it's 3 vocalists (used to be 4 until Gabe switched from git to drums). You really should give the follow up EP "Safety Second, Body Last" a go. 10 of the best minutes in music, in my opinion. Absolutely amazing live band, sadly Gabe Serbian passed away last year.
I got into locust a lot back in the early 2000s. There were a lot of ex-screamo and hardcore band members that got really weird around this time and got into grind and PV and synths - The Blood Brothers being the most popular of that era. But this isn’t far off from early Black Dice or An Albatross either. The term “sass” was thrown around as a loose genre tag.
I have a hard time believing that The Locust is punk rock, it sounds more like something that would come out of a genre named 'squeeblecore' or something silly like that
As l lay here in the hoospital, looking at the walls, your videos are like a lifeline of endless entertainment.

"this is like getting slapped in the face with a ham" it's gotta be power violence

I love The Locusts. They're just punk to me. I love how difficult it was for y'all to describe them. They're just The Locust. Haha!

Soon after this period they started to compose much longer songs.
