The house you went to about the “Community Garage Sales”; it may have been a thing that that house had spearheaded, ironically, but none of the other houses joined in, because it was not a good time for them. You said it looked like a “new” community.
Just my opinion/thoughts on the situation.
The Wrangler brushpopper’s were designed to be worn for protection from brush and branches snapping back while on horseback or working the brush. They are made from a heavy cotton canvas and are fantastic shirts. I used to wear them regularly in the early to mid nineties. You will instantly know one by touch if you come across one.

Yes. They feel like an old canvas tarp only thinner. The ones I had were wind/waterproof as well.
You might can’t hop through brush with it, but pretty cool!
@npproneck34 I don’t know what an old tarp would feel like, but are they thick like Carhartt pants? Or just feel more stiff than a regular shirt? I believe I found one, so Im just trying to verify.
@@brittanycurry7039 not as thick as Carhartts and yes, a little stiff. They kinda have a slight waxy feel to them. Think of a lighter weight older tent or sail.
The Coleman lantern has the month and year of manufacture stamped on the bottom, some collectors try to find their birthday
I did know it was stamped but didn't know about people wanting thier birthday- now ill be looking for mine 😀
Those old Colman lanterns used them for many years when we camped when I was young always got yelled out not to break the mantel’s pretty cool ash will stay together
Those old Coleman are always a steal ! I’ve sold one for 80 bucks before only thing hard about them is getting them packed and hope the usps employees don’t toss them across the room

A good thing to brighten up those one gallon jugs is to get some coloured glass stones they use in fish tanks or marbles it will really look great with the flowers .. 👍🇦🇺🦘

My Dad used to work for Hamilton Beach. We have a whole collection of mixers, blenders, malt machines, etc. I just picked up an old malt machine with original cup for $45.
My Dad had that very same shirt.... He passed away in 2011, and he had that shirt for YEARS before he passed. It was one of his top 3 favorites, it is now part of a quilt my aunt made for me of his shirts. The difference in the Flannel Long Sleeve and the Brush hopper is the material. The Money Maker (Brushhopper) is more of a poplin/Muslin/thick cotton material. That shirt was popular in the 1980's. I can remember guys in my school with them. Great picks.

Yes the brushpopper shirts are a heavy cotton, almost canvas type of material. I have eight or nine of them and they are very durable. They feel like what a starched pair of denim jeans feel like if that makes sense.

I love that you say the interweb, I say that when my teenaged grandkids are around. They laugh at me the correct me. I sY pokeeman instead of Pokémon too. They bust a gut. My grandmother used to buy grape juice from the health food store in those jugs in the 70s. She also had the A&W jug. You bought the jug then brought it back to refill. Great times.

Nice yard sales for finding so few. Love Kayla’s decor! I finally went yard sailing today with a friend. Had knee surgery, so I’ve been down for a bit. Weather was perfect. Found a few treasures. & it’s only Friday! Great day!!

I was at a town-wide community sale today, about 1 hour & 15 minutes away. By 7:15 you literally couldn't move. I have no idea where all those people came from. I got some goodies at my first stop but way too much competition there today
yea there are so many people yard saling =) we too have seen a ton of people esp at the community sales
WranglerBrushpopper has pearl snaps, not plastic buttons and material is more of a denim/carhartt canvass overall type material.
LOVE shark tooth hunting! We are about 20 minutes from our favorite spot. We just go on the beach and out to the first "shelf". I think our biggest is the size of a quarter!

Hey...I couldn't get back to the original video where ya bought the weider weights, Coleman camp items, and the Wrangler western shirt.
If I'm not mistaken i think the lesser valued shirt has a regular button onto top collar choke button, and regular buttons on sleeve cuffs. I have both...I might have 10 shirts outta bout 300 that aren't pearl snap. Anyway, enjoy your show I do. Take care.

Brushpopper shirts are water-repellent, wind, dust, & sand-resistant work shirts. They are element protection because a lot of cowboys don't wear coats during some work. They were typically long-sleeved, button ups made out of flannel or wool. Nice finds.

The brush poppers were also water resistant.
Brush popper shirts are hard and stiff. They’re made to ride in the out back to protect you from sharp tree limbs and prickly large bushes and repel water. It like wearing a softer canvas.

As stated brushpopper is heavy denim.yours is a twill/ wool. Still very good looking, wrangler has a variety of different material now. But your pickup is still a older style, very nice looking and worthy of a good 20-30 dollar bill 💵💵💵, happy hunting ✅🍀✅

Just curious...how fast do you turn items over with sales? Are you filling up a garage or basement to warehouse these items, or are things moving out the door to the post office swiftly?
we sell about 10 to 20 items a day depending on the day - we do have 2 storage units of items and we keep about 2200 items in inventory
We can always find sharks teeth on beaches in Galveston. Not anywhere near that big.

No idea you could add up the sold comps we work I months not days alot can change day by day but for a trend 30.days is good

@@beardedthriftmachine That's pretty hefty coupled with lots of work. I like the idea. I used to do boat parts and boat engine parts on eBay until the lake out here dried up and then the shipping costs went through the roof and no one purchased them any more. Kinda killed that one.

Have to take in account all the time driving to and from yard sales. All the time shopping yard sales, all the time cleaning up the items, and storing the items. All the time listing the items, all the time shipping the items. After all of the expenses associated with the items how much is the net profit? The thing about these types of videos is that they are misleading due to the fact it’s not as simple as you make it seem. Not everything will be profitable and not everything that sells results in a profit after all the time and everything else is factored in. Also factor in all your time when you go to sales and don’t find anything that is profitable.

Yep & how many items never sell or sit for a very long time. Cost to store them & keep them clean..... How much is your time actually worth? He has made a business out of it. For me I personally would not want to spend that type of time for the money you get back. Not only that but if it is a legal business than he has to pay for other licenses, a LLC up keep commercial insurance.....
