Hi Paul great vid. When sounding for jews in the Maribyrnong using side scan would you recommend 800khz or 455khz @ 25m each side. Thanks
Hi mate. I generally go between the two depending on water clarity. Most of the time with the Elite Ti2 and 3-1 transducer, I use 455khz end 16-25m range
@@PaulMalovFishing thanks for that Paul. Why does 455khz read better in your opinion?
Generally speaking it’s supposed to provide greater range/coverage at that frequency and 800 should provide better clarity. But a lot of it also comes down to personal preference (what our eyes see on the screen), speed that you sound at (boat vs kayak) and transducer placement.
@@PaulMalovFishing legend thanks Paul. Hope we're in the water soon. Love the video. Cheers
Hey Mate, nice work just what i was looking for. Good size bream you're pulling out.
Jeremy Riordan thanks Jeremy!

Mate can you please tell me where you launch, I would love to fish the kong but struggling to find anywhere other than the essendon rowers club. Thanks in advance.
Big Pagong hi mate. I normally launch at Flemington road bridge. Found that to be easiest
