I really like this album. The more I listen, the better it gets. My top 3 are Super Lady, Wife, Rollie! I hope they do another English EP and let Yuqi do the songs. Her English writing has improved a ton.

I love hearing Shuhua's vocals becoming more prominent and confident. Thank you Soyeon for always looking out for your members.
Miyeon - Cleopatra (Died by poisonous snake)
Minnie - Medusa (being on a circle stage aka Athena's shield where Medusa's head was placed)
Soyeon - Athena (Goddess of wisdom and Warfare)
Yuqi - Cruella Deville
Shuhua - Marie Antoinette (Cake, white rose, luxury, pearl, French pattern corset.. no bread)
Soyeon x Minnie in black - Medusa's snakes (Slithering on Athena's shield)
They also pay homage to other fellow 4th Gen girl groups too in the lyrics.

This comeback was simply incredible!!! They delivered everything!! They know what they are doing, it's a shame that cube doesn't value it... They managed to do well even in a company like cube, they are simply icons and I dare say even fourth generation leaders, I loved that they referenced powerful and influential women in her clip like Soyeon who referenced Athena/Artemis, Minnie who referenced Medusa, Miyeon who referenced Cleopatra/Isis, shushua who I believe is Marie Antoinette but soon they are telling me that who is the queen of hearts and yuqi as cruelle, I loved 2ne1's vibe and how they managed to reference all generations of kpop! Simply kpop queens!!
if i ever said that gidle are 4th gen leader i would be bashed online it’s crazy. people just don’t understand how good these girls are and how much they have to work because they don’t have a company that cares, they’re literally one in a million. might as well be the 4th gen leaders

But I seriously loved this concept and I'm in love with all the references.
Super Lady feels like such a flex and an uppercut to the haters. Vision is pure vibes.

Super Lady gives me such Beyonce vibes and I'm living for it!
In answer to why the album is called 2 (and there are a couple reasons behind it)
- 2 being their 2nd album
- If you flip the 2 upside down, it turns in a 5 (it makes sense when you look at the album teasers) and it represents the five members
- Their debut date is 2nd May, 2/5
- I think there's another reason that I can't remember anymore so I'll add it if I remember
U missed some part on the mv that I caught : Minnie was portrayed as medusa, hence why they destroyed a poseidon statue with soyeon that was actually portrayed as athena. It breaks the sexist mythological story where medusa was punished by athena for being raped by poseideon, and promotes women solidarity. If I am right they are complete geniuses.
Loving this (G)I-DLE comeback (then again I love all of their comebacks) and Super Lady really feels like an anthem! I don't even know if I should be surprised anymore by what they are putting out.

Nice video ! I think we are witnessing the raise of a huge international pop band . Also I would like to point out the great marketing for this album , I HAD to buy the triple version of the album . Totally different from western markets . Also they have the Special Performance Video , released immediately after the Super Lady Official Video. I think and I hope that THIS band will explode ( in the good way), in the next years .

If you’re looking for a slow sad song, gidles I never die has one of my favorites!! Polaroid is made for soojin by Minnie and it’s so heartbreaking!! Also the song tung tung and put it straight and heartbreaking
