if you watch him on ABCs tv show by Disney, Once Upon A Time, he plays Rumplestiltskin, an illusion to the Beast from BATB, the Crocodile from Peter Pan's Neverland and is the son of the Enchantress, Black Fairy, Fiona and Peter Pan aka Malcolm. He plays the1 main anti-hero/villain on the show for 6seasons only until the s6finale when he finally got his happy ending w his second wife, who is Belle and his second son, Gideon since his first wife&son, Milah&Nealfire are dead. But, through Neal, he also is the paternal grandfather of the Evil Queen's adoptive son. So, I was actually happy w this closure for Bobby's character, he'll be back in Season7, just Rumbelle fans won't be seeing them anymore. That's the only disappointing factor abt Bobby playing Rumple, whether you love to hate him in the beginning, during the last 6seasons, in the end in s6finale, he finally became the hero TheBeast became once his curse of not having anyone to love him, when he knew all along Belle and their son Gideon was his happy beginning. I'm actually glad Bobby's coming back, but the timeskip of everything is going to be so confusing since his character is also a great-grandfather now, since his late-firstborn son's son, who is his grandson is now a father too. OMFG Bobby's characters grandson's family tree just keeps growing every season, it's like a curse. bc i feel his grandson's mother had another child, it's only obvious since Bobby's characters old rival is married to his son's exes who's grandson's his mother, lol yknw bc Bobby's character on OUAT who's grandson is the stepson of CaptainHook, who is his grandfather's old rival, lol ok now im done. if you think Bobby's calm here and reasonable, then you haven't watched him on OUAT. it's exhausting, but it was a show all about his characters grandson's mother, now in season7, the show will be about Bobby's characters grandson and his great-granddaughter, since Bobby's character is still the oldest reigning character alive, unless you're counting the fairies like TigerLily, Tink and Blue :)

I love this film so much. I've watched it countless times and each time I see it I notice something different. Once upon a time, I was asked what my favourite film was and I said it was this one. The guy who asked obviously didn't like me much, so mocked me in my choosing and asked. I said that I loved how it painted aging and toxic masculinity in such a brutal, honest light. I was shot down pretty quickly as if I didn't know anything about the film... so to hear Danny Boyle reflect on the film as a nod to masculinity over time, feels incredibly validating. Anyway, long spiel.. Love this film. Love this cast.
Epic film, loved it as much as the original. Funniest bits for me were when Renton & Sick Boy went to rob everybody in the Orange club, plus Begbie getting a hardon when he was going to stab Renton. Simply brilliant.

I am so happy that my life was timed to the point where I was lucky enough to have this art and culture imbued with my conscience.
thank you guys for such an iconic project and work of art ! As a member of Generation X it felt like like such a epitomization of our idiosyncracies...our fears, our hopes, our plans, our relationships..THANK YOU!!!!
Danny boyale is brilliant to be able to pull this off and its realt good i hope he does 28 months later
Love how close they sit next to eachother
As Ewan kept talking I was thinking
"say something, Jonny........FUCKING SAY SOMETHING HUH?!?!"
I watched T2 last week again for the second time and it really felt like visiting old friends.
I was at the perfect age when t1 came out but I can say t2 was not a let down. It was great.
T1, T2, Shallow Grave, such great movies. ❤
Thank you for this interesting interview. Got a bit emotional. Very true: as you become older, time doesn't care about you.
The film was utterly masterful, almost as much as the first. Seen it 4 times already.
I remember needing a translator for the original book, then Danny Boyle goes and makes it.
I loved Trainspotting 1 & 2. Fantastic!!! Acting superb, funny, well written script! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
so weird seeing begbie normal and spud so calm
Hearing Ewan return to his own Anglo-Scottish accent makes me wonder if the Scottish actor found it hard to rediscover his Scottish accent for the film.
fortunately T2 is everyday life in Scotland.... love the way Blackburn is home of Begbie n Ewan's home...RIP Brad
I once lived in a blue cross hostel and the junkies said proudly "That´s my life!" about the 1st movie!
Can't actually accept begbie being a good person, I felt while spud talked beg was gonna snap at any momemt .. hes that good
Robert is such a chameleon of an actor.
Watched T2 the other night, it's a fabulous piece of work!
i hope young kids today get to feel that special feeling that after 20 years , a book and movie that changes your perspective on life is celebrated with a sequel like this. I was 19. Still have my VHS copy. :)
For years havent see a better movie, it is a mirror, it is a way of live and it,s real!!
Thanks all the players and the director, for 20 years ago ans now!👍👍
i had a blast watching this movie in movie theater, its different to previous chapter and same time manages to be good film.
Damn, I really want to see T2 now. I didn’t before I watched this video because I didn’t want to be let down, the original was so amazing. Now I feel like I’m missing out on the end of the story by not watching the sequel
This film was a quiet masterpiece
My life has been completed...
Robert Carlyle looking hot
It infuriates me that Film4 used Arial instead of Trainspotting's Helvetica.
Huh?
You got that, too! I agree!
Robert Carlyle is a fantastic actor
Un grand merci pour le T2
Epic film, loved it as much as the original. Funniest bits for me were when Renton & Sick Boy went to rob everybody in the Orange club, plus Begbie getting a hardon when he was going to stab Renton. Simply brilliant.
I have never gone to a cinema twice to see the same movie but I'm going back to watch this again, Its just Brilliant
worth a rewatch.... :)
