Welcome back to Easley! I'm glad you went to Smitty's. They are pretty new and I've been thinking about trying them. FYI the hotdog record you set at Skins was broken last Wednesday.
In competitive eating, managing the sensation of fullness and continuing to eat is crucial. Here’s how hot and cold drinks can affect this: Cold Drinks: They can sometimes help by numbing the stomach slightly, which might make it easier to continue eating after feeling full. They can also help in cooling down the body if you've been eating heavily. Hot Drinks: These can aid digestion and potentially stimulate appetite. However, they might also contribute to a feeling of fullness due to their heat, which could be counterproductive if you're trying to eat more. For competitive eating, experimenting with both types of drinks to see which helps you manage fullness and continue eating more effectively is important. Many competitive eaters use cold drinks to help with the physical space in their stomachs and reduce the feeling of being overly full.
When I hear the beard say delicious several times, I know its really good because he does not throw that word around, reminds me of the country fried steak meal he had where he was just loving the food! Smitty's eh? I will try and remember them!

And of course getting freebies like shirts, hoodies and gift cards.
This is a dude that has scoffed a not insignificant portion of the world. To say this is favorite is a MASSIVE compliment.
Beard has always been so humble. That's why we (the fans) love him. Beenf following since before 50K.
I’m not huge on BBQ, but when it’s good….its GOOD! You know a place is confident in their meat when they’re giving people samples. Safe travels Adam!
Nah. It could also mean that their meat is expired and they need to get rid of it before it starts to stink too much.
@@samuraidoggy I live in Easley and know the people that own Smitty's. You can rest assured they are, in a good way, cocky about how good their food is. These are quality people serving the best bbq in the world and they know it. Just a great restaurant. I did lol at the spoiled comment though haha
@@davidgarrett7890for real. Imagine thinking that when the deli offers you to sample the meat at a grocery store, that they pull an expired piece out to let you try.
tbh those friendly environment and smiles suggests why those food looks tasty
This was just what i needed right now. Thanks Beard for making the day a bit better.
Me too...hang in there bro!
Happy to ❤
Same!
To the chef at Smitty's Smokin' Soulfood: BRAVO! That looked insanely good! 👏👏👏
I love to see when people recognize Beard coming to do the challenges and are super nice about it. It's really cool. And that BBQ did look amazing. Makes me wish I could try it for sure.
I love how polite and real you are everywhere you go, it’s not a big thumbnail and all this stupid stuff others do to pump their videos up for a hype, just nice to watch, have a good one!
That’s me ❤
Takes a spot in one of the most wholesome videos, with the appreciation for the food and the staff being top notch.
Everywhere you go in America the staff and customers are so friendly.
Our country is teeming with misery guts.
Those ribs were huge !!!
You smashed that Adam 👍🏼🇬🇧🇬🇧
Cause weeds legal over there
@@jamesmccarron4847 Haha good point 👌🏼
Americans are such nice people. The staff are almost always friendly. It's rare to get even a smirk in most European restaurants.
But it helps BeardMeatsFood is such a nice, funny guy too!
that aint true at all lmao
ur going to the wrong restaurants
Lived both in the Netherlands and the US and I agree. Love your track on the run btw. Cheers.
This dude just hacked life! He gets to eat for free, gets clothes for free and the video's pay for rent. What more do you need?!
😂
The bug in the matrix 😂
A digestive system that isn't completely fucked.
He's pure profit. A walking ROI
This a high level comment!! 😂
The restaurant staff were the nicest bunch of people I have seen for quite some time. Kudos to them all, I hope one of you see's my words! 😄
That staff is amazing with how helpful and friendly they are and excited to watch BMF eat. When BMF really likes the food speaks volumes about the quality. That chow looked great. Great advertising for Smitty's from staff to food!
The pulling apart of the BRISK-…… *passes away from tenderness* 😍😍
A+ as always Adam. Would love a workout split video. You've said you never miss a session and it shows. I think it'd be beneficial for people to see some of the other work you put in to make all this possible. All the love from Atlanta.
I love the staff laughing at your sandwich creation lol. Gotta love southern hospitality.
What a wonderful human being and what a lovely staff at Smitty's Smoking Soul Food. Great channel and BMF just wants to make you root for him!!!
Atmosphere in smittys was on point 👌👌
I think it's great you let the cooks know how good their food is! -- Your appreciation is so heartfelt and genuine --- Surely they appreciate!
Courgette, for those wondering, is what we in the States tend to call zucchini, or summer squash. It is not related to okra, but they are somewhat texturally similar when deep fried.
I appreciate your honesty about how good the food is. And the employees were so friendly too! Congrats on a delicious win!
You are by far my favorite competition eater ever mate. Love your videos....not to long either. Great work 👏
I have been very sick for 2 years. I can barely eat. I don’t know if I have Parkinson’s. I’m waiting to find out. I miss eating so much. I found your videos and your kindness sense of humor and joy for food has given me a moment of peace in my day. Thank you. Take care. And please be careful in your travels. I always wanted to see the world. Maybe someday.
I love Sundays and Adam so much!! High praise for Smitty's if you say it's the best BBQ!! I loved their friendliness
Adam man! I was following you since 10k. Can’t believe you’re nearly at 4 million. That’s insane. You deserve it 100%. Your content has just got better and better and you’re always changing it up. Miss the days of you eating every dominos pizza on the menu in your house 🤣 but still loving the new stuff. Keep it up bro 👊🏼
Dang it, Beard. My wife and I lived in Easley for 16 years. We're less than 2 hours away from there now and would have loved to have seen you at Smitty's........which by the way was not open for business when we moved. Thanks to your top notch recommendation we will definitely pay them a visit. You are the best, thanks for all you do and for just being a great human being.
Thanks mate ❤
Follow you for a few years now and I admire your kindness, top!!! You are an example for many!! Continue the good work and most of all… enjoy what you’re doing!
Love seeing a restaurant with happy and kind employees. a rare sight where im from...
So humbled, so kind what a guy man. ❤❤❤
That looked like one of the most difficult challenges I've ever seen you try and you still smashed it! I cannot even imagine eating that much in one sitting and it's not just the volume, it's the density, the richness, the oils from the deep frying. "Tis no man, 'tis a remorseless eating machine!"
That was one of the only ones where I was thinking I might be able to eat all that. Especially with how good he said it was.
The videos are so much better when the staff is super nice and interactive. One of the best challenges I’ve ever watched. Congrats beard.
Whenever I feel a bit down, I just watch these videos. Pure joy. This and redlettermedia are the only UA-camrs that get it.
I am truly honoured ❤
Who else gives a thumbs up before watching??? I know I do. As usual. Great video sir. You truly are an animal and master of good food. Safe travels. And, until the next one. 🇺🇸😎
I appreciate that!
I think it's pretty safe to say, out of the hundred or so channels I follow, there may be three I do this with. With Adam, I always know it's going to be good.
For Beard i click the like as the intro is rolling as i know i am going to enjoy it
I do
I do this too, on this channel. Never been disappointed, even when Adam doesn't win. He keeps it real, and actually tastes his food.
I don't follow any other competitive food challengers.
It's such a pleasure to see the genuine excitement you have for this new journey. Congratulations for taking the step to do what fulfills you. Can't wait to follow along!
I wish I had beards confidence it’s an inspiration to those who struggle in social situations, and he doesn’t even know it.
Gotta be who you are in this life
I like how politely Beard always praises the food and says how delicious it is.
Two desserts to end the trip might just be the most American thing yet. Well done, Beard, glad you got some damn fine bbq.
😂
2:40 😂 the hoodie really perked him up! He likes the clothing more then winning the challenge
Love the American videos you do..especially the parts you go too..The costumers and staff always seem so friendly and happy to have you.
Glad you like them!
this channel is so nice to sit back and chill to not because the food but the sarcasm and commentary is top tier!
Opening drone shot is actually Gaffney, SC which is about an 45min from Easley, SC. I was born and raised in Gaffney, SC and now live in Easley, SC. Smittys is a great spot!
What a friendly staff, and high praise from the Beard for the food. Well done smashing that challange!
I haven’t had barbecue in forever
This is the first place I would actually cross state lines to try. The food all just looked spot on. Great job Smitty’s!!!
Yep, the American folks so supportive and genuine 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇲🍻
You can’t do better than a Carolina BBQ and there is never too much good BBQ! Plus everyone there was really nice too. Well done Beard!
Bucket List. Smitty's. Thank you.
Yeah, that looked really good.
Ill let you know if its actually good by SC standards, I live in the area and have never heard of this place, I will be trying them this week now.
@@Nexumissame! They must be in the old OJ’s spot or the old ace hardware spot.
@@kelleygiambro7542 Might have to make a reservation now.
4:33 that sauce is typically for the fried okra but, Beard is not typical. North Carolina loves ya Beard!
😂
I was thinking it was an "Alabama white" BBQ, for the yardbird.
A remoulade for the okra makes more sense.
Congratulations on being in love with another man Thanks for telling everyone😅
I am starving now They make you feel hungry after watching food 😂😂😂
You do wonders for small businesses. Thank you for your service.
GREAT ATTITUDE AND SERVICE FROM THE STAFF!! Friendly and in aw of beards ability to make it look sooo easy.
Welcome back to Easley! I'm glad you went to Smitty's. They are pretty new and I've been thinking about trying them. FYI the hotdog record you set at Skins was broken last Wednesday.
In competitive eating, managing the sensation of fullness and continuing to eat is crucial. Here’s how hot and cold drinks can affect this:
Cold Drinks: They can sometimes help by numbing the stomach slightly, which might make it easier to continue eating after feeling full.
My favourite episode of this series, what a great place. Nice job squire!
Glad you enjoyed it!
When I hear the beard say delicious several times, I know its really good because he does not throw that word around, reminds me of the country fried steak meal he had where he was just loving the food! Smitty's eh? I will try and remember them!
This was close 😂❤
I always love when the staff is involved and knows what's up.
Adam, you are an amazing representative for us all here in the UK. Your attitude towards the challenges, the people you meet along the way and everything you do here on your channel. We love you guy.👊🏻❤️
I appreciate that!
00:20 the air dancer says THC on it, now I know how you manage to eat so much, caught red-handed.
Beardmeatsfood & Mr Ballen dropping videos at the same time!? The perfect Sunday does exist!
if you enjoyed this video, go to the like button's restaurant, sit down and eat 14lbs of food and then wipe your greasy beard all over the button
Glad to see that I am not the only one who watches the two of them religiously!!!! LOL
Mr Ballen loves the sound of how own voice too much
@@Pooki2024 Evidently a lot of people do too though, considering he's a pretty big creator
@@apokatastasian2831 yeah, buddy…haw!
