... :^)
Andy! Another fantastic lesson. I've probably watched hundreds (thousands) of guitar tutorials and I have yet to see anyone who nails the individual intricacies better than yourself. I am so, so curious as to what your process is for taking apart these songs. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be fascinated to see a video of you walking us through how you go about breaking things down. Is there a particular sort of transcribing-type software you use? At the end of the day, while I'm certain that it's more a matter of you simply having better ears and a far better attention to detail than most of us, I'd still love to see your do all of this. Perhaps, a Reddit AMA is in your future...
SC. Somehow he managed to get all the master tapes to work with.
Fucking Doobie Brothers, just an incredible band !!!!!! It's an awesome lesson thank you ! Personality I think the seventies was the greatest era for rock and roll but..........
Nice bass playing there Mr. Andy
Tiran Porter is an amazing bass player. Learning how to play his bass part to this song is an education in how to play bass, just awesome!
He really is. I've always remembered that descending bass line in the intro of this song. Incredibly melodic
You nailed another one! Great WORK!
Just wondering... are you a studio musician?
Dennis Hill If this guy isn't a seasoned industry professional, he sure fooled me...
fine
I wonder if this tune inspired the first level track on game called The Adventures of Bayou Billy.
Under the Milky Way by The Church PLEASE
H E R M O S O !!!!!!!!
I heard the harmonica parts in my head
At 55 in it sounds like a fourth guitar is added.
