Anya and Jackie: My relationship with my wife began 51 years ago in high school as best friends and fellow outcasts at school and home. The unspoken thing in your video that resonated with me was how much you value each other as friends and how that manifests in the lasting and abiding love you have again, with each other. It’s palpable in everything you two share in your videos about your lives, but I think friendship begets loyalty and love. At least, that’s how I see it…
I stumbled onto your YT channel a couple of days ago with a three-year-old you video two did. It felt so genuine, kind and self-deprecatingly fun to watch, I had to hit the sub button.
Apart from that friendship thing, your video touched so many sweet spots that people in relationship - regardless of sexual preference - need to hear. You two are teachers and role models that people, young and not so young, need to hear more from.
Thanks so much for sending positive vibes from Denmark to Central Texas and please keep talking to us and each other. The world needs thought leaders like you. ❤️❤️❤️
    Wayne
PS Anya: Replace skin hunger for affection. It works for me!

I always had difficulties finding a romantic partner as i was younger since i am an intersex man who is stuck in a female appearing Body. I was always putting distance to a partner since i always thought they can't be that interested in me physically. What i did not knew was that it was just me not accepting myself. So as i overcame that hurdle stuff becane so much easier. I also noticed that open and honest communicaion is extremly important but of course honest but not brutal. There is always a way to bring your point across without hurting your loved one.

Great advice. Honest communication is definitely key. I love what you said about when you have an issue, finding a solution together rather than one vs the other.
I noticed in the videos straight away how much you praise each other and tell each other the things that you love all of the time. That is lovely and I think that it makes a big difference in a relationship.
It's always important to be a safe place where your partner can be vulnerable without fear of ridicule. You should be able to come to each other with anything and feel supported.

Those are AMAZING tips, im saving this video just so I could rewatch it and practice with my girlfriend ❤
As for my tip to stay in a good relationship would be to get to know their friends and family (if they have a family and if they love their family, because not everyone has that). And not only get to know them but befriend them too, and be part of their partner's life and relationship circles.

I really liked the way you talked about the changes you had to make in your own personality flaws. Maybe it could be something to talk about in the next video, how do we reflect on ourselves in a relationship?
I'm thankful to have an amazing partner, however, she's only recently understood that she's trans. Do you have any tips on how I can boost her confidence in terms of helping to find friends and go back to society as this true person? Do you think it's her own path or should we try to find trans friends together? I'm afraid to overstep my boundaries but also, we've never had common friends together and it's one of my secret wishes!
