    Here is my latest vlog from late Feb 2018, fishing the Marybirnong river in Melbourne out

    Hi Paul great vid. When sounding for jews in the Maribyrnong using side scan would you recommend 800khz or 455khz @ 25m each side. Thanks

      Hi mate. I generally go between the two depending on water clarity. Most of the time with the Elite Ti2 and 3-1 transducer, I use 455khz end 16-25m range

      Generally speaking it’s supposed to provide greater range/coverage at that frequency and 800 should provide better clarity. But a lot of it also comes down to personal preference (what our eyes see on the screen), speed that you sound at (boat vs kayak) and transducer placement.

      MiamiFootballFinatic the occasional one mate. Not very often but there’s some very good ones in there (3-5kg range) have been caught over the years

    Mate can you please tell me where you launch, I would love to fish the kong but struggling to find anywhere other than the essendon rowers club. Thanks in advance.

      Big Pagong hi mate. I normally launch at Flemington road bridge. Found that to be easiest

    I was there yesterday at my uncles restraunt and I saw a bream and mullets and I only caught 4

    Always soft plastic eazy for you to catch why dont you doing bait fishing for bream you always fish soft plastic we want a see you fish with bait thankyou myt it is not hard to fish with bait for bream

      Will see if I can do an episode using bait. I just prefer the challenge of lures for bream personally

      Ryan Smith Hey mate. Just launching at Flemington road because I have a trailer for the yak. A lot of others launch a little further up at Footscray and Essendon rowing clubs
