    The St. Lawrence is absolutely capable of producing the next world record. However, if the figures you provided for the lure and entire rig are accurate, I’m not sure this fish is even the world record. Never mind pressing 70”

    World record musky is 69lbs. 11oz chippewa flowage wisconsin. Caught by Louis spray.

    Thanks, great video. I wound up here after looking up Muskie in the St. Laurence because one day when i was biking over the Champlain bike path bridge i saw something HUGE jump out of the water and turn over to expose its white belly. I thought it was some sort of beluga that had come too far down the river into Montreal so i stayed there waiting for it to re-surface but i never saw it again. Now im starting to think it must have been a giant muskie, it looked to be as long as my girlfriend is tall.
