I applied on Tuesday the 15. Taking my road test the 27th. I’ve been working as a union teamsters flatbed driver for 2 years I’m only 23. I need more pay and a better company to work for. I’m based out of NYC.
I just got my class A and this is definitely the route im taking ive been looking for months to see how often the positions open up and i dont see any maybe 1-2 but hours away from me …. Long story short i have 9 months to complete my 10 vested years for my pension in construction union so its not like i can apply today if it popped up… what job description did it say i have email notifications on for i think tractor trailer driver ? New york here btw 🫡
Tell your husband I said congratulations. To be honest I just use an old school backpack that has plenty of pockets to fit everything I need. I also have a cooler that fits perfectly inside my truck between my seats that serve as obviously a cooler but also a bed for those layover loads lol.

I’ve been wanting to be a feeder for ups but no luck… I’m applying for the yard shifter and see if I can move up to feeder that way
