@@MrTimVegan not necessarily, the power of this deck is its ability to present a win turn after turn, allowing for the possibility to eat up everyone else’s hand and they just run out of interaction. You are right though, it its very interact-able
Love this series, really hope to see more. One barrier to cedh is just understanding the decks and format as a whole, so putting out lists that explain the deck I think will help bridge the gap, and Godo is probably THE best cedh deck to start with
I really love this, I have been thinking of building godo and this really helps. I would love to see gitrog next as its combo is very confusing on how it works and what to do with the deck.
As a magic spectator I've enjoyed your game videos, this will make these videos even more enjoyable to watch as we now have a better idea of what's going on
I subscribe to this wholeheartedly. Haven't played magic in forever, but love it as a spectator sport, understanding how decks work would make for an even more engaging viewing experience.
I love how straight to the point this channel is in every aspect, from the gameplay videos to this deck tech video. Usually I get bored a few minutes in, but you kept my attention. Keep it up!
I've always been drawn to mono-color cEDH like Godo or Yisan, it's just really interesting to see how a single color can stretch the color pie enough to go for a satisfying, efficient win.
I loved the style of this video! Elegant and direct. What I don't like is paying thousands of dollars on a deck that gets shut down so easily as Godo (poor red). I think you need to REALLY like underdogs to invest so much in such a fragile combo
The deck that I would like most to see in this segment would be The Gitrog monster, since I would like to know how the combo works, where is the clutch point to counter this deck but also to see a true cedh build by people that I am sure they know the format up and down. Great video as always, looking forward to more videos and also the new UA-cam stream which up until now is perfect!
I made an Aurelia deck with these combos in mind. I gotta say. My deck usully wins turn 6 (sometimes even 5) However I'm missing some critical ramp spells and lands so this gives me hope. Plus I run Sigarda's aid and have access to Stoneforge Mystic & other amazing tutors so I believe I can optimize to this level when I get the $. Awesome video, I found new techs for my deck : )
I didn't know about this deck, I have my Samut legendary Deck and eventually discovered Godo and thought about equipment for this deck, (as my own rule) it must to be legendary, so I added legendary equipment, I ended adding hammer of Nazahn and finally discovered the helm of the host ......and the combo jumped by its own, so after that, I built my deck around this legendary Naya Combo ( Nazhan + Godo) oh and another own rule, it must be Naya deck :D, greetings people, really love your videos hope you are safe and sound
2:20 You can also look for all the equipments in your deck if you want to, not that it matters too much if the combo its set but it's never wrong to be cautious. Also, an alternative combo you can use is this: Godo + Sword of Feast and Famine + any form of unblocable + Aggravated Assault, infinite attacks.
Great deck tech. Was thinking about building this recently... I'd love to see Golden Control (Tasigur), Harvest Animar, or Wanderer's Song (Yisan) next.
Great video, love the chance to finally understand the thought process to playing these decks. I think just ditch the music in the background though. Or lower the volume it's a bit obtrusive.
Playing a budget version right now. I have all the main juice, just on budget rocks/ramp instead. I have been toying with Kiki as an addition. I find it’s a great way to flush out some counters. If he resolves, well that’s nice too. Dockside, Celebrant (cool with helm too), dual caster... plenty of great targets.
I suggest not only focusing Not only Decks but also combos in general eg scepter builds. Like how many nonland really is needed so everybody can build their own lists (especially when budget is a consideration). Really good way to step into the Format though!
Honestly, I'd love to see a K'rrik deck tech. I'm currently building one right now, but the suggestions I've gotten from tapped out are all over the place. I feel like this stems from the face that most mono black combos bleed into other wincons. As of the typing of this comment the only wincon I have is aetherflux and gravecrawler. Would love an in depth deck tech on K'rrik that also could talk about the many ways in which mono black wins in cedh.
I'm surprised you aren't running dualcaster mage in your Primer. Probably have a good reason. But I like it because it overs an alternativ wincon with twinflame and has good utility by coping spells in general
Maybe a Deck tech on Chainer Dementia master. He as most would probably know has some really odd combos. Like Xia Dun, the one-eyed + Solem sim + bubbling muck + Chainer = your get a lot of mana, lands, and cards. And k'rrk + kokushno or Garry + Chainer. Maybe do a controlling the board style deck tech?
I'm surprised I didn't see Boiling Seas/Boil in that blue hate list, since that card was how one of the games on this channel with Godo had Godo winning
With all the new Mutate cards, do you think it would be viable to make a competitive Mutate Tribal Deck around Ramos? I'm curious on how that would play out tbh
I like the video, however... I believe your missing some things. Like a section on what to do when having your combo disrupted(alternate wins, ways of getting back helm if its destroyed etc.)
Twinflame costs 2 to get it to work. Flameshadow costs 5 (4 plus the triggered ability). It was tested in the deck at one point, but was removed for more efficient cards. Heat Shimmer is in there though!
Not really, godo can ge infinit because he gives you extra combat steps hudetsugu uses his ability and taps and you can't very well make infinit hidetsugus. I'm not sure if he put your life total at half rounded down or up. If down than you can get them to 0 when they're at 1
It's always fun to see Godo win against a table of blue decks. I would like to see Opus Thief next.
If godo wins players did awful mulligans or brutally misplay. Godo loses to almost any interaction
@@codyhumble7855 that's a great discussion when you ram your opinion down someone's throat then end the dialogue.

When the blue decks fight against each other then the godo wins with his two backup blasts.

I liked the deck tech! Please do more of these! I would enjoy seeing any of Garrett's many Sultai decks or the Anje deck!
Yes you will! We have a bunch we will be posting in the future! Stay tuned!

This was a cool video, and a great idea! I'd love to see Yuriko at some point :D
We will add it to the list!
SAME
Extra turns yuriko is my favorite cedh deck
Is Yuriko turns considered cEDH? I thought she was more in the "high power" category.
⭐️ Like number 1000 ⭐️
I have always enjoyed the great cedh content you guys provide!
Thank you!

Extremely in depth breakdown of my favorite cEDH deck, been running this for months and having a blast
I hope you guys do more break downs like this. Great content as always!

Amazing deck tech. Short, informative, and well presented. Thank you.
Love this series! Definitely keep em coming!
Godo is one of my 3 cEDH decks, and definitely one of my favorites.
Please keep this series up! You guys rock!
Thank you for the tip. Keep making these type videos for us guys that are about go into cedh. Thank you again
Need more of these!! If you can find the time please do all the tier 1 commanders. Love the content!
Very interesting new series, hope to see more my guys! Keep up the awesome content.
Love this deck tech format! Hope to see more coming!

I really enjoy this deck-tech videos hope to see more of them in the future and keep the great work.
The music for this is actually bomb
Thank you for this. I’ve been thinking about jumping to cedh and this deck really fits me
Godo is so fun! One of my favorites to watch, alongside Yisan!
Love this kind of video you make besides the cedh gameplay..
More power to your channel.. keep it up..
This is great! I’d love to see more deck techs
awesome idea for content. I'd love to see first sliver food chain next!
this video really help a lot to get in cEDH. Hope to see anje falkenrath next time

I love this new video style, well done!
More of these please!
Thanks for explaning the combo. I'll like to see a Phage edh deck! :D
Great deck tech. Was thinking about building this recently... I'd love to see Golden Control (Tasigur), Harvest Animar, or Wanderer's Song (Yisan) next.

Thanks for the feedback, we will adjust the levels in future videos.
Great video I love this type of video with a quick deck profile and ways to pilot iy
I’d love to see either oona or yuriko next! Love the vids!

I would love to see a late game oriented deck. I enjoy surviving late and seeing what everyone can do but shutting it down before i lose.
New serie? Awesome! I'm curious to see tymna + tana, or maybe muldrotha
We will see about doing that!
Would LOVE too see Vial Smasher/ Thrasios!!!!
Selvala heart of the wilds
I suggest not only focusing Not only Decks but also combos in general eg scepter builds. Like how many nonland really is needed so everybody can build their own lists (especially when budget is a consideration). Really good way to step into the Format though!
Great series! I'd love to see less meta decks featured on here (like Godo)
I love this series!
Great video! I'd love to see Opus Thief for the next deck tech personally.
Would love to see Meren, Korvold, or anything Golgari! Awesome video!
I absolutely love this please make more.
Hyped for the next ones ♥️
I would really like to see some of your own personal homebrew decks. Something the internet hasn't seen before except in your gameplays perhaps.
I'd love to see a video like this for the Gitrog Monster!
Amazing video! I would love to see Yisan deck tech someday.
This is such a great deck tech analysis
My favorite deck😍
I would really like a Gitrog Monster video, or maye a Doomsday Grenzo one. This was a cool video, thank you!
Honestly, I'd love to see a K'rrik deck tech. I'm currently building one right now, but the suggestions I've gotten from tapped out are all over the place. Maybe try some Doomsday, which might be cool. Or Walking ballista + that undying dude + sac outlet for infinite DMG
I like godo in etb based decks just as a tutor.
Kenrith wuld be great too
Not sure if you guys have already did one, but I'd love to see a shimmer Zur video like this!
We can add it to the list.
I'd love to see Brago as he's my favorite commander
Do more of these please.
Awesome video!! Hoping for consultation kess
we need updated versions of these asap! =)
Great video, I'd love to see Animar deck tech my boy needs some love
This series is awesome
Nice deck tech, I would love to see one about gitrog since it's kind of complicated to start with it
Just want to see the things you can do with Oona it's a great commander I have a great one and I'd love to see your take on it
I love godo as a deck. I would really like to see a shimmer zur deck tech
We will add it to the list!
Tnx for video. I'd love to see Blood Pod ( Tymna / Tana) or Blue Pod (Thrasios / Bruse Tarl) :-)
We will add it to the list!
Nice series.
Love this!
I would love to see advantage thrasios, its a deck I'm heavily considering. Either that or curious control
I would like to see you guys do a deck tech of a mimor hackball combo deck. J find the deck to be very interesting.
We will add it to the list!
i love this video hope you will make it a series.
Would love to see a narset video in this style!
(Me):Plans to build Inalla. (PWP): Here is a video with a red deck discord! (Me): Sees a Sqee combo deck. (Also me): Cowabunga it is.
I'm surprised you aren't running dualcaster mage in your Primer. Probably have a good reason. But I like it because it overs an alternativ wincon with twinflame and has good utility by coping spells in general
This is me interacting for the algorithm.
Maybe a Deck tech on Chainer Dementia master. He as most would probably know has some really odd combos. Nice, I love deck tech!
I'm surprised I didn't see Boiling Seas/Boil in that blue hate list, since that card was how one of the games on this channel with Godo had Godo winning
That was more of a meta call at the time. That game was recorded in 2018 and aired January 2nd 2019.
Gitrog Dredge would be a cool deck tech. I've been getting tired of my Najeela list and I'm really looking for good deck tech for Gitrog.
It's on our list!
Hilariously enough I just built this deck at the start of the stay at home order, it's not up to par but it's running
Also any chance of a blood pod primer? Jw lol
We will definitely make a blood pod primer!
Can you guys make a Kess doomsday deck tech PLEASE
We will put it in the queue!
With all the new Mutate cards, do you think it would be viable to make a competitive Mutate Tribal Deck around Ramos? I'm curious on how that would play out tbh
Can you make one with Chainer, Dementia Master ?
Can I put in a request for Gitrog Dredge? It is a tricky combo to explain and understand.
It's already on the list!
I would like to see a cedh enchantress build, if there is a good one out there
I like the video, however... I believe your missing some things. Like a section on what to do when having your combo disrupted(alternate wins, ways of getting back helm if its destroyed etc.)
At the copies of godo fetching more equipment?
Any chance you could cover a world gorge deck?
Absolutely! We are taking all suggestions!
the most mono red deck from all the mono red decks that exist
edit: id like to see a competetive try on an aggro alesha deck :)
Question: I see that Twinflame is a staple in Godo, but what about Flameshadow Conjuring? Shouldn't that help cut down 11 mana to 7?
Twinflame costs 2 to get it to work. Flameshadow costs 5 (4 plus the triggered ability). It was tested in the deck at one point, but was removed for more efficient cards. Heat Shimmer is in there though!
What happens if godo is blocked while equip with helm? Does it still go infinite 🤔
i would love to see a yisan deck
What if an opponent has a indestructible creature and can just keep blocking the token?
Could you do the same Helm trick with Heartless Hidetsugu?
Not really, godo can ge infinit because he gives you extra combat steps hudetsugu uses his ability and taps and you can't very well make infinit hidetsugus. I'm not sure if he put your life total at half rounded down or up. If down than you can get them to 0 when they're at 1
