You mentioned this deck a while back on the 50K subscriber special, and it sounded intriguing! I'm going to watch this video to unwind after my stressful meeting today :)
Ryan forgot to link the primer! www.moxfield.com/decks/QpEuDVXpakCo50Rks4enMw/primer Oh, we're also on a few splinter twin backup lines right now with Village Bell-Ringer and Goblin Sharpshooter.
I'd love to see a deck tech on Opus Thief, I have built the deck in the past and am looking to rebuild it sometime soon, and a refresher would help out a ton for remembering what to watch out for.
Yey, you guys really make this blood pod explanation deck tech and this is the deck that im playing the most in this couple week!! Thanks guys you all are awesome 💕💕
Would love to see a deck tech on Ruric Thar, my beautiful boys who finally made it to the cEDH list as the first gruul deck thanks to conspicuous snoop combo.
I would really like to see an exhaustive primer on Yisan, Wanderer Bard. Most videos I can find are a couple years old and reading the collaborative primer google doc didn't really help. I have not played cEDH so far and feel quite self conscious about not knowing enough about the meta and missing triggers, setting up piles wrong etc. So right now that is a big hurdle for me starting to play my first game :)
I'd love an yisan deck as well, he's one of my favorite commanders and I've wanted to build him for a while! My first cedh style deck was emry but I got bored of fast combo, yisan looks like the most fun budget cedh commander
I am currently running Bruse Tarl and Ikra as commanders for Blood Farm, as I call it. Waiting for Tymna's reprint... But I built the deck with Tymna and Tana in mind as Kiki Jiki is a win von as well. I noticed that combat damage is very sweet when you simultaneously gain about 20 life when putting Bruse's trigger on Ikra. After that only waiting to resolve a massive Ad Nauseam and disintegrating my opponents. Thank you very much for the well done content. Can't wait for the next episode of PWP 😁🤘
Hey guys, as you wish I just finished the decklist on MTG Goldfish. Hope you like it. Please keep in mind that there are probably some good improvements but unfortunately some cards are just too expensive, e. g. the OG dual lands or the missing fetch lands. I did my best and await your opinions. www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/3500648#paper
Very cool I'm actually thinking about building this as my first deck without proxies where I own every single card because I played a lot of proxie decks and saved for buying a "real" deck wich I can do now so this video really helps with constructing that
Since i started playing CEDH, i have collected many cards of this deck (others i already had from playing mtg for 18+ years). Sadly, old duals had to go a few years ago to be able to move out of my country.
I won't ask for a Gitrog dredge video again, as I suppose the video is done and they still trying to shorten it to a watchable length while still trying to explain the combo in an understandable way. Good luck pwp mtg and looking forward to more great content
How bad would a version of this deck be with Najeela at the helm (for a 3cmc commander, but with all 5 colors) and running Vanifar for backup Pod and blue for stack interaction? Your stax would probably shift slightly off the Blood Moon perhaps but your draw power would increase with Study and Fish? I'm sure it's not optimal but a fun thought experiment!
Great primer! I know it's probably a bit suboptimal, but I really want to try building a Marath cedh deck. Do you think blood pod would be the best strategy? Or is losing the draw power of tymna and access to lots of tutors too much to get replaced by a Mana sink and machine gun in the command zone?
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I love your channel, it's great to be able to watch entire games in 10-15 minutes instead of over an hour
How do you guys think Aura Shards would do in a deck like this? I've cast it a few times against highly tuned decks but never in a full pod of cEDH lists
I build a blood pod, with Tana//Tymna pairing, but without any infinite combo line, to play with my friends in focused but non CEDH environment. Somehow I'm still rarely managed to win even though the deck is really fun for me to play, since it's actually really convoluted and puzzling to play. Does anyone have a recommendation for wincon in this deck? Currently my only wincon is to pod for Avenger of Zendikar, continued with pod to Craterhoof Behemoth.
I’d love to see your guises version of Anja falcon wrath are use her in multiple different ways depending on how the game is and I also have three infinite damage options in my deck along with a handful disruption
Oddly, in all my time watching CEDH content, I don't think I've ever seen Blood Pod actually cast a Birthing Pod.
This is the deck that really appeals to me. I don't play much cEDH but bloodpod/metapod looks like it would be right up my alley.
The thing about metapod is that you have to know the meta of your playgroup for it to be effective
It's a very good way to lose friends too!

Was Ian Doto an author on this at one point?
Sorry! I've updated the description!
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG Haha no worries
never built or played cedh before, but this video showed me where i want to start. i love board presence and value, so this is up my alley 100%!
I don't have time to watch it now,but I'm so happy and excited. You guys are awesome

Really well-made video with lots of good editing. This is indeed a fun deck. Sad that has dropped in power level a bit.
Thanks a ton!
This is exactly what I've been waiting for.
Oh yeah.... this is type of stuff. Thanks guys!
great tech. always good to learn more ^^
Agreed this is something I would like to play against my fast friends decks.
Just build my blood pod and this comesss!!!!
What a time
Nice video as always. I'll add the combo with goblin sharpshooter/villge bell ringer + splinter twin.
Would love to see a deck tech on Ruric Thar, my beautiful boys who finally made it to the cEDH list as the first gruul deck thanks to conspicuous snoop combo.
Would love to see Derevi Stax deck tech next, looking to build it as my next deck but it has some uncommon interactions
I’ll love a Korvold deck tech like this!!!

I've actually just started building Meta Pod, so this video is just in time
Great series👍
I’d love to see a deck tech for sultai. Preferably Tasigur as I’ve just finished building it and would appreciate some pointers 😊
Yeah tasigur would be cool
I would love an update to this deck. 😍

High quality content :)

Bro you don't necessarily need them depending on your meta. Some other lands like the ping lands or modern horizon lands are solid replacements :)
Love this video idea. I vote gitrog next deck tech
Can we get a breakdown of the "Farm" archetype. All I can find about it is it runs ad naus and cheap creatures.
Sweet deck
Would love to see how Ashaya, Soul of the Wild sacks up in ur meta
Awesome!!
Amazing
Guess this could be the Modern Jund deck of cedh. Although I've been brewing with a blackless build so i can use teferi and oko

Strength: Very Fun To Pilot and Play
Weakness: No Friends Afterwards
I'd love to see Kinnan cEDH!
Love these videos! Are you by any chance planning on doing one with the Elsha deck?
Good suggestion! We will be putting out a poll to see what people want to see next, so be on the lookout for that!
Great deck analysis :)
I just, why there is no Enlightened Tutor in the deck. It can get the keypiece Birhting Pod.
Or is it just too narrow? :)
@@TWICE_ Oh, my fault. I didnt see it, when they mentioned the tutors!
Thanks!!!

Marath is not going to be as good as Blood Pod, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t build it! Marath is still formidable and can be a lot of fun.

Do you have a competitive budget style deck for around $300? Preferably under $300 or as close as possible.
Just curious
Thanks for the deck tech 👍
We actually have something very cool that’s budget related this upcoming month, so stay tuned!

Cool! Thanks 👍
BEST DECK FOR ATRAXA.
I'm trying to brew a keskit-tana deck with similar combos. It's jund so the lack of white needs to be worked around. Anyone able to lend a hand?
Nice! I proxied out a blood pod deck recently, and it looks quite difficult to play.
The thing about blood pod is that the wrong stax piece can end the game in a very unsatisfying way if you are not very good at threat assessment
How do you guys think Aura Shards would do in a deck like this? I've cast it a few times against highly tuned decks but never in a full pod of cEDH lists
It has been run in the past and does pretty well in metas that call for it.
PLEASE do a Tasigur Cedh deck tech
I’m devastated that my notifications were 7 minutes late
I want to see an Urza Scepter deck tech 🥺
Blood pod? Playing with Powers Halloween video came early 😳
Wait until you see what we've got planned next week!
Are you gonna cover my deck 😳 Lmao, just kidding

Do you think this deck is stronge/much stronger than blue pod?
Its tough to say since they both have their pros and cons. I would love to see a video with both of those decks in the pod :)
I’d love to see your guises version of Anja falcon wrath are use her in multiple different ways depending on how the game is and I also have three infinite damage options in my deck along with a handful disruption

How can I make Rafik and or nakusar competitive, my two favorite commanders. Yes i want you Ryan to help me out 😆
Do a deck tech on daretti scrap savant
Not cedh viable however there are some cool deck techs on other channels if you look it up :)
Blood Pod Deck Tech: Play any sans blue Tymna/Tana deck
is it worth playing bloodpod in 2022?
Yes
