@layyxa yeah and if you get one that has Marker Detection, DO NOT drop that. It marks all flags on your mini map, it's so helpful.
Cao Cao at bond level 5 does that as well, as does his armor set bonus. But his armor was a little too heavy for me to use, I tried to stay at 25% weight.

@joshphelps4820 No, that's Liu Bei. Cao Cao has the Unscrupulous Hero armor. I don't remember the name of his sword, but it's just a single handed sword rather than dual wield. Maybe the Hero of Vengeance sword? Not sure.
If you look at the Unscrupulous Hero set it should have the name of the sword that you need. You only need to equip 3 pieces of Cao Cao gear to get the flag marking though.
I'm glad your finally playing this, it's amazing so far, albeit very challenging. Just remember each element has an element it can cancel out, so you can stop somebody from using their forms of magic entirely

@@blackslade1524 I'm at the final mission and so far the first boss was the most challenging still(of the main battlefields, the trio really fked me up😅). I was 2-3 hit away from killing lu bu first try(he took 5 attemps), the rest I breezed through 1rst try, I still had a lot of fun even tho I would've like to get my ass kicked a lot more. Can't wait for ng+. I just found out you can lvl down your character, you don't lose any xp by doing so, it keeps the unallocated atribute point as a currency

So I’m enjoying this game need advice is dark souls and elden scrolls like this need suggestions for games like this. I really like the concept
They are, but can be played in dif ways and different type of world for each, but if you enjoy Wo Long you'll enjoy those
Nioh 1 and 2 are the most similar to wo long(made by the same team), but have more combat and build dept and are also more grindy. The souls are slower paced and you find gear/spells through explorarion rather than farming for it or just unlocking it in a skill tree. If you like the fast paced combat there's sekiro(the best combat experience imo), it look very similar to wo long at first glance but is mechanicly very different. Its a must play.

@@goosegooseduck12 interesting. As someone who doesn't really watch a lot of anime or play games in other languages Japanese dubs always sound funny to me I never get the hype behind Japanese dubs. Guess it's just a difference in the way they tend to speak because it always sounds like they're overdoing their lines to ridiculous levels and making a lot of grunting noises lol nothing against people that like it I just don't get why it's so universally loved
@@GrimViridian The reason I love it is because japanese is much more interesting than english as a language. It's so intricate, and the way it uses symbolism instead of directly stating your intentions is just awesome
also, the grunting and over the top acting is a staple of old, classic animes. Both in japanese and in other languages as well lol

That’s not an excuse. Fromsoft for example was making elden ring during Sekiro and look how that turned out to be. Wo Long isn’t bad but it does have a lot of problems.

@@V.IVRusty lies of P has a summoning pool right before every single boss fight what’re u talking about? both games are easy once you level up and get familiar with the meta but wo long’s parrying is way more satisfying than lies of p.
@@bukhabusa4819 the point is the summoning in LoP is optional. I’ve never used the summoning pool a single time. In Wo long it forces you to have companions making the game extremely easy. Also, LoP end game bosses are objectively harder then wo long. The best boss in wo long is Lu Bu but the average boss in LoP is significantly better.

@@duggyfresh8899 yeah the graphics in this game are nothing special... The textures and stuff really do look like from the PS3 era even on PS5 and i can bet even on PC but the gameplay is pretty good not going to lie it's a fun game sometimes graphics are not important at all
I really enjoyed this one. I only wish I never played nioh because it made it feel like half of nioh 2 with a season pass slapped on it. The stat system and combat mechanics seem simplified in comparison. I cleared most of the game with a straight water dump build, killing what some consider the harder bosses on the first try. Just felt a bit short, however I do still think it’s pretty good for what it is, especially with pvp.

Mixed reviews came purely from the performance on pc. That's why if you check metacritic scores on consoles for example ppl like the game. Story is made specifically for people who already know a decent ammount about that specific period in chinese hystory so a lot of ppl seem to hate on it. Overall after finishing it I'd say it's well worth a shot on game pass (or a sale. NOT 70$ worth)

it had shit pc porting so playing/streaming on pc was basically impossible without serious problems
Reception on consoles is really good but pc is unplayable so people are flooding steam reviews with negative ratings
The PC Port and Optimization is incredibly bad if you don't have incredibly good hardware. Doesn't help that the listed recommended specs on steam are only good for low settings basically. Mind you those specs are for recommended not basic, and what is listed is 5 year old parts like a 2060 GTX 6gb with 16gb of Ram and an intel card from 2019. Couple that with the fact Koe Techmo has a bad history of bad PC ports, it's also unfortunately unsurprising.

It could be because it was just long and that the prompt that appears for the cut scene was so hidden im halfway through the game right now and he was the hardest boss so far in my opinion
@@borcketlordofbucketvanquis6722 is this the same boss with the two phases? I don't remember any prompts. I just walked into the boss arena and it started. The only thing you gotta get used to is his speed. Once you know his hammer behaves like a sword, you can parry a lot of his moves. His second phase I did in one go but maybe I got lucky.
@@dtanobo so there was a prompt at the top left of the screen for using didvine beast when he was at half health on the second phase which would insta kill him but I agree he was super easy first phase I think the second part was a lot more difficult maybe i think that because I used to not use martial arts which makes it much easier

sekiro is about constant pressure and playing a rhythm game. If you let go of the opponent for too long, their posture goes back down and you lose progress.
In wo long, there are specific "phases" to fights, especially with unstaggerable bosses, where you have to defend BEFORE attacking
this game feels like scuffed sekiro if you play it like sekiro. But it's meant to be played more along the lines of "NIOH 2 with more parrying"
Then don't play it. Stop whining Wo Long is incredible

most bosses in this game can be beaten below 10 minutes as long as you have the approriate level and morale
Lu Bu, considered to be one of the best/hardest boss in the game was a 5 minute long fight when I finally beat him.
So again, if you're spending 10 minutes per boss, the problem isn't the game: it's you
