About time you covered “Reincarnation” Pranav 💯👏.......the lack of evidence on reincarnation is a big reason why I left Buddhism. But the number of so-called real life reincarnation stories are in the thousands - and all of them lack reasonable, nevermind extraordinary, sources.
One thing I learned that religion all comes alike oneday, buddha had a whole different view from the religion teachings - buddhism. But its is comes alike with religion . Its better to learn by ourself rather than a groupe 😅

There are some things science can't explain it can ever explain, because the human intellect has to reach that level of consciousness to understand certain things. I don't know what it is with you. Just because your intellect is not able to process the information or you are not able to prove with science doesn't mean it is hoax. There are other stories of reincarnation like tutu Suresh case, where the kid remembered about his past life. There are some elements of truth in very religion. Just being an athesit doesn't mean you have to debunk certain philosophies that are written in religious texts. Rather than cooking a story about how this as fabricated, you can try to prove through science this is never possible, which you can't
Here’s the thing man! If him or likes of him are not upto “that” level of consciousness then the people who have “that” level of consciousness should come up with explanations and that too backed with proper evidence or formulas or anything which makes reincarnation believable.
Imagine how easy life would be if reincarnation would be proved.

Also she isn't the only person in the world who remember events from their oast life, there have been multiple stories of children accurately describing their past life all across the world

As far as reincarnation goes there is not one story but there are hundreds of stories where children have been able to identify their past lives. Let's see him go debunk all of them. Oh wait he couldn't even debunk this one..

I realised that compared to older videos, in your recent ones you have become more polite and composed and you try to put out your point without attacking someone for the beliefs they hold. This is really good and shows your knowledge/maturity because earlier these guys had an excuse of "you hurting their sentiments" to dismiss your rational points, but now they can't even do that. Apart from Shanti devi there are multiple other evidences/ stories of reincarnation. It's a faith based on evidence - why assume that any scientific theory concluded didn't have any bias of the scientist. Even if he didn't have an objective to prove if you think you can read through data and not deduce something different from the other person is stupid
I respect him for exposing pseudoscience but it's fair to say he's bias too. Calling reincarnation, karma as a unicorn in the room - karma is the only thing that can explain how we are different from birth. Or would they just say this is pure luck - in a world which has been proven by science to be so proportionate and mathematical, this is just by chance?
Listen to what he said. He didn't say that these stories are fake. Nor did he say reincarnation is wrong. He too said he isn't convinced, need more proof for him to believe
He opinionated this basis of few google searches and his beliefs that arya samaj people can't be unbiased. He didn't give any evidence to support his statement that they were unbiased while studying the reincarnation. You might see this in his other videos as well where he asks for evidence but when provided he uses reasoning to discard it, without providing any evidence supporting his reason.

My friend, you can awake a person who is sleeping but not the one who has simply closed his eyes (to run away from reality). You have absolutely no conclusive evidence to justify (apart from some cooked up theories) that this all is wrong. Let me point out flaws in your video and why this video is misguiding.
1. The story of Shanti devi was covered and verified by Ian Stevenson. But you spoke nothing about him who has written a number of books (if that is your criteria of acknowledging a person's intellectual capacity), and simply drew your attention on one KS Rawat. Just because it is mentioned in an article written by latter, does it become a hoax?
2. Now let's believe for a second that this story is indeed a hoax and it was all cooked up. But then what is your take on Suresh & Titu case that happened back in 1983 in Agra, everything is recorded on video. It was covered by a student of Ian Stevenson who was studying parapsychology (or PHD) in DU back then. You can watch the concerned person's interview on youtube itself and this case was featured in a documentary on BBC in 1990. BigBrainco has made a video on this case as well, but you haven't given your stance on that. You have not discussed the cases which are more recent and studied by eminent psychologists! Isn't it cherrypicking of facts?
3. India is not the only place where something like this has happened. If you dig deep, there are hundreds of them that have happened all across the world. Now in an attempt to refute it, you may say that people do this for fame. But is it practical, and does it sound logical?
4. Believing on things only when there is an evidence is rational thinking, agreed! But only when you want to see evidence and not mould the reality into what you want it to be. Did you present any evidence why this could be wrong? Did you provide any case study or any theory which disproves Ian Stevenson's theories? As I said, you can't awake a person who has closed his eyes.
5. Lastly, let me remind you as a student of science myself, that Science is not as developed as to give you every answer. So if science and evidence is your criteria of accepting reality, then my friend, you are limiting the scope of reality and science itself.
Science did not have an answer of Gravity before Newton discovered it, Science did not have an answer for Photoelectric effect before Einstein discovered it. They could do that because they accepted how nature works and tried to find answers instead of simply rejecting things by making up stupid theories. So learn to accept things and did deeper instead of misguiding people. Rejecting reality is not rational thinking, but pure IGNORANCE. There is a fine line of difference between these two.

My 2 cents for the Creator: As a student of science, I would love to humbly ask you to incorporate phrases like "These views are based on my understanding of reasons, and might carry some self induced bias here and there, or possible shortcomings." Since, in one of your previous videos, you just debunked few points (forget the title) without proper backing [as backings to claims are integral part of scientific debates/discussions]. So just passing on my thoughts. 😇
Pranav I would love that beside Pseudoscience Police series, you would make more educational videos on topics on popular superstitious in the country (there are tons). Trying to disprove BeerBiceps and his content too much might lower your credibility as one who is desperate.
70% of this video is ad-hominem attack which does not deserve to be labeled as debunking. And the clickbait title. Dedicating one's life entirely to a particular purpose does not in itself make their writings (the source) untrustworthy. Did you do a case specific research? You claim they dedicated life "establishing" something. How can the uploader not know this?
The main hypothesis at the center of re-incarnation is that physical bodies can die, but the consciousness does not : it just changes its location to another body. the fundamental problem is that currently science does not have a way of defining or measuring consciousness, or to track its movement. but scientists accept that we are conscious, that is why we are able to think & reason. It's a strange paradox that scientists cannot deny the existence of consciousness(as they could not think or have awareness without it), yet they cannot define it , thus they cannot disprove its claimed ability of re-incarnation. Without this ever being clearly defined, this subject can never be proven or disproven. I am interested if anyone has a method to actually approach this subject in a new way, rather than just calling it a hoax.
Hi Sir, I am a student of Shri Shankaraacharya's Advaita Vedanta Darshana. Having studied other Indian Philosophical schools such as Nyaya and Purva Mimamsa Darshana, let me give my perspective of Re-Incarnation. Please bear with long answer.
Also I have highlighted few words using double inverted commas and has put my views in points for easy understanding.
1) Theory of Incarnation is the byproduct/"corollary" of "Law of Karma".
Law of Karma is just a "Model" trying to explain the differences we experience in all of our Life similar to Atomic "Model" trying to explain different observed phenomenons such as Photoelectric effect or Heat transfer between different bodies or Chemical Reactions etc.
Model word used here in my perspective is a theoritical framework which is a closer "approximation" to Reality based on Available Data and Inference.
2) Let me clarify what I am trying to say with a hypothetical example.
Let's say person A and B has a son C born in place P1 at time T1, person D and E has a daughter F born in place P2 at time T2.
Now if anyone asks a question which may look absurd or weird to us which is "Why" was C born to A and B only but not to D and E? "Why" was C born at place P1 only but not at place P2 or some other place?
3) "Why" was F female but not male to which initially we can say because the way chromosomes arranged in Zygote to which again it can be asked that "Why" were chromosomes happened to be arranged in that way and this discussion goes on with further "Why".
4) Let's say F had good education and not C. Now one person can again ask "Why" F got good education but not C?
Even if we give answer with reasons such as A and B were poor and could not afford good education to C etc to which the questioner can further ask "Why" A and B were only poor but not D and E.
5) Here Law of Karma tries to explain these differences with the concept/"Hypothesis" Merits(Punya) and Demerits(Paapa) of C and F which were generated out of there past action.
6) Now the questioner may ask When/Where/Why did C and F do an action that generated Punya or Paapa that made them to be born in respective families in first place to which Law of Karma through "Anumana(Inference)" says that they "probably" must have done this action in "their past life".
Again not based on Pratyaksha("Direct Perception") but just Inference.
7) This "Model" also serves another purpose. Since it says that past actions result in merits and demerits at present, similarly present actions decide our future and "may" help in our next life "if exists" to go good if we do good deeds and not do bad deeds. This may be true or not but motivates people to do good deeds and keeps them in check to not do bad deeds at present.
8) The gist of above 7 points is Law of Karma is just a "Model" to explain the differences in each of our life experiences and Theory of Incarnation is just a "corollary" of that Model accepted in almost all Bharathiya Darshana or Indian Philosophical Schools.
Of course this Model has greater potential to be misused to fool people as well.
9) It cannot be proved as an objective fact like 2 + 3 = 5 because it is just a "Model".
It becomes a problem to those Belief Systems(Religion)/Philosophical schools which considers the Law of Karma as an objective fact whereas there is one Philosophical School which has no problem which is Advaita Vedanta Darshana of ShriShankaraacharya because Advaita Vedanta though accepts it in the beginning finally refutes and rejects this Law of Karma as well.
10) In future if a new Atomic Level Phenomenon is observed and current Atomic Model falls to explain it and a person P comes up with another Atomic Model which explains all past observed phenomenons and in addition explains this new phenomenon, then current Atomic Model will be rejected and that new Model of person P will be accepted. Till then current Atomic Model will be considered the best "approximation" of the Atom. Similar is the case with "Law of Karma Model" which is the current best possible explanation to different kinds of "Why" questions whereas other Models such as "Chance" or "God's will" etc may not explain all these satisfactorily.

Science can't totally deny the existence of ghosts either. Cause there's currently no way to prove it wrong 100%. Does that make it real? Many religions and cultures believe in ghosts. We actually came up with certain proofs of experiences or fallacies that itself points out that reincarnation is the only possible answer. These are more from actual experience pov and not from the books.
1. What we assume as birth and death is simply presence and absence of experience. No one has witnessed his own birth or death in any sense. All one has is third party pov, conveying him in the experience itself that he is born or gonna die. Lack of actual experience of this(Prtaykasha) is the key thing to note.
2. Let's focus on one's memories as well. Let's say if one actually borns as new soul, then there has to be some starting point of experience. But in our case, no one remembers when exactly his experiences have started. The nature of experience remains same throughout, though contents in that change as per individual. So the only possible conclusion of this is this is beginingless, which is the actual observation we all can agree upon.
Same way one can speak of death as well. There is always tomorrow. No one remembers dying.
3. Now you could say that memory is associated with body. So it might not be valid measure. True. But there is none measure that would show us cognise the birth and death. It always feels like infinite loop, where there's tomorrow everyday. This is what caused them declaring Moksha is the highest goal because without it, this never actually ends.
With these understandings, our vedas, irrespective of darshana, univocally stated that reincarnation exists. So when a sweet talking youtuber says reincarnation is not real, either he relies too much on bookish knowledge and has none intelligence to learn from experience to form his valid opinion (Jnana), and all of that for money which is worst that a hindu can do to his own religion.
I know about this guy who committed suicide, and in his note he said that he wants a better life in his reincarnation. Poor guy. Remember people, there's no way to make sure that you get an other life after death! Please embrace the one you've currently, and live the fullest.

Years ago I read this book - Many Masters, Many Lives, by Brian Weiss and it touches on the same subject. Frankly, reincarnation is a fascinating topic in itself. But forcing it down on people as truth just takes the curiosity away. Good video, as always.

You didn't touch the kernel of the story again, Pranav. You simply discredited the people associated with it. That is not the scientific method, for such discredition can be applied to practitioners of any profession. (Ex: One can say scientists are biased against non material things only because they have the label scientists.)

Well, I'm not saying I disagree with you 100%, but some points you tried to make didn't really hit home. While yes, it may be biased that the people that "checked" this case all believed in reincarnation, but I doubt they could've picked someone else. Like, who could they pick? Also, if I remember correctly, weren't also witnesses that kinda agreed with the girl(her husband or the brother, I don't remember exactly). I point this out because usually, when you want to check something, you bring the experts in that field. For example, if you want to check something in regards to physics, you consult with a physicist, right?
Another thing: you didn't prove what was actually flawed with the story. Let's say the people that checked the story were biased, but what about your point? Did you also asked other people about the story? What exactly seemed wrong to you? For example, some people pointed out that she misremembered where she placed the money.
