The problem that I am always faced with wood panels for example MDF or another is the curvature and waviness of the wood after painting. I hope you have sulition for my issue. Thank you.
Thank you ... I like the canvas panels as well for mailing ... much cheaper than framed canvas.
Question on the MDF panel you showed, you mentioned it needs gesso, but I also thought it needed to be sealed?
Do you seal your MDF panels before gesso-ing or am I wasting my time and products lol?

3:06 the linen panel is not MDF board- that’s cardboard….
You went through them too fast… and MDF is the better Choice- especially for plein air and studies… don’t take up space… don’t tear…. And on and on.
The panel is the worst most cheap looking and cotton ones are terrible surface to paint on- linen costs more- and who would buy linen on cardboard!! It’s better to prep the MDF with linen … for students-beginners those cheap panels are ok for practicing,but the surface is not good- you’ll get better results with MDF…
