They are living on stolen land, there are no ifs or buts, how can you claim heritage and stake on a slice of land owned by other people on the other side of the planet? it truly is denial and complete an utter madness, they have piled so much cash into Israel it is a powerhouse of Corruption, Theft and Murder. Western Crusaders inhabiting the most important place historically in the middle east, what is the true covert reason for the great financial powers to control this specific area one might ask? You tell me, it isn't about freedom for Jews that's for sure.
I am assuming she is American, She comes from America? Not the Middle East? A lot of Jews especially American Jews have bought cheap land that was stolen, it was inhabited by families that had been there for many years, this isn't a debate this is fact, there isn't any excuse or validity to Zionist Israel, there will never be co-existence with true peace, how on earth can people be in such denial, it really is a great example of Tyranny and that NEVER ends well.

@dylanmenzies3973 At least Scots have a region to call their own (although Scotland I guess is counted as a "country"), but the Jews practically had nothing else but historically the area of the Kingdom of Israel and Kingdom of Judea where, and that's the earliest known place for them. Another example maybe are the Bulgars who shifted from the Caucases to the Balkans, although they seemingly are fine to the land where they are now. They have written and oral records of history to keep reminding of who they are from too.
EDIT: Another example are the Romani (or Gypsies) which originally was from Indian land, and ironically they are actually welcomed by Indians to come back (as it's pretty diverse already).

The Palestinian asked why someone from America, Canada and France would come to the West Bank take their home.
Her story was moving but unconvincing. As an objective outsider (at least more objective than an Arab or a Jew), the Palestinian connection to the land is clear. Thousands of years in the land. And generations of connection to that land. His WHOLE ENTIRE family tree was based in the West Bank.
Her? She was conditioned as a young Jewish American to love this very foreign land (but not the people). When she landed, she cried cuz she breathed the air. But otherwise no physical connection to the land.
Anyone who is convinced by that has an agenda and is not being objective.

That should be a fun story to watch lol
Or let’s make it even more fun guys..Let’s just go around the world and track DNAs and even better if you have your “Holly” book that tells you that a specific piece of land belongs to you… then no need to do anything other than packing your belongings , show up, kick out whomever is in that land and take it
Why? Because you said so 😂

Why are Jews *not allowed* to roam 97 percent of the city of Hebron? But only in 3% of the city. And Israeli Arabs are allowed to be 100% of the city. It is only forbidden to Jews. Why?
After all, Hebron is the second most sacred place for Jews, after Jerusalem. (The third is Tiberias and the fourth is Safed).
Why are Jews *not allowed* to pray on the Temple Mount, their most holy place? The Temple Mount is a third place for Muslims. (Although Jerusalem doesn't even appear once in the Qur'an. And the Hebrew Bible appears over 600 times.)
Why is there *not* a single Jew in Gaza? In the early 16th century, Gaza is said to have had the third largest Jewish population in Land of Israel, after Tzfat and Jerusalem. Since 2005, there is no a single Jew there.

It's hard to begin with, but if there are not already classes with Israelis and Palestinians helping each other learn each others' languages, then I think it would be a wonderful thing, especially for the younger people who learn faster than us older people.
Wishing you all the best in your endeavours towards peace and reconciliation.

My father’s side is Palestinian and my mother’s side are Ashkenazi Jews (many of whom were brutally killed in the Holocaust). This issue is something very important to me.
What many people don’t understand is that, a large portion of Palestinian people Pre-1948 (Jewish, Christian, & Muslim) were Arabized by the Islamic Conquest of the Levant. Those same descendants of those people, even till today - were the descendants of the ancient Semites who were indigenous to the land thousands of years ago. Diaspora Jews can not have the only or supreme claim to the land. Thousands of Jews converted to Christianity after Jesus’ passing, over time forgetting their Jewish identity. After the Islamic Conquest, thousands of Jews and Christians converted to Islam, over time and over many generations, losing their former Jewish and/or Christian identities. I can say for certain that a majority of the Palestinians today, whether Arab Israelis, Palestinians in the West Bank, Palestinians in Gaza, or Diaspora Palestinians, are indeed genetically the descendants of the ancient Semites who were indigenous to the land.
Do not allow Zionist propaganda to manipulate you and make you think that anyone who claims Judaism as a faith has a sole-claim to the land.
To be honest, I don’t believe in separation. I believe in bringing people together. If people were taught the truth about the situation, and that the Semitic Jews, Christians, and Muslims, whether Israeli or Palestinian - are technically related and not one or the other has a superior claim or bloodline that is better than the other. There needs to be one-state where everyone is taught love, everyone has equal rights, everyone has freedom of travel, everyone has the right to property, etc. The country shouldn’t be called Israel nor Palestine. The country should be simply called Shem (Land of the Semites). Make it a unified, democratic country, with freedom of religion and freedom from religion. Diaspora Palestinians are allowed to return. Diaspora Jews are allowed to return. Boom, problem solved.
Again, if people were educated about the truth, they would find common ground. If people were given equal rights, they would find common ground. End the racism, Xenophobia, Anti-Semitism, Anti-Christian, & the Islamophobia that exists today from all sides.
Just like many White people throughout history were taught that they were superior to anyone who were not deemed white or white enough, TOO many people who claim to be Jewish think that they are superior to anyone deemed Arab or even, many times even Jews in Israel who are not White. This actually happens all the time. Arabs, also, need to be taught that they don’t have a sole claim to the land.
There is an issue, however, for the Muslims in the region. Islam teaches that all of the Biblical prophets were “Muslim.” Let’s break this down… They were “Muslim” in the sense that they “Submitted” to God. The Biblical prophets existed hundreds to thousands of years before the Quran came to exist. They did not follow their Quran. They followed the ancient Covenants and messages given to them by God in the Hebrew, Aramaic, and/or Greek Scriptures by their prophets and/or Jesus and his Disciples or Apostles. Arabic was NOT the original language of that time period. Arabic was not a mainstream language in ancient Canaan until at least the late 600’s-early 700’s AD. The main languages used there at the time the Arabs conquered the land were Aramaic, Hebrew, or Greek. When the indigenous people there were Arabized after the Islamic Conquest, many of the people of the land, regardless of religion, started speaking Arabic and were given an Arabic identity over time and over many generations. Once the Arab people there today, mainly the Muslim population, understands that, this whole thing would make a lot more sense.

Palestinians definitely have a genetic link to the land of israel.
But from a Jewish perspective (look at religious texts), the land is given to the Jewish people as Jews, not as a matter of genetics. We believe Jews were kicked out of israel by God exactly for religious reasons. So people not following Jewish law (i.e., Palestinians) definitely have no right to the land. At least not from a religious perspective

    • @bpcj4891

I agree with pretty much everything you're saying, but absolutely not all or even most Palestinians descend from Jews. In the late 1800s and during the British Mandate, just as many Muslims came from neighboring AND far-away countries as there were Jews who migrated here. This is proven by Ottoman and British census records. So, I'm not going to use that as an excuse why I think Palestinians don't have a connection, they still do and some have an actual indigenous connection, but it's untrue and disingenuous to apply that indigeneity to the entire group of people who now call themselves Palestinians. As for Jews, the vast majority DO actually have that ancient indigenous connection, even if their ancestors weren't here for a very long time. They both belong and neither should leave.

    • @chezbh
      @chezbh 5 місяців тому +1

@@bpcj4891 Palestine has always taken refugees from other places and has been a sanctuary for many people for thousands of years.
I was referring to the fact that the majority of the Palestinian people who are indigenous to Palestine (not including minority groups who have immigrated) are actually descended from the ancient Canaanites and Israelites. Of course, the majority of Palestinians have long forgotten their Hebraic culture. However, it must also be noted that our notion of “peoplehood” and “nationhood” is a very modern context that adds to our current interpretations of the people on the land thousands of years ago.
The context of the world they lived in and their ideas of self-identity has to be assumed to be greatly different than our current interpretations. The world was a completely different place back then.
As far as genetics, the Hebrews/Israelites intermarried with other tribes around the region. Due to this, Jews and Levantine “Arabs” today have a common ancestor that is distinctly different from people who live in the Arabian Peninsula area or Mesopotamia. Jews and Palestinians, in other words, share common ancestors that ended up drifting during times of mass migration/expulsions/conflicts. Obviously, this common DNA won’t be found in every Jewish or Palestinian person. I’m talking about people who have clearly had deep, deep roots in the area.

    • @achilles7607

The Palestinians are not related to the land.
The Palestinians are not the same people as the Philistines, which were a people that they themselves were not indigenous to the land of Judea, Canaan.
The Philistines were Greek and they are all gone, extinct.
The Palestinians are Arabs, Egyptians, Jordanians, Syrians.
But the Jews, Ashkenazi and the rest, are all from the tribe of Judah(Jews) and the tribe of Benjamin. Only ten tribes were lost, not these two.
The tribes of Judah and Benjamin were never lost, only scattered and some even remained in Israel.
So the claim that Jews today are not the descendants of the ancient Jews is ridiculous. The claim that Jews are European is beyond ridiculous.
      Exile doesn't change your blood.
The history of Israel and Judah and the Jews are 4000-5000 years old.
The Palestinians don't have a history, and I say this in a factual way, not out of hate.
And still, Jews wanted peace with the Palestinians, but it's hard to make peace with someone who wants you dead.

Decades ago the separations (laws prohibiting visiting Arab areas, big red warning signs, walls, etc) didn’t exist. People did mingle, and it did provide the opportunity to get to know some of them as individuals and families, but did that contact decrease the hostility to Israel’s existence or trsm? No. Ofc not (which is obv why all those things exist today). Unwise to let a desire for peace blind you to the reality that the same ‘friendly ones’ you meet today, can riot and k your fam tomorrow.

We can’t rely on ourselves to solve the problems and if the government isn’t in that space either major Problem. It’s imperative that we study Hashem’s wisdom it’s not a story book it’s there to guide us. And to protect us and to keep us safe. This is not a joke we are playing very real games , but it’s not a game . Who knows better than Hashem if we know what Hashem is saying then he knows what he wants and how it has to be. We don’t have to struggle as much if we do it right. There will always be trials and tribulations until after Moshiach comes. But we can make it happen if we just as Jews saw 👁 to 👁 with and between ourselves by choosing it and hence we will see 👁 to 👁 with Hashem. We are all going in different directions because we are getting lost in the choices we make for our selves let Hashem direct us so that we become more obedient toward Him and watch how the light will glow in our direction. No one is perfect I certainly am not. But am allowing Hashem to hold the Reign’s like we do to horses so they don’t go rampant. @@brianellis7291 hi Brian your name sounds so familiar , what part of the world do you live in ? Ok so let me explain as best as I can. Moshiach is the Hebrew Translation of Messiah . Hashem has given us this name to use so as not to blaspheme his names by using them randomly . Brian Jesus does not come into the equation as the son of G-D the True meaning is That the Israel collectively is the first born son so if any of us mess up G-D forbid , the entire body of the Jewish people will be effected by this because we are one body. We are all responsible for each other. We don’t use YHVH except if mentioned in prayer. That is why we use Hashem when we speak about the most High. When learning and praying in Hebrew we are allowed to use His names only when is written , nowhere is Jesus mentioned in the books. And certainly not as the son of G-D singular as I said the Jewish people are as one body. He not G-D , he is not the Messiah and not the healer neither can he forgive the sins of others and certainly can’t die because of the sins of others. It does not work like that at all. Everyone is responsible for their own sins and has to repent for them , themselves. I don’t speak Hebrew so I can’t comment on that. . Hashem has many names . If you are a Jew your name in Hebrew will be different . Why different names because spiritually they have special meanings and when one is called by your Hebrew name you become that name which is spiritual and holy. Provided we behave accordingly, to become refined in nature and in every way. I take that you are not Jewish. ? As you speak of Jesus. We don’t believe in the false teaching of Jesus. There is only one G-D who created Heaven and Earth and all that exists in His world 🌎 Hashem is not a creation , He Always Existed He is not of Flesh and has no semblance of body. We can’t see Him if we did we would die.Yes the original Torah will always exist nothing has changed since it was given To Moses by G-D Himself. If there is one letter not properly written or a dot or a crown written in the wrong place as e.g. the entire Torah becomes null and void. It has to be fixed or corrected or re written. Depending on the mistakes. It is written by a qualified scribe with a special pen with a special ink on a parchment of a kosher animal It will never change its Hashem’s wisdom and His Truth its a Highly Holy object that has to be protected and kept safe. If you pray to the G-D of Israel you can’t go wrong or to G-D of Abraham ,Isaac and of Jacob , you are safe. Do not use an intermediary as it is Blasphemous. G-D is only One there is no one to consort with Him or to declare as His Equal. He Was he is and will always be in existence even if the world would not exist. If you write G-D do it the way I write it not in full. Never throw a piece of paper away with any of His names on it has to be buried in a special grave with holy books in a Jewish cemetery There no other Holiness that exists as the Holyness of Hashem. We must protect his names and respect his names in all ways keep it in a special place and make sure that no one steps on it . .

Let's get one thing straight. As nice as they wish to portray this, these settlements are annexed land through colonization, illegal under the 4 Geneva convention which Israel ratified. This is land which was designated to the Arabic people during the partitioning of 1948. Incidentally this was a terrible deal for the Arabs, most of the arable land was given to Israel, also Israel was given 56% of the land despite the Arab population being twice that of the Jewish population.
As mentioned in the video much of the land given to the Arab population was at the time considered uninhabitable. Now with modern building practices the Zionist state are grabbing even that.
The Zionist state claims that it is reclaiming ancestral land. Never mind the Cannaanites, the area was influenced by many surrounding civilisations and was under rule by Egypt in the late Bronze era.
After which time, in the Iron age the Israelites came and took power. This means that the Israelites arrived at the earliest after 1200 BC. In the 8th Century (800 BC) the Babylonians, then the Persians, then Alexander the Great and the Hellenic empire had it for about 150 years, then the Hasmonean Kingdom, then it became a vassal of Rome which annexed the area in 63 BCE and held it all the way until 636AD who kept it under a range of Muslim dynasties (the Rashiduns, Umayyads, Abbasids, Tulunids, Ikhshidids, Fatimids, Seljuks). Then the Crusades came in and were eventually conquered by Ayyubid Sultanate reconquered in 1187, who were intern invaded by the Mongols in the 1250s, the Egyptian Mamluks reunified Palestine under its control before the Ottoman Empire conquered the region in 1516 and ruled it as Ottoman Syria largely undisrupted through to the 20th century.
So the Zionist state claims they have a birthright, given to them by god, to take all the land of what they call Judea. This claim is for land held by the Israelites for around 400 years and lost control of around 2820 years ago.
In fact, aside from potentially the Cannaanites, the Ottoman’s held the land for the longest and moste recent, around 650 years or so. The empire fell when they sided with the Germans in WW1, and the British government issued the Balfour Declaration, favoring the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine. You can forget the Jordanian occupation of the area that lasted just 19 years, the people of Palestine were there the whole time outnumbering the Jewish population 2-1. The Arabs of the region had already been identifying as a semi-independent state within the Ottoman Empire during the 18th and 19th centuries. This phenomenon of periodic autonomy within Palestine continued in different ways until the Egyptian invasion of 1831-1840. Some historians, with different backgrounds, consider Dhahir al-‘Umar as the founder of the idea of the modern Palestinian independent state. Others view the Palestinian rebellion of 1834 against the Egyptians as the beginning of the formation of a Palestinian entity and identity.
All this history is by-the-by, Zionist settlements are an illegal colonization under international law and human rights conventions that Israel is a part of. Most of the settlers are not Israeli born but actually come from the US - they have no legal or moral right to the land, most of which is taken under threat of violence to the West Bank Palestinians. Some might claim that they hope to make life better for the Palestinians and this may at times be true, but mostly the result is, worker exploitation, restriction of movement and resources, settler militia violence, oppression, murder and mass incarceration with impunity. The truth is a great many if these settler homes are built on the rubble of displaced Palestinian homes. Don’t forget this is land under Israeli occupation and under the 4th Geneva Convention colonization of these are illegal and are enabled by numerous human rights violations.

A note on "the Jews got the arable land"... You are absolutely ignoring the fact that, first of all, there was always Jewish majority areas, so why wouldn't they get their own areas where they've been living for centuries?! Second, the other area WERE DESERT AND MALARIA-INFESTED SWAMPS until Jews came and built them up and MADE THEM ARABLE. So if they were arable in 1948, it's literally because THEY MADE IT SO. It's not their fault that the Arabs didn't do anything with their land to improve it!
Fun fact: Jews introduced agriculture to the Hejaz region of the Arabian peninsula. They literally did not have agriculture prior to that.

    • @bpcj4891
      @bpcj4891 5 місяців тому +2

Also lol, you're using the argument that "The Israelites only ruled the area for 400 years total" but there was NEVER a nation called Palestine and ruled by Palestinians, so are you going to use that argument for them as well? Are you going to say they don't deserve to live there because they had no sovereign nation?? They both belong. Get over it. You're obsessed with Jews, we get it. But they come from that land and they can legally purchase land there and return if they want to! And by legally purchase, I'm talking way before 1948!!! The Arab landowners couldn't sell their land fast enough! Literally. They had more land they tried to sell than there was money for Jews to buy.

The Jewish people are *indigenous* to Judea - Land of Israel. 🕎🙌
After over 2 millennia of forced exile, persecution, and genocide, the *(re)establishment* of *Jewish sovereignty* in our *ancestral homeland* is a remarkable story of *national liberation.* Jewish claims to the land are far more than biblical accounts. Our *religion, language, culture, holidays, rituals, liturgy, history,* and even the words Jew and Jewish are all inseparable from *historical Judea* and our collective longing to *return to the Land of Israel.*
The land of Israel is where Jews became *a people* and the *oldest monotheistic faith.* It is where Jews *achieved sovereignty* before losing it and regaining it several times until much of the *indigenous Jewish population* was either killed or forced into exile following the *Roman Empire’s* brutal suppression of the heroic *Jewish revolt* in the second century of the Common Era. Though the Romans subsequently *renamed the land* Syria Palaestina, the Jewish people *never left* our homeland physically or spiritually. *Archaeological evidence* of Jewish life can be found in more than *30,000 sites* in Israel with antiquities dating back centuries. Even when we were massacred and persecuted by Christian Crusaders, Arab and Ottoman *invaders,* the British-led Jordanian Arab Legion, or more recently Hamas suicide bombers and rockets, our attachment *never* wavered.
It is in this same land where Jews miraculously *revitalized* the Hebrew language, *rebuilt* the institutions necessary for independence, *re-engaged* in rituals that are uniquely observed in the land of Israel, *redeveloped* the land and the economy so that by several magnitudes the Jewish and non-Jewish populations grew, and offered refuge not just to the remnant which survived the Holocaust, but also millions of Jews fleeing persecution from the Muslim Middle East, Ethiopia, and the former Soviet Union. Today, Israel is a *rich tapestry of diverse citizens,* including over half of Jewish Israelis who identify as Jews of color and 20% of whom are Arab citizens.

@UC1cyJ14dPOCnDLRy7A19lGg I believe Britain has always had immigration, a lot of it due to the former British Empire and in later years, to do with wars the British Army participated in. I do think on one hand that it's quite bizarre that Britain go to war then accept asylum applications from countries that are its enemy, but if I'm to think like that I would be against allowing the Jewish refugees to live there during and after WW2. Actually, the government at the time was antisemitic and Jews were treated like the enemy, not to be trusted. Many were put in camps on offshore islands. If you haven't read David Baddiel's book "The Secret Purposes", I recommend it. I'm Jewish and I don't understand your logic, because I know what happens historically when foreigners are seen and treated as unwelcome. It's those people crying out against immigration, followers of Enoch Powell, the Blackshirts, for example, who make Jews' and other immigrants and descendants of immigrants' lives difficult in places like the UK. We were kicked out of too many countries because of policies like this and therefore I can't be in agreement with them.

A major section of Jewish diaspora thought they can live peacefully wherever they went. Economically they well in good position but socially not. Soon Jewish hatred spread all over Europe and elsewhere and they began to realize the need for their homeland and started the Zionist movement to achieve that. When the UN placed a two-state solution, they accepted it immediately, but the Arabs rejected it. When Israel was reestablished Jordan, Syria and Egypt should have accepted the displaced Arabs who had occupied the Israeli territories for centuries. Instead, they were not willing and wanted to obliterate Israel.

I think that people like Natalie can do the differents, I really enjoy the video. Palatine/Israel can live in peace the best way is to talk and keep on talking. Speak to the young children bring them together don't feed them hatred. Because it seems no one is going away but just cause hardships. Just remember no nation that lives in conflict with each other is going to last true out history it is proven that most great nations fall through failure. Their is a saying each nation will get greater before they fall or fail. On day you will all live in peace for your children and your grandchildren sake.

I’m American, Jewish, and a staunch supporter of Israel. But why. Why would you pick this American woman for her self-congratulatory promotional video about the ““wonderful work“ they’ve done in building a settlement in the West Bank? It sounds full of “justification“. and unconvincing.

The segregation is a bigger problem that will only continue this conflict. Would you like some foreigners to put walls and barbed wire around olive trees that your family picked for generations and tell you it's their promised land and they can do what they like with it and that's a good compromise? It's not good at all, it's only laying fuel for the fire, and showing the opposite side how much the other distrust them.
